Then it changed to $1500, then $2500. He didn't do any of the work himself and had to tear out half the install at least once because it clearly was a safety hazard. He charged me $550 for wire that he didn't even use; his employee did a half-ass job that won't pass inspection. In total, they spent less than 12 hours on the job (9 if you skip the part where they had to uninstall the first part) and charged me $3350. That's nearly $400/hr for substandard work. When approached about it, he pretended to listen, but nothing changed. He refuses to return my calls or respond to a certified letter. He's a fast talker, though, so be cautious. We gave him multiple chances to refund the $850 he overcharged us, and he won't reply. We will be reporting him to the labor board and to the Licensing Bureau for electricians. It's unfortunate that he turned out to be so irresponsible.

First he was on time, he actually beat me to my own house and I'm very punctual. Once there he explained everything he was going to do before he got started. He thoroughly checked my HVAC unit and reported everything was in proper working condition. When he came inside to check the thermostat he noticed I had a wifi enabled thermostat. My home warranty wouldn't allow him to touch it (liability) but he was able to explain to me what I should look for to be the issue. We discussed the thermostat. Mr. Lyons explained that the thermostat I have is still under warranty and he suggested that I give them a call because they are a great company and stand behind their products and they are probably going to end up sending me a new one based on what we discussed to be the issue. I called them and was off and on the phone with them for 5hr. In the midst of me being on the phone with them I called Mr. Lyons back and explained to him what was going on. He told me to tell them the the system is working in proper condition and the blue wire is the main wire (paraphrased). Once I told the thermostat company that they ran multiple test to the point we blew the fuse troubleshooting. I had to run to Home Depot to get a new fuse!!! Once the thermostat company finally got my AC running they stated that my thermostat is faulty and because it's still under warranty they are sending me a brand new one (Just like Mr.Lyons said) and I can discard the current one once it comes in. If it wasn't for Mr. Lyon's I wouldn't have known my thermostat was still under warranty. I wouldn't have known what to say to them and I wouldn't be sitting in the AC right now. Definitely appreciate his thoroughness!

Follow-Up Review: Continued Refusal to Address Significant Damage…read more I'm posting this follow-up to inform potential customers that Assured Comfort Heating, Air, and Plumbing still refuses to accept responsibility for the significant damage caused to my home--originally exceeding $100,000 in mold remediation and repairs. During an attempt to correct their own sloppy workmanship, they caused an additional $4,000 in secondary damage, which their insurance company did not cover and they refuse to reimburse. Despite being formally served by the Marshal's Office, Assured Comfort has failed to respond to my small claims court filing. As a result, I'm now pursuing a default judgment in Fulton County Superior Court. Given the unprofessional service, extensive damage, and complete lack of accountability, I strongly advise prospective customers to seek a different provider--there are many reputable options in the area, such as CoolRay, Premier Indoor Comfort, and Casteel Heating and Cooling, all of which can be easily found on Google with far better reviews and ratings. Don't risk going through the nightmare I've experienced with Assured Comfort.

He asked if he could come back another day. During his first visit, he made this huge hole for the lights but decided it would be better to put the lights in a different spot. I agreed. He promised to repair the hole and it would look like the hole was never there. He asked if he could come back to repair it. He made several appointments to come back but something always came up. I knew then he didn't know how to fix it. When he finally came back, his attempt to fix the hole was HORRIFIC!! (see pictures) He then said he would pay his contractor to come back and do it. During all of this, he wanted me to pay for everything in full, even though he had not finished the job. I refused, I had already paid him a deposit of $100 and would not pay a dime more until the job was finished. He contacted me 5 times asking me to pay him before the work was done. Even today as his contractor is working to repair the hole, he is STILL trying to get me to pay him before he finishes. Be careful, he lies a lot. He even claimed he couldn't keep our appointment because he needed to take his fiance to the ER. He took a picture of her laying on the floor. (Looks staged to me - who takes a picture if it's an emergency with your fiance?) He also rescheduled because he had a flat and also took a picture of that. ‍ It hurts me to leave the review because he is a young black man trying to create something for himself.
