Well, they do nails, so that's a plus! They are also very moderately priced, another great plus! Is it the best nail shop I've ever been to? No, not at all. However, everybody was very nice and I was able to get service pretty promptly. That being said, there were only 3 people working on a Saturday at 1pm and by the time I left, there were 4 people waiting. One of the best pedicure I've gotten. They consider everything from the condition of your foot to the shape of your nails and how you like them. They are reasonably priced which is a huge plus especially if you're a college student. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want a pedicure. The atmosphere is relaxing. I want to comment on the woman who complained about not wanting to pay. I Was there that day and she was completely disrespectful! She Ran out the door like a crazy person saying she didn't want to pay the cops had to be called on her she locked the owner out of his own Establishment. What does that say about that person's character and reviews. I've been coming to the salon since I moved here a year and a half ago. It is the most friendly atmosphere of any salon I've ever been. The ladies in here do fantastic work!!! I came in for a gel mani and spa pedi a week ago and my nails still look just as good. No chipping or falling off while being at the beach even. They weren't pushy about upgrading as they respected when I politely declined those services. The pricing is comparable if not cheaper than other places I've been to with better quality. read more

Avoid! Went yesterday for a mani/pedi. The guy did my nails. Really not trying to sound catty here- but if you're a manicurist and people are going to be close to your hands all day, a safe bet would be to have clean hands- not the case here. I really wanted to leave but didn't want to hurt his feelings. He started over on my manicure 3 times. The first time, he did 3 thick coats of polish and was constantly pouring thinner into the polish bottle. When he was done the first time, I told him I wasn't happy with it- it was so streaky. He said "yeah I know this polish is horrible" then he went and got a bottle of Opi and did another coat over the 3 he'd already done. It looked horrible. He left as my nails were drying. I showed my nails to one of the ladies- she said that he was in a rush- that's why he didn't do a good job. First, she tried to just paint over again all the coats. Then she took it all of and redid it- it looks better. People say it's good for the price... not really when you consider you're going to go somewhere else to have them redone. Not pleased with how my nails turned out. I have been to this salon before and not had a great experience. This trip, I got a pink color for my nails and asked for both pink and glitter on each index finger. They painted the index finger with just glitter and no pink. I told them I preferred it to be pink with glitter and asked them to fix it and instead of fixing it they told me it would look trashy and not to do it. I was obviously not happy but I went along with it anyways. The attendant was listening to Vietnamese music really loud on his IPad. You will be very satisfied with the quality of work that is provided at PL Nails..I had visited other nail shops before coming here and had horrible experiences the work was not good and some of the employees were rude. I will not be returning here. My nails were rushed and overall look horrible. At one point the manicurist was so busy talking and rushing to finish they filed a hole into my finger, then rather than taking care or aiding the sore they just quickly put some blue substance on it which stung. All my nails are different shapes and different lengths. I wanted SNS and there were no color fans available, the powder is still visible on the nail and it does not rest against the cuticle properly. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! First off I called Sunday to make two appointments, we show up for appointments and noticed that there is only two staff members working, and they both had clients . They promptly stopped working on the other girls nails and sat us down leaving the other girl unattended halfway through her service. I asked for ombré SNS and brought a photo. The work that was done on my nails was honestly unacceptable and just messy. It looked like the polish was just messily applied and not blended at all. The polish was dripping and looked like a child applied it. The man who did my nails said he was so unhappy with how they looked he offered for me to come back and have them redone. In the mean time the other person I came with had been sitting for over 30 minutes with her hands in acetone waiting for her polish to be removed . I ended up paying full price and gave a tip even though I left completely unhappy and the nail tech knew it. The thing that upset me the most was this was my one day off to have a "girls day" since I had my newborn baby, and I was disappointed that the nails I was paying 40+ $ for were not up to par and I will not be coming back here ever again. read more

I purchased a "$52 value gel mani & pedi" @ $31 via groupon for my first/only visit here: When I arrived for my appointment, after choosing a gel color, they explained only the manicure was gel polish & "groupon worded it wrong" to sound like both included gel polish, so I'm thinking $31- fine. The manicure & pedicure were mediocre at best. Both the scrubbing & massage for my pedi was very swift. I'd never been to a place that has you dunk your fingertips in acetone to remove current gel polish, opposed to wrapping individually with cotton/ foil. During my services, I overheard another patron being told a gel manicure was $25 & regular pedicure was $17 ($42)!? After redeeming my groupon I was told I owed $10 for the removal of my previous gel polish!? Upon questioning I was told: "you know you have to pay anywhere you go to remove gel polish" (No, I've never had to pay this anywhere else). #stressdisaster read more
