Chef miguel is literally amazing!! We had two people eating with us who have celiac disease, and he came out to discuss their allergy and what he can do to accommodate them. My hubby and I were just driving around Estero after church and found this wonderful Chinese restaurant. Their food is made fresh and clean no MSG in any of their dishes. The atmospheres is relaxing , welcoming and very beautiful. I enjoyed their King Pao Chicken while my husband really was pleased with Sweet and Sour Pork. Their noodles were todded in a garlicky butter sauce so very yummy. Nick our server was awesome. We were served a complimentary bitterly pea flower tea which was very delicate with a bit of earthy taste with added lemon and Hindi very light and pretty. The staff and ambience is great! The food was just mid. What I would recommend is appetizers pork riblets, lobster and crab rangoon, and shishito peppers. Not my first time here. And won't be my last. Love the vibe, the music, the drinks, the food... but probably most importantly, the staff. Unfortunately some people are just not made for the service industry and can ruin a dining experience. This is my fourth time here. Consistently seeing the front staff being attentive, the food delicious and the cocktails were amazing. Christian our server was great. Attentive, happy and gave some recommendations What was fun to see that people in the back, the chef and the cook staff enjoying themselves. Talking, laughing and almost dancing. They were having a great time there and when the food came out... you can tell the love they put into their work. Had the Mongolian Beef over noodles and the salt and pepper shrimp over noodles. We split the lobster rangoons and the dumplings. Chef Miguel came out and introduced himself to the table too. Super interactive and wanted to make sure we thought the food was good. First visit to PJK, and we're hooked! The decor and ambiance are beautiful. The service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The menu features classic standards as well as many more adventurous and exclusive items. Their cocktails are amazing- we had the Shisho Pretty and the Lotus Blossom, both excellent. I definitely think that this is an elevated Chinese food experience but I kept in mind that due to our environment it's tailored more towards the demographic here and so it's a little on the safe side. Knowing that, I had expectations that were met. The environment is luxe and the service is fab. Prices are little on the pricier side but what we ordered was great. I loved that the entire staff pitched in and made our experience memorable. Our favorite dish was the orange beef, wow! We don't love sweets but this was more on the savory side and had a nice kick. Met a friend for lunch today at PJK Chinese Restaurant. The place is beautiful. It is located in Coconut Point Mall. We had egg rolls for an appetizer. They were good but a little greasy. My friend had chicken lettuce wraps and I had chicken pad Thai. The food looked great and tasted delicious. The service was great. They give you a small cup of tea. Not sure the type but it was delicious. Instead of fortune cookies they give little donuts. They looked good but tasted greasy. Extremely disappointed my first and last visit. I was so excited to try this for dinner and ordered Pork Dumplings, Kids Mongolian Beef, 1/2 chicken fried rice and veggie egg rolls. Mongolian beef under cooked Rice with mongolian beef was so spicy a kid couldn't have eaten it. I am an adult and found this extremely over spiced. The egg rolls were over burned and insides gummy The pork dumplings were not cooked inedible. On a good note the interior was well decorated and bar area nice. Here for the first time and it's just as impressive as it was my first time at the PJK in Naples just off 5th Ave. The setting and menu selections here is much more extensive and relaxing as it's in the Coconut Mall with flowers all around and an outdoor patio. My server today was VAL. She was very professional, helpful with my menu choices, very personable and I had finished each appetizer before ordering the next, and before ordering my main entree. Both off the Social Hour Menu; the CHEF'S SPECIAL DUMPLINGS which was beef short rib and pineapple in a slightly fried wonton. and the CHICKEN DUMPLING SOUP had lots of broth with pieces of white meat chicken and small dumplings throughout. I liked them both and interestingly enough both appetizers and the main entree had a lot of the shredded carrots, shredded scallions and sliced onions. The chef's special dumplings had cold sliced garnish. But I enjoyed them all. I would have preferred three kinds of small dipping sauces, a soy sauce, a duck sauce and a sweet chili sauce. The sauce in the plate was ok, but I like more options and flavors. Again, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed everything I had. The main entree was very good!!!The SZECHUAN SEA BASS; fresh filet in a spicy szechuan broth, with a small portion of vegetables and a classic fried rice side dish which I eventually emptied into the bowl of broth. Enjoyed the entree very much. Each piece of the sea bass is weighed the same. All my entrees are posted. If addition to an assortment of gelato for dessert, they offer a complimentary dessert call MOCHI. It's two small Japanese rice cakes made from glutinous rice, steamed, pounded, and molded into a soft, fried texture. VG!!! So the food, service and ambience was perfect for my early dining on the patio outside. Read that the creator of PF CHANG'S started this place. The General Tso's Chicken was great. When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised at how the decor had changed so much from the previous restaurant which I also frequented. The service was awesome. Very enjoyable dinner. Nice ambiance. Our server Ryan started us with a complimentary cup of signature tea which was delicious. For dinner I had the Szechuan Sea Bass. I asked our server beforehand how spicy the dish was and he assured me that they served the broth on the side so I could control the spice level. My fish was cooked perfectly and had a good amount of heat. It was served with assorted vegetables and a side of fried rice. My friend ordered the spring roll and rangoons-she noted that they were tasty albeit a small portion. Our waiter, Ryan, was excellent but the bus boy was a little too quick to take plates off our table. No sooner had my friend finished her last bite of spring roll when he appeared almost as if out of thin air and was eager to snatch the plate away. A bit too rushed so that needs to be tweaked. I also ordered a raspberry sorbet for dessert but after waiting over 10 minutes for it I was informed that they were out of it. That was disappointing. Hopefully they have it next time. read more

I love my new neighbor, PJK. The inside of the restaurant is stunning, not as awesome as my date though. The new building is very romantic, fun, and modern. The service was great, especially for this place just opening. These are veterans. Great job to the staff and management. The food is the best Chinese in Southwest Florida. I have had many late night General Tso's orders from countless places in the area and this one is hands down the best. My hot date ordered the Teriyaki Steak on a Stick that came with fried rice and she wanted to box it up for leftovers. I didn't let that happen, I cleaned it up, 10/10. One surprise was that my side of fried rice was $10, but once I tasted it, they could've charged me $100, and I would still get it! Nicely done. This is purely a kung pao chicken review. I try kung pao chicken at every nearby Chinese restaurant, and while visiting my parents I saw this place. 22$ for the dish. It is very similar to the PF changs kung pao where it just hits you with intense salt, high ratio of chicken, lack of veggies, and a palatable but unsatisfied taste. The chicken needs to be diced smaller so you can get a bite of chicken, crunchy vegetable, rice all in one. I had almost no veggies in mine. Needs more peanut. Throw some carrot in there, water chestnut anything. Give it some more chili oil and less dried peppers. Somewhat disappointing portion size for a 22$ meal as well. read more

Truly enjoyed our 1st experience at PJK in Estero this past Sat night. Great ambiance and beautifully decorated. Service was excellent and food was superb! We took advantage of their Sizzling September deals and we were not disappointed. Portions were sizable and flavor was delicious. Staff was on top of everything and I noticed one employee (Araceli) who was working the entire establishment and she was amazing! I couldn't have been more impressed with how she was helping to get food to tables and also helping clear as well as helping their wait staff and food runners. I was so impressed watching her that I asked her name so I could reference her in this review! She was incredible as well as our waiter.
