I placed an online pickup order through the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar website at 12:32 PM using their preferred ordering platform, ChowNow. The order was prepaid and included a 20% gratuity. After parking and walking to the restaurant, I received a text message at 12:47 PM stating that my order had been canceled and refunded because the restaurant could not make the order. Assuming this must have been an error, I still went inside and waited in line to explain what had happened. When I reached the counter and calmly explained the situation, several staff members immediately chimed in saying things like "I was watching and no orders came through." At that point it became clear that the order likely had not been acknowledged on their end and was automatically canceled after 15 minutes. Despite the fact that the order had been placed directly through the restaurant's own website and had already been prepaid with gratuity, there was no apology and no effort to resolve the situation by making the order. Instead, the staff member at the register told me that "ChowNow always doesn't work" and that I should have called the restaurant instead. That response was surprising considering the order was placed through their official website, which directs customers to use that exact system. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to step out of line. When the manager arrived, the interaction unfortunately got worse. Before I could finish explaining the situation, he interrupted with "Are you going to let me talk now?" and proceeded to repeat that none of this was the restaurant's fault. There was still no apology and no attempt to remedy the situation by simply preparing the order that had already been placed. What made the experience particularly disappointing is that this location has been one I've visited many times over the years. Mistakes happen in any business, and an online ordering system failure is understandable. What is not understandable is the complete lack of basic customer service and the unwillingness of management to take ownership of the problem or attempt to fix it. A simple apology and an offer to make the order would have resolved the entire situation. Instead, the response from both staff and management was dismissive and defensive. Unfortunately, that interaction has turned what had been a frequently visited restaurant into one I will not be returning to. read more

The only thing I'd change about this place is the size. It's TINY and quite packed but the food and service are fantastic so in my opinion it's worth the tight seating area. All of the food is amazing but the best item is the steak flatbread. Mushroom and onion are so tasty and the cheese and sauce flavors are out of this world delicious. You can't go wrong with the signature coconut shrimp and the mahi tacos are some of the best I ever had! It's no longer on the menu but they can still craft a delicious key lime martini and that's my favorite addition to this seafood dinner! read more

This has by far become one of my favorites. The staff make you want to come back with their awesome personalities and great service and sense of humor. Erica is a top notch server who takes the time to remember her patrons and what they drink. Ethan has a signature coconut mojito that my husband (who hates coconut and i who hate mojitos) were able to agree was incredible and worth drinking again. The steak flat bread, coconut shrimp, and Keylime pie are always spot on. The corn dip must also be awesome cause I hear everyone ordering it all the time. If you can sit at the bar, you get to enjoy the staffs incredible interaction with each other. It genuinely looks like they all enjoy working here which speaks volumes to the management. Mike is non stop bustling in the kitchen to push out the great food in a timely fashion as his bar staff positively greet patrons and keep the ambiance fun and entertaining. Happy hour is 3-5. It is self seating and I highly encourage you get a table while someone stands in line to order food which will be delivered to you. There is also often live music. Still a great place for lunch while shopping around Coconut Point. The fish tacos were excellent and so was the avocado taco salad, though those two items were essentially $50 with a tip. Expensive, but the quality is pretty good. My one gripe is there isn't nearly enough outdoor seating. We had to sit in a cramped hallway out of the sunshine and away from the live music. Frustrating, but not enough to make us not go. And we will likely go again! read more

Good food and nice ambiance, BUT note this location is very different from their Naples restaurant. At the Bar focused location at Coconut Point, you will need to order yourself at the bar, fetch your own water in a plastic cup from the water station, and your food will be served on disposable plates with plastic utensils. If you want a full service experience, this isn't the spot for you. But if you are on the go and fine with paper and plastic, get in the queue and snatch a table if/when a customer leaves. read more

This was a surprise find. We haven't been to Tommy bahama due to a lack of GF options but....... They made our options GF and they were so amazing. The mahi mahi grilled tacos.... Delicious. They had a blackened shrimp salad, I could have had 2. It was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back. The staff were extremely kind. Stopped by to have a nice lunch in the beautiful weather. We had the chips and guacamole to start and the coconut shrimp. The mojito and wine were nice. Unfortunately the food all came within a few minutes of receiving the apps. For the mains we got the sliders, taco salad with steak, and Mahi Mahi tacos. The food was good, however, as I was about to start my second taco, there was a long black hair running along side the fish. I lost my appetite. They did take the Mahi off, which was good. But just put a sour ending to the meal. For $120 before tip, I think we will go elsewhere. The live music was nice though. read more

Very disappointing. Went there for dinner, arriving at 8:45 pm. Had to place order at counter. The four of us placed our order and were shown to a table. Our drinks were delivered and the waiter said "last call". We were shocked to find out they close at 9pm. We mentioned to the waiter that our food hadn't even been served yet, we asked him to come back in 10 minutes , and we would order additional drinks.He said I'll be back in 5 minutes. The waiter never returned and when we saw him as we left, he was nasty a said " I told you it was last call". We won't be returning any time soon. read more

Stopped in for a bite to eat in April 2022. They had live music on the patio and it was the most beautiful warm day. We were seated fairly quickly. It was a little tricky to figure out how to order and get your food, as servers don't come to your table. However, it was definitely worth it! Honestly, some of the most delicious food I had while we were on vacation. We shared appetizer sized portions and enjoyed happy hour drinks! The bar is located in a busy shopping area. We tried Tommy Bahamas in the coconut mall for the first time. You sit outside you order at the bar and then they serve you. We're able to sit on the side under an umbrella with lots of shade. We tried the Mexican street corn dip with chips. Best we ever had. We split the hamburger sliders. Both were very, very good. We had two iced teas and they were OK. Fun place to go for lunch. There are two people that were singing and playing instruments and they were great to hear. You felt like you were on vacation when you were there. read more

Took the missus there for a valentines dinner while on winter break with the kids. We shared a bunch of plates. The blackened shrimp was a highlight. Some of the fried items were a bit too rich for my liking but that is a personal preference. The drinks and service were great. Have been coming here off and on for 2 years - off during the pandemic when everything was closed down, back on several months ago, and then ever since. We always aim for the bar, but it's always busy, even more so during "season", so we have also sat at the patio tables; both are ok, but obviously the counter is more fun. Food is good setup is weird as they don't wait on you, you have to order at the stand. I just seen this as the type of place they wait on you. Now they do come around and can take drink refill orders if you leave your card on file. The staff was very nice and the food was good. We had corn dip it had great flavor. The coconut shrimp was good and the sauce was tasty. I had the chicken sliders they were just ok. The burger sliders were amazing. The only thing I wish is that the music was better or more island like. Some Bob Marley, or something like BB king- music that puts you in the mood and makes you happy. I came here at 4:15 pm on a Friday in November. The crowd was happy and drinks delicious. I had a roasted vegetable bowl with grilled shrimp and a Bahia sangria. Usually the Bahia sangria is $11 but they charge $9 at happy hour. The food was great and service was thoughtful and friendly. I highly recommend it. Ps - happy hour lasts 4-6 pm and wine is $7 and martinis $10 -- but the bartender oddly enough will charge full price unless you mention happy hour. read more

Stopped here for a light lunch. Though I love Tommy Bahama clothing, this was my first time at the restaurant. I got the salmon avocado bowl and it was hands down the best "salad" I have ever had!!!
