The installers were absolutely sloppy and had body odor. The caulking was done very unprofessionally and they got more caulking on the floor than where it was supposed to go. They forgot to bring the doors and a 3rd shelf. That was last Wednesday, May 14, 25. No one has contacted me, so I contacted them. They stated shower door won't be in until Friday May 30, 2025. So they won't be installed until June. Totally unhappy!!!! Would never have hired them had I known what was to unfold! Save yourself the aggravation and go w a better rated shower company. read more

PJ Fitzpatrick replaced 9 of my house windows on Friday. The installers did a good job and I have no complaints about that part. The next day, a Saturday, I discovered they had left 3 large filled contractor trash bags, unfastened, along with a large number of the old removed windows with assorted metal strips, screens and debris stacked up on the driveway against the garage. Partially blocked the entrance to my garage and the entrance to my neighbor's garage. (Our houses have a common garage wall and share the driveway.) My immediate call to Fitzpatrick resulted only in the statement that they couldn't pick up their trash until Monday. This is in violation of their contract that says the installers would clean up and remove all debris from the premises when work is completed. No mention that they'd do it 3 days later. It is now raining and all of bags now also contain rain. Also, the named Project Lead only showed up toward the end of the installation to ask me how I wanted to pay the balance, and then left. He should have been here at the end to see if everything was as it should be. If anyone has work done by Fitzpatrick I recommend withhold paying in full until you and the project lead or supervisor inspects that they've met all their obligations. read more

Pj Fitzpatrick sent their technician Daniel Gomez to assess the extend of the damage on our siding, and to explain to us the cost and available financing options. He was very thorough, took pictures of the house from various angles, sent them to their app Hover, and used the data to create an electronic image of the house. Then using the same app, he provided us with an image of how our house will look like after the new siding will have been installed. Daniel successfully explained to us why we should trust their company: they value integrity, transparency and high quality work. So we decided to hire their company to do a reno of our house siding. Follow-up on my post from Dec 2025. After three months I finally got my glass door and the job was done right at last. In Dec after I posted negative they called to come make it right. Unfortunately the glass pane they cut was not measured properly and on second visit my door still could not be fixed! Apparently the technician they sent over was incompetent, glass was cut 1/4" long and ofc can't be squeezed into the frame; he has since been let go from this company but I had to start all over again. Two other techs came to fix the mistakes, Brad and Ryan, they were good and knew what to do. Wish they sent them the first time... they advised that a field repair would be too tricky, so we decided in Dec to remove the door frame and send it to glass shop for repair. I had a spare door panel to fill the gap which was just lucky. Six weeks later they brought the glass door back and installed it. They did offer a 10% discount for the ridiculous delays. Very frustrating experience, perhaps the most irritating was inability to get a live person to talk to about the job, this outfit apparently runs a chain of contract shops and the phone # on web is an answering service where you leave a message. Eventually they do call back but how awkward! Would not use them again, although they eventually did get the job done, it took over three months to do a three week repair and I definitely overpaid. Better to use a local shop like GoGlass next time. read more

Please do your research before putting in a Jacuzzi shower. PJ Fitzpatrick did the install. Yes it was done in a day but the grout lines are uneven they tried to fix it but it did not work. Never were we told the seat would be slippery once you were wet. I slid off the seat got hurt ended up having to seek medical assistance for my back which slammed into the seat on my way down. If you are considering one of the walk in showers for an elderly or disabled person please know the shower floor is also very slippery a bath mat is a must have. They do leave you one on the day of install. I feel for the size (small) of our first floor bath the shower seat should have been smaller, you have to step around the seat to get in the shower. Again on a slippery floor..... Don't believe the Jacuzzi commercials when they say mold resistant because it is not true. They tell you the only cleaner you can use is 409 (or it voids your warranty) well that does not clean soap residue or mold/mildew. Oh and forget getting through to the warranty department they put you on hold for a while and then send you to a voicemail assuring you someone will call back. I had to call Jacuzzi after I waited 2 weeks for a return call to get PJ Fitzpatrick to talk to me and send a tech to our home. My advice is do research ask questions. We love the convenience of the walk in shower I just wish we had known more about the product and the questions to ask. read more

Salesperson was friendly and professional. Quoted "rock bottom" cost to replace a half of our roof ( small cape) for $10,000. After reviewing the proposal we had a few questions. No response. Tried several times. FINALLY they agreed to go over the quote again IF both partners were present. We were going to get a below rock bottom quote. After we spent over an hour with the first salesperson we did not agree to have yet another meeting since nothing had changed. Who has time for that nonsense? 11/28/23 Sandy at PJF made arrangements with me for the Project Mgr. Colton to come to our home between 9-and 10 to confirm some details before placing the order. He was a NO SHOW and did not text or call. NOT Acceptable. 12/8/23 Sandy at PJF again made arrangements to install new gutters w/ leaf guards between 8 -12 He was a NO SHOW and did not text or call. NOT Acceptable. 12/28/23 I made plans for Mike S. of PJF to come to our home between 10 -12 PM to take pictures of the work and for him to ask for feedback. He texted at 11:56 that he'd be there at around 12:30. Too late. Waited 2 hrs-NOT Acceptable We signed the contract w/PJ Fitzpatrick for a new roof and gutters. We put $4k down on 10/20/24 and were told work would be done before Thanksgiving. Also, we would pay for the remainder of the job at completion. Being asked for partial payment before both were installed and the clean-up was completed was not appreciated. When my husband told me that the gutter clean-up crew came. I could not tell. There were sharp metal scraps and paint chips on the front porch and yard. In light of the above, at this time I can't recommend PJ Fitz to others. Of course, there were several aspects of the process that I was very impressed with. The salesperson, Micah Hargrove, was a gentleman. He texted to notify us of his arrival time both times we met with him. It was a pleasure working with him. The crew that installed the gutters worked like a finely-tuned machine. I've worked with construction crews and can confidently say that their coordinated work ethic was exemplary. I appreciated that the roof clean-up person came the day after installation. He was friendly and completed the work effectively. I recommend that PJF upfront give new customers ONE contact person and their phone#/email for all appointments, schedule changes/delays. And ONE construction supervisor and their phone#/email. Payment and feedback requests should only be made after all the work and clean-up is completed. read more

As is so often the case with aging homes, one repair leads to another as the work done on one uncovers a litany of other hidden problems. So it is with the gutters and roof on my 30+ year old castle. The original gutters have gotten out of alignment and the 40 foot roofline is difficult to keep clear from all the trees I planted decades ago as saplings that now tower over the house and drop leaves onto the roof that slide into the gunnels. So, I had a company specializing in protecting gutters come out and install their patented system. They completed everything, but a small stretch in the back of the house where the fascia had rotted due to wetness and needed to be replaced. I needed a roofer to make that repair. This is where P. J. Fitzpatrick came in. They arrived the next day after calling. The two man crew with Mitch in charge, climbed up and examined the situation, taking photos on his phone to show me the damage. Very effective. There was a lot. The old fascia was rotten through, and the underlayment of plywood, wrap and even the joist, almost disintegrated. He wasn't sure if he could stabilize the conditions and suggested I would likely need to replace the roof at least in that area, and probably more given what he suspected he would find if he checked elsewhere. He did his best to install new fascia and the old gutter with stronger hardware, so that it would hold up until something more could be done. I appreciated his honesty and those photos/videos. He did a great job under the circumstances, and I agreed to meet with their guy who could examine the whole roof and give me a diagnosis and the probable expensive cure. That will be the subject of an amended review once I decide what to do about the bigger picture. But, as far as the responsiveness, professionalism and quality of the emergency repair, I am completely satisfied. Mitch showed his skill as a roofer and human being. This company is very overpriced. I would never higher them for anything. The Kid next door hit a gulf ball through my double pain insulated window years ago. They called this company which i would have never done. So called Tech came out, removed the pain of glass & took 2 weeks to come back with the replacement pane of glass which is ridiculous. The so called, tech was out by his truck putting the pain of glass back in the vinyl frame. I saw him hitting the vinyl frame with a steel hammer. I was wondering what he was doing. Upon installing the window glass & watching him every step as i did not trust him, he said he was done. He never opened & closed the window to show the operation, nor did he clean the glass after he was done. I asked to see the window operation go up & down, & after seeing the window get stuck going up & down i took a closer look. The window was cracked in the lower corner & when i asked what he was doing tapping the frame with a steel hammer, he said the new glass was bowed & defective & trying to get the frame to fit. Are you serious? So, he left it as it was. It took another week after complaining about the service & said i wanted a different so called, tech to reinstall the window. This time they sent someone who knew what he was doing. He installed the new glass pane with no problems, no bull. & cleaned the window & showed me the window operation going up & down. What a joke to go through this. Never again with this company. I can't even imagine the problems with shower installs or any other work they do & for the price they charge. And by the way they charged the neighbor $650.00 for a replacement casement windowpane. That is absurd. read more

They were extremely communicative throughout the process, and kept me informed on any minor changes necessary, as well as advice for future upkeep and maintenance. Both did a great job with the removal, replacement, and finishing work afterwards--even with the exciting thunderstorms and downpours. Skilled, knew their stuff, and instilled confidence in me that they knew what they were doing! Additionally, setting up the appointment was easy. Granted there was a bit of a wait given the COVID-19 issues and work load they are under, but Victor was punctual on the estimate date, and we scheduled the repair same day. I hired this company to replace our tub with a better tub. I am pretty hard to impress and I was pleased with the service, process, and product. There were some minor snags along the way. The most annoying part was the sales process. The sales demo was a little smoke and mirrors but I was able to haggle the price down a bit to what I thought was fair. If you're considering using them, never accept their first price or their second or their third, make them keep lowering it. They shaved $3000 off the cost with two promotions. The one thing that really annoyed me about it is that the sales person refused to show me an itemized estimate and refused to allow me to see the individual prices for the fixtures / options so I could weigh the choices and see the cost drivers. She would only show me a total price. I'm sure I could have ushered her away and requested it from the company directly but I was also dealing with the fact that she was pressuring me to sign that day for an extra $1500 off. I know an itemized bill was available and she was lying to me because it was submitted with my township permits. Once booked, a coordinator called to schedule and it was actually installed 6 weeks earlier than I expected! I do wish more was conducted by text or email. They brought 3 guys and 3 trucks to do the install and were perfectly on time. The install went well except for one issue. We asked them to do the tile in a particular way to match the height of the rest of the bathroom and they agreed. But there was a miscommunication and they didn't do it. You can see in the picture it goes to the ceiling. So I complained and they credited me several hundred dollars after the fact. Also they gave me 0% down 0% interest financing for a year, so with inflation like it is now, that's a 10%+ discount. I did appreciate that they basically have a lifetime warranty for any issues. I had the coupon for $249 gutter cleaning. They came out to clean my gutters. I had also asked them to check my skylight because it was leaking. They said they cleaned my gutters and they were fine. However, the skylight could not be fixed because I needed to have a new roof put on. They scheduled an appointment for someone to come out and give me an estimate for a new roof. I decided I should probably get a second opinion. I called another roofing company. They came out and told me that the skylight could be fixed by cleaning and caulking. The roof was fine, I probably have another 10 years in it. I had been able to see some of the gutters from my second-story bedrooms. I took pictures of them. I saw that they were not clean. When the second roofing company came, I asked them about it. They said that they were supposed to be blown out clean. These were obviously not clean very well. I am a single female, and I feel like I was taken advantage of because they never thought I would be able to see my gutters, or that I would get a second opinion. For another roofing company to tell me that I did not need a roof solidifies that this company is not trustworthy. I currently have a phone call in to speak to a repair manager because I would like for them to come and clean my gutters as they should have been clean the first time. Not only did they order the wrong door so I had a shower that couldn't function for three weeks, and they did a shoddy installation job on it with the caulk, then they had the nerve to up charge me for the original door that they didn't install to the tune of $555! And they charged me for 6 shelves when I only got 4, and those were $74 a piece. And then, I found out how bad their customer service is. I waited nearly two weeks for an appointment to have an estimate to have my gable vents replace. I was told that the technician would arrive in a fully stocked truck, ready to do the job if I decided that I wanted to go with it. The technician shows up and gives me a quote that even he says it what his company typically charges to do a partial roof replacement. Even if I wanted to do the job, he says that he got to my house too late to do the job, and he doesn't have the vents anyway. When I told the technician that I was told that you guys would show up and do the job if I agreed with the price - he kind of finished my sentence and snickered as if that is what they always say. This company wants nearly $2,000.00 and possibly more, to replace three gable vents. What a complete waste of time to deal with PJ Fitzpatrick. Never again.. read more
