This place is a great little mom and pop joint. It's small and intimate. When we went on a Saturday morning at 9am it was busy. They have a decent menu and if I lived nearby I'd come back to try their lunch options. I got a breakfast bowl and a side of hash browns with cheese and onions. Both were great. My daughter loved her breakfast burrito as well. Portions are large and pricing is fair. I'd definitely recommend it'. read more

This cozy cafe has great breakfasts and lunches, as well as friendly staff. I always enjoy bacon, eggs and hash browns for breakfast and a Bourbon Trail (sauteed chicken, bacon, Swiss cheese and sweet bourbon sauce on a hoagie) for lunch. My wife loves their pancakes and hash brown casserole. I wish we lived closer so we could go here more often. read more

Been here twice. The first time was great. Service was great and food was delicious. Today? Not at all. Service....or lack there of, was a joke. Our waitress did not check on us one time in the hour we were there. Never topped my coffee or refilled our water. Food was cold. I would have sent it back to at least be nuked in the microwave, but again she never came to check on us to see how the food was. Finally came back and asked for to-go boxes. Never came. Probably the worst service I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Ma'am with the face piercings, do better. FYI, you need to check on your tables at least once an hour....eye roll. read more

This has to be a gem for the people of this little burb but it's also a gem for those passing through, which we were. This is no ordinary white bread kind of place. I order a friend chicken salad and the tenders were hand breaded and fried. Juicy and perfect. And the salad had lots of great toppings with I think, a home made honey mustard. Hubby had a patty melt and the chips were hand fried and the patty on his sandwich so generous we took it home and revived the second half. The servers were friendly and the food executed well. We were pleasantly surprised! Nice job. We ordered our food to go to can't speak to the ambience other than there are lots of smaller rooms since it used to be a dentist office. We went back a second time and the food and service were great again. This time the server didn't bring our food out to us on the patio. That would have been a nice touch. The first day the owner did bring our food out to us, this time the server just told us it was ready. Other than that it was another great breakfast, and my pup got scrambled eggs two days in a row. She was in heaven, she usually gets scrambled eggs once a week. I woman, I think one of the owners, came out to great us and say hi to our pup both days. Had a nice conversation with her both times and my pup loved the extra attention. read more

The food was absolutely amazing. The pancakes are the best Ive ever had. Absolutely worth a stop in. Our server Kaylee was absolutely amazing she came by and made sure we had full drinks and brought our food and drinks out quickly despite us being a party of six! We were able to easily split up the bill and pay for our individual plates separately at their supper convenient check out counter. It feels homey and cozy with the segmented dining areas I didn't feel overwhelmed or crowded by other people at all. I sincerely hope to come back soon! Not 100% sure about the service here but the owner's (or someone high up) son did come outside specifically to threaten me and call my wheelchair bound child retarded. So idk...seems like not the kind of family values I would want in a buisness to give patronage to. To earn that by the way....I told him to pen up his dogs that ran up to us snarling on the sidewalk, while they didn't actually leave the driveway they were about 2 feet away and they were in the neighbors yard so they definitely were not contained responsibly. read more

We drove here from out of town to stay near Mammoth Cave and saw PJs Cafe on the map. We were super hungry when we arrived and PJs definitely hit the spot! The service was lovely, our waitress was friendly and helpful. The menu was pretty big, we ended up ordering the Diamond Cavern and club sandwich with a cinnamon roll on the side. We also ordered vanilla lattes--which were delicious!!! And maybe it's because we are not from KY but prices were really, really nice. I felt like we got a great value for our dollar!! My cinnamon roll was big and tasted great. The Diamond Cavern was super filling, even just the pancake included was huge in itself. My sandwich was also delicious! Excellent breakfast!! Our group had eggs bacon biscuits and gravy, hash-browns & pancakes- all was excellent! Kids even had lunch items and they were ok with serving that. They were so busy so it took awhile but not too long but not a place if you're in a hurry! Homey atmosphere. We didn't think we'd find a table for all of us but we wondered further in & found more rooms. A gentleman eating alone gave up his table so we could all be near each other. read more
