Sat at the bar. Heard bartender complaining about coming in on his day off to cover for someone that didn't show up for work. Kitchen got our order wrong (2 hamburgers). Heard bartender criticizing waitress for the way she writes up the orders as the reason it was wrong. To his credit, he did not charge us for the wrong burger. This dive bar was just what you would expect. Dark inside with the decor a bit overwhelming. All my friends burgers they said were really good- -and that's great to hear considering the sign out front says they have the best burgers in town. However the fish and chips tasted good, but were nothing special. We tried order a Grape Knee-Nigh ( Radar's from M*A*S*H -favorite drink) as well as a Mojito, but because the bar does not carry Chambord or mint, we got neither. The bartender offered a Cadillac Margarita, and said she was known for hers. It was good, but I would not rate it the best. The onion rings were ok but they probably would have been better right out the fryer. The place was clean and did not smell bad. The staff was friendly. I could not believe how many people were drinking at noon on a Saturday though. I'd like to come back and try out their other menu items. read more

Lived around here for 12 years and had never been in until a couple of friends who hadn't been in in awhile suggested we go check it out. The quality of service is what makes or breaks little dive bars like this and from the moment we walked in, the bartender(some guy with a blonde poodle cut) could not have possibly been any ruder. Not very inviting or helpful and seemed very annoyed with us as we were asking questions about the different vodkas they had available. It wasn't that he was busy or anything. I was a Sunday night and there were less than a dozen people in the place. He was just a major douche and has no business being in the service industry with that kind of attitude and from the other reviews I've read on here it seems its pretty prevalent with most of the wait staff. The only real historical landmark in the whole area is this bar. I think it has been there since 1966 or something like that...which is awesome in my book in this day of strip malls and generic crap. It's nothing fancy, and as far as I'm concerned, that is what makes it really cool. Unless you count a Giant Piranha tank as cool lolol. You go in, you get drunk, you get the munchies and order from a kitchen that makes decent bar grub....you leave happy:) Always been treated well any time we've gone in there. Best part? It's walking distance from my house, so if I feel like stumbling my happy ass outta there, I can do just that with no fear of driving while drunk and gettin; popped for it. read more

Okay... This place is not something I would stop for unless I had a lot of time on my hands. The waitress/bartender seems like a no no earns type of girl. Be warned they only take Washington state ID if your younger then 30. They won't take vertical and or military IDs. Why this is no clue. But what ever. Drinks- okay... Just normal things on tap. Price is what it is.... I won't stop for their drinks... Food-- standard bar food. If you can fry it then they had it.... Price?! Way to high for what you get.... Also, asked for pretzel bights.... The place is old, since it has been there for a very long time, but food is good. Went there on St. Patrick's evening, felt the waitress was either too busy or had a bad mood that night. Great stop near our air B and B. Nice atmosphere. Not super busy on a thurs night. Fast drink service. Older crowd which is great, no college kids. Extremely fast service. Normal sized portions for an affordable price. I got chicken wings: moist, tender and tasty. My date ordered the fireball burger. Very tasty and well cooked crinkle fries. My Wife and I went to dinner last night at Pla-Mor Bar & Grill having passed by this dive bar for 20 years and I am kicking myself for driving by for so many years and not stopping. The food is EXCEPTIONAL, OUTSTANDING. We will certainly be back. And yes they are OPEN during COVID, there is no indoor dining and some limited outdoor dining, so most is pick up only. read more

We waited for more than SIXTY MINUTES for two burgers, went in at 6pm ordered at 615pm and got the order at 720pm. No one even apologized, and the french fries were old, the burgers were nothing extraordinary, and will not go back bc customer service is nonexistent here. Worst service ever!!!!! Bartender had only 5 people sitting at bar and 3 playing pool at 12:30 Friday night. We had to wait for her to finish talking to her friends before we got our drinks. We bought pull tabs and wanted to get more with our winners but she was no where to be found so instead of getting more OR giving them to her for a tip, we ripped the winners in half and left them on the table. Bartender was outside smoking and left the bar unattended for at least 10 minutes! I hope the owner reads this! We will NEVER go back again. read more

This bar may be a good one, but I'll never patronize it. My daughter went in to wait for a ride (she's 24). The owner (1st bartender) stated that she wouldn't serve her alcohol because they didn't accept out of state ID under 30...again, this is acceptable. My daughter then said "Ok, may I order something to eat and a glass of water?" Sure! :) Shift change then took place and the new bartender was notified that my daughter was not to be served alcohol....again very acceptable. The problem I have is this. My daughter was kind and accepting of the circumstances, however the new bartender was a snot and had no clue what customer service is. After eating, my daughter paid for her $11.00 sandwich with a $20 and gave the 1st bartender the change....a $9 tip. While waiting for her ride (me, I was almost 2hrs away) my daughter sat with a glass of water. The (2nd) bartender ignored her, blatantly so, and when she did finally bring her water, slammed it down in front of her, splashing water on the bar. When she asked for the manager, the bartender got snotty and threw her out. My daughter has worked tables as a waitress...she realizes the importance of tips. Had this snotty woman been kind and refilled her water with a smile, my daughter would have probably left her a $10 for her trouble. I do want to thank the owner (1st bartender) for her kindness, and great customer service. But I'll also reccomend. If the owner is serving, this is a great bar. If not, steer clear. I have driven past the Pla-Mor for years, but had never stopped in until yesterday. My only regret is that it took me so long to do it! Their food was delicious - we ordered a burger dip and a club sandwich that each came with the most delicious fries I've ever tasted! And I have very high standards for my fries! ;) We sat up at the bar counter and had a front row seat to the bartender Layla needing to deal with a large group that had some troublemakers in it. She was entirely professional through it all, while she kept control of the situation. We were very happy with our experience and will definitely be back! read more

Daniel below pegged it on the nose. Very unwelcoming if it's your first time. The bartender was very rude and unpleasant. I have an out of state license (Nevada actually where they scrutinize ids to no ends at some places) but because I'm under 30, they don't accept out of state licenses under 30? Last I checked the drinking age is 21. Anyway, moving on, my boyfriend later walks to the bar himself later. The same waitress checks his id as soon as he came in, but then putts around with some regulars. He waits to get his order in and orders a beer and a shot. As she walks by, he asks if he can asks her some questions but she rudely states she's too busy! This is a dive bar and by no means was it even considered full. She comes back later and says what's your questions?! Taken aback about her abrupt tone, he asks politely about the under 30 policy. She says she doesn't know, it's company policy! Not a very good employee to not even know why a policy exist. Other bars in different states have a similar policy because bartenders don't necessary recognize out of state license (thank you google) but they allow passports. I had asked him to see if passports were acceptable, but he didn't even get to that question. After the first question, she rudely asks if he was driving or walking. He states we live across the street. She, still in an awful tone, tells him that's not answering her question and she thinks he's had enough and she's ringing him up! After a beer and a shot. And if u're thinking, maybe he was being a jerk or maybe he was inebriated. I can assure you he wasn't and he's real friendly to waiters and bartenders. Unacceptable on service and attitude. I understand bartenders are nicer to regulars and they have to be tough on drunks, but customers are customers. Drive a little further to the next bar if you've never been here. No point stopping by to be treated unkindly here. read more

The burger was so delicious I called my room mate and told her she needed to be on her way over because I had gone ahead and ordered one for her!
