Dark roast with almond milk and sugarfree white chocolate flav

Always stop by this place when I'm in town. The service is kind and patient the ambiance and music is clutch. The coffee is top notch. My friends love the beignets.

Placed an order to-go via DoorDash for iced white mocha, lemonade, and a 3-pk beignet. Order wasn't ready upon arrival. Zero acknowledgment by the 3 associates working there. Coffee was lukewarm and didn't have much ice. It was also very bitter. The lemonade had too much ice so a large cup was finished in only a few sips. The beignets were warm and fluffy but tasted doughy and underbaked in the middle. The inside had several different kinds of seatings. Outside seats were available too albeit without shades. Parking was free and store wasn't overcrowded. I wouldn't mind revisiting if in the area again but wouldn't go out of my way just to go there. Still a good Starbucks alternative.

Dare I say better than Starbucks? The coffee is fresh, rich, and comes in various flavors. I got the caramel velvet ice drink which is adjacent to a frappuccino. The drink was flavorful, creamy, and smooth. I really enjoy the ambience of the restaurant which is NewOrleans-themed. They also sell delicious beignets-- a NewOrleans staple. The coffee shop has New Orlean's jazz playing throughout the restaurant which sets the tone for a fun lighthearted chat. Customer service is also great and the order's typically come out pretty quickly. There is also an option to order online and pickup your order at the to-go station. Looking for a local coffee shop to chat or catch up on some light work, then I'm sure you'll really enjoy PJs Coffee!

I was able to try their iced Southern Wedding Cake latte and I'll be back to get that again. Wow, that's truly amazing. I was greeted warmly at the counter and the barista explained what was all in the drink. The store was cleaned and not busy at the time. They have plenty of seating to do work. However, they do play music.

I really enjoy this coffee shop. The staff is friendly, the beignets are very delicious. I had an iced latte that was very good. The shop is really nice. If I'm ever in the area again, I will stop by.

Their vegan oatmeal cookie tastes like your grandma's famous fresh baked cookies. It's so good, you won't even dare to think that it's vegan, because it tastes delicious. However, the iced matcha latte needs room for improvement. Apparently, they scale their liquid amounts to the ounce size of the cup. So, if you request a drink with ice, your drink will be filled to the top of the cup. If you order your drink without ice, your drink will be filled to the amount size you ordered for. I ordered a iced matcha latte with light ice. That's why the drink depicted looks like it's half gone already. Honestly, I didn't like that concept. Should they go by the ounce size ordered, then the liquid amount ordered should fill the cup up entirely. Not half way liquid and the other half unfilled.

WOW! Completely impressed by everything && everyone! I LOVE BEIGNETS && was coming in as a hard critic because I just didn't think it was possible for someone to make them so good and OMG I wish we brought some home! Its quiet inside with music playing. The vibes give you a coffee shop in NOLA. Folks were in there working as we just stopped by for coffee and beignets. I can't wait to revisit and happy to learn they have one in Alexandria as well! THANK YOU FOR THE GOODNESS YOU BRING!

I luv this place! Beignets are the best! I just adore the atmosphere with the friendliest environment! This is truly a happy place! The owners are down to earth and genuine! Customer service is amazing!

A little slice of New Orleans in Maryland...! I need more of this in my life! The coffee and beignets bring me back to NOLA, even though we're many miles away. My biscuit sandwich looks like it was going to be all biscuit and no filling, but it was all hidden well. It tasted great too! The beignets were a mix of puffy and too dense. That could have been due to the oil being recently changed though. Too much sugar as well, but that's technically authentic! LOL The coffee was the real winner. My iced chicory coffee was delicious, just the right bitterness, full of flavor. The café au laît was also well made and tasty. Overall, while true aficionados will argue the finer details, it hit a home run for me.

Walked in was greeted and ordered was taken right away! There wasn't anyone ahead of me so my order was made fast and I was back out the door.

This is such a nice option if you're looking for a good drink & something to eat. We stopped in for beignets and something hot to drink and were not disappointed. If I'd gone earlier on a less rainy and cold day, I would've loved to try their red Bull drinks but today was not it for that. My honey oat milk latte hit the spot. The staff were friendly and willing to give us our drinks while we waited on the beignets, which I appreciated. The beignets didn't take much longer. This location is kind of tucked away in a strip mall shopping center in a relatively quiet area.

Then I saw the woman who came after me, got her drink after me. I was like, order for Shelly? Yet these employees want a tip each time you pay? The drink wasn't in a marked Aunt TeaBoba. It was in a plain plastic cup. No decorations or anything. The drink itself was awful. Didn't even taste like tiramisu. Completely watered down & looked nothing like the poster. Highly doubtful that I'll return. Bad service and product.

The gumbo style soup is one of the best soups I ever tasted... it's bursting with flavor and fulfilling on every level. Get the breakfast platter with plantains, scrambled eggs, chorizo (sausage), refried beans, crema (similar to a milder, sweeter sour cream) and queso fresco (dry, salty squares of cheese). There are 3 variations on this breakfast platter, served all day here. You did not visit Flor Blanca until you eat one of their breakfast platters, shown in photos on the special breakfast menu. And, the rich coffee - to go with it - is definitely a thing here. 2.) Get the soft banana pudding bread (I don't know what they call it but it's the only dessert with a golden top that looks like a square slice of bread pudding.) Heat it up at home. It's tender and mild. Don't pour rum on top of this bread pudding because you may not be the same, afterward. And you will end up wanting more. 3.) Get the plain tamales and make sure to buy extra crema. You cannot find homemade tamales just anywhere outside of holidays. These tamales are so good. Meow meow meow meow. Listen, there is a lot of good food here. I love the plain white rice as it is seasoned well. So when it is served with an entree I sometimes get another side order to take home. The horchata drink was an early afternoon ritual for me, at times, along with the heated banana bread pudding. (If anyone knows what this is called I'll update the description.) People live to go in-and-out just to pick up a red tray and fill it up with pastries to go. Tempting! The cakes are moist and the cake pops are delicious. I love the mango tres leches cake here. And you can get a large, professional cake baked. There is a whole catalog of special event cake designs to choose from. Even though they close at 8pm, most people eat here much earlier, as I've seen and seem to finish before 7. I used to come here when no English was spoken at the counter. You could say the food names by navigating and pointing to the menu photos. It was like you were in a completely different country. Now, a few years later, all of the staff can speak to you. Either way, they were patient with me and my broken Spanglish. I really like the team, here. We have been here en la noche (night) - eating late and enjoying the food - and they have always been gracious and helpful. Just ask them what the most popular dish for that time of day you are there. I'm learning that we need to come earlier and take our food to go if it's after 7ish because otherwise we are sitting alone. There are so many menu items I didn't touch on which I've enjoyed, but do not miss the first 3! #localtastebyjenny
