Visited last night and were pleasantly surprised. We started off with their tuna wontons which came in a stack of three and were delicious. For entrees I had their braised short rib covered with a red wine sauce and my wife had their baby back ribs, the short rib was tender and the ribs were superb. We topped it off with their key lime pie that I dare to say is one of the best I've tried in a while. Service was top notch and friendly. read more

First time there tonight. Our server was NIKKI who works behind the bar and services the High-Top tables in the bar area for the Happy Hour guests. She was very professional, very personable, helpful with the menu choices and on top of everything in her area. Didn't miss a beat. Thank you again NIKKI. We'll be back.....Enjoyed the six different items we shared. 1 order PRIME RIB SLIDERS 1 order MAC & CHEESE 1 order BRUSSELS SPROUTS 1 AHI TUNA TACO 1 DUCK TACO 1 PANKO ONION RINGS We enjoyed them all but felt the Duck Taco needed a hint of a L'Orange sauce or another sauce as it was too bland, but still a generous portion and very good. No issues with anything else. Was surprised it hasn't picked up yet, so don't miss this. It was early, 4:00pm. Forget we're retired. Will bring some friends here. Want to try other items and the extensive lunch and dinner menus looks great. Aesthetically, the restaurant is very Large and lots of tables inside the restaurant and outside in the enclosed patio behind the high tops behind the bar. Few more tables outside the entranceway. Very comfortable looking. Again, the service, ambiance and of course the food was right up there. Did manage to take home half the onion rings. I enjoyed everything we chose. On the way out, I did manage to tell the manager or part owner that we enjoyed everything and will be back with our friends. A bit of history of the restaurant's name: The restaurant is named after JOHNNY LUJACK great football player from 1943-1951, for Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Chicago Bears who recently passed away in 2023 at 98 years of age. His wife, Patricia Ann "Pat" Schierbrock passed away in 2022 at 95 years of age. They had been married since 1948, close to 74 years. Went last evening, place was empty. 3 wait staff came to our table to first take our drink order. Not sure if training was going on. Main waiter very defensive. Ordered drinks. Drinks sat on the bar while group of 3 waiters waited on the only other table for 10 minutes. Hailed the manager pointing to our drinks sitting on the bar. Drinks were served. Ordered our food and we were told "sorry we are out of that". Since we didn't care to order a $28 burger (one of the cheapest items on the menu, we cashed out. My one drink which was an old fashioned (received one shot of liquor) was $18, $$ over posted price on menu. read more

We ate at the bar on Day 2 of Lujacks opening. The decor is lovely, especially the bar surface with its under counter lighting. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was wonderful. They subbed another veggie for the baby boy choi. The salmon was cooked medium like he'd asked. I had their one of their TWO FISTED Sandwiches, the "Chicago Dip". It's a shaved roast beef sandwich with aus jus. It definitely was two fisted! The beef was sliced & cooked medium and it was so tender. I had dinner with several friends last week. It was not crowded and we were seated immediately. The environment is excellent. A whole lot of money went into the style of this restaurant. The food is very expensive. I had the French dip which was very good with steak fries that were also great. It was $28 or $29. Salad with sirloin steak was also in the mid to high $20's Steaks are around $60. Service was very good They do also have a happy hour. The bar area is beautiful and the bartender very attentive. Drinks are reasonably priced at happy hour and were very good. Food was mostly a big miss. Prime rib sliders were so, so salty that they were difficult to eat. They also come with a bit of au jus and horseradish sauce. The fish tacos, my wife told me were flavorless. On the positive side, the onion rings were delicious. read more

We wanted to try some place new. My husband saw on social media Lukack's happy hour so we decided to go. The restaurant is very nice inside with round booths and tables. The bar area has some high tops and many seats at the bar. The bartenders were all extremely friendly and helpful. We got a few things from their HH menu: Mac and cheese, prime rib sliders, smoked chicken wings and duck tacos. The Mac and cheese came with jalapeno so we asked to have it without it. It was creamy and very tasty. The prime rib sliders were delicious as well and came stacked with a lot of prime rib. Those came with a side of au jus. The duck tacos were just ok. My husband didn't know that street tacos don't come with cheese on them. He did like the smoked wings. I had one and thought they were too smokey for me. The HH drink selection was good. An amazing place!!!!! Used them for our companies seminars. Not only was the food delicious, but the restaurant was classy, room is huge with TV hookups. Thd service was impeccable - Octavian was a dream server! He helped us every dinner and made sure our food came out hot and on time, I also had Tyler and Micheal and they were great too!! Ted the owner is the absolute sweetest and helped us set up along with Larry. I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to deal with an ENTIRE restaurant that is ran perfectly from top down! When you walk in, you immediately feel like a true customer. The bar seating is crisp and clean. You cannot go wrong with any food choice. My wife and I went there 2 days in a row for lunch. We had a last minute work event here today with around 25 people and I don't have enough good things to say. We called last minute and they accommodated our whole party in a very nice private room, with a custom menu and the best service we have had anywhere in a long time especially for a big group on a Saturday. Some of the most impressive food I've had so far in Naples. High quality and masterfully presented. Dim lights make for a casual cozy atmosphere, ample seating inside and out , separate room for private parties, happy hour in the bar and outside from 3-6pm. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The bartender is not very friendly but more importantly he pouted a drink that was barely 2 1/2 seconds and you couldn't even taste the alcohol in it. My wife and I sat at the bar. The service was good and attentive. Nice bar... We had the happy hour ahi tuna taco's, they were not good. Think fish sticks in a tortilla. The tuna was overcooked and the tortilla fell apart. The spinach artichoke and jalapeño dip was okay, a little bland and not spicy as noted on the menu. My biggest issue was they use seed oil. Wanted to try something new and Lujacks was just up the street and has been open for a bit so decided to go with it despite the mixed reviews. At 5:45 we were the only table in the restaurant, which should have been are first clue. Drinks were good, waitstaff was incredibly nice but poorly trained. Food and presentation was mediocre, steak was cooked as ordered but extremely fatty and could tell it wasn't cooked on a hot enough grill. Unfortunately this place won't be around much longer if something doesn't change, for the price of $115 per person with one appetizer to share and one to two drinks person and meal I would expect excellent service, that's the only thing that make a restaurant standout. There are many places to eat with a better view, excellent service and food for the same price or even less. read more

I felt the food was definitely not what they are charging for it. My wife had the grouper, it was served on 4 extremely large asparagus. Fish was rubbery and asparagus very tough. We sent it back. $45 dollars for this menu item. If you wanted anything sides all was ala carte . I had the fish and chips. Chips were good but the batter on the fish was like bread crumbs...not my thing. Fish was good though. Our friend had the beef dip and said it was good. Dessert was a key lime pie and their 12 layer chocolate cake. Both I felt were bought frozen. Service was good. And management did take the grouper off the bill with no problem. read more

First walking in, the smell was noticeable, like the stale lake water that you smell around Naples. Second the prices are too high, and nothing comes with your meal. At least one side dish should be included. $12 for french fries is ridiculous, are your potatoes somehow better than an average potato? I had them, and I assure you they aren't, and are not enough for 2 as we were told. Something else needs to be on the empty plate with the steak or ribs. Where else do they serve an overly priced 'meal' with no side. These are not 'meals', clearly just a way to increase the tab. And very noticeable, and offensive. Put some full meals on your menu and maybe the insult to the customer of being asked to pay so much for french fries won't be quite the slap in the face you have made it. My wife and I went to Lujack's for their soft opening. I chose the braised short rib and my wife had the All-American Lujack Burger. Both were very good. The dishes were large enough for second meals at home. Service was excellent and our server was well-trained and knew the ingredients and details of how the food was prepared. Always use Yelp and it rarely disappoints. My fault for only 3 reviews and 7 weeks under their belt. Stopped in at 4:45 tonight and were asked if we wanted to sit bar or dining room. No mention of happy hour or any direction. Chose the quiet dining room. Had a very attentive server (maybe because everyone else was in the bar). The menu does not resemble the one pictured online. We wanted a simple American grill. 39.00 for a pork chop on a plate over mushrooms...no sauce, no sides. (Good but not Great) and 29.00 for a Chicago Beef Sandwich. Nothing included with porkchop so add 18.00 salad, one meatball appetizer and 1 cocktail bill 121.00. Sandwich cold and a huge disappointment. Manager asked for feedback and then Explained why my sandwich was cold by saying they wanted to keep the beef rare.
