Finding the bulb for this lamp has been a time-consuming affair over the years, with few options (including Internet retailers). I have been able to find the replacement bulbs at Alpa Lighting since they opened. This unique little store carries a huge number of bulbs, and tons of lamps, indoor and outside lighting and accessories. I'm glad they're around, BUT two stars get taken off from this yelp rating because they don't take bulbs purchased there back for recycling.

The first year they were hung they were done on time but it was late January before they came down. They claimed they were a small company and had a death in the immediate family. I gave them a break and used them again the next year. BIG mistake. The second year, after many many calls my lights were turned on about a week before Christmas. They did offer a credit after the fact. The third year (my lights are paid off now) I was very hesitant but it appeared that they had been bought. They provided service level agreements and their communication was much more professional. I was hopeful. They did an early install of just lights in late October. Again very professional and even did a follow up call. The garland was to be hung and lights working the week of thanksgiving. Well, it's now the 9th of December and all I have is poorly hung garland and lights that only half work. I have called for 9 straight days. Filled out online forms. Even spoke to someone last Thursday who said she would send someone in 24-48 hours. I was hopeful when I got a call 2 days ago that a crew was on the way. But no one showed. More calls from both my husband and I. Still nothing.., DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! HORRIBLE service and a complete rip off. So disappointed!

The customer service was below par and they seemed to have a disconnect between the agreed upon lighting, what decor supplies they have and communication with their installers. Also be sure to check the charges that post to the account that you paid with as my charges that posted weeks after the install wert more than the agreed upon quote. Paul came over promptly after we contacted him, and did not charge us for the assessment visit as other companies I contacted wanted to do. Although we had been originally interested in a repair only, he gave us an estimate for the repair plus a complete "tune up" of our 6 year old system, including cleaning the lenses, replacing the bulbs, restaking fixtures, and we are glad we decided to have it done. He also advised on new astronomical timers, which are great because they adjust themselves throughout the year without us having to do anything. We are very happy we went with Paul and pleased with both the service and outcome.
