I guess the Place on 7th is a place that will hold a special memory for me for the rest of my life, since this is where I got married in October. My (now) wife wanted to get married downtown since it seemed the most fun place to have our friends and family visit (we are locals) and the Place on 7th was the winner of our "look at a bunch of venues, panic, and then pick one" award and I'm glad we went with it. The venue itself is pretty dang massive offering tons of space both inside and out, allowing us to have tables inside for food and our guests to sit and the outside open for the ceremony, dancing, and lounging on the big comfy couches towards the back. Our ceremony was at 6PM and everything that went wrong was NOT the venues fault, so I'm going to give this place a big thumbs up for doing everything they were supposed too do well (I can't say the same for the DJ who was not affiliate with the venue). The venue was spacious and well decorated, the bartenders and staff were quick to clean up, serve food, and were very easy to deal with, and this venue truly made for a perfect night. Overall, Place on 7th was the perfect place for us to get married. I'll be moving away from Las Vegas in the next year, but since downtown is the place to be, I'll be walking by this venue for the rest of my life and remembering the good memories i had inside, so thanks for simply existing guys. read more

Always a great time at Drag Queen Bingo! Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday. Ball drops at 6:30PM. Bring cash to tip the performers because there will be around 7-10 performances where they go around the venue singing the latest and greatest hits in gorgeous costumes! During one of the nightly Punk Rock Bowling concerts Carmen helped us immensely. Her customer service was outstanding and we are so thankful and appreciative of her assistance. Not sure what this place is for, but it's a great space. I came here for the Downtown Lowdown which is the bi-monthly, bi-quarterly, bi... well it happens every now and then. Anyway, at these meetings you basically learn what's going down in DTLV in the next few months. This time around it was held at the, "Place on 7th" which is an event space for possible birthday parties or off site office soirees. The look here is a backyard, but with a full stage, full bar, and some cornhole setups. Almost like a mini Gold Spike minus the loud music and loud attendees. It's cool place and great area for future Yelp parties, who knows. If you have a chance to come by, do it, it's definitely worth checking out. read more

If you need to have an event, I promise you that you won't be disappointed with Place on 7th. We had our wedding here this last weekend and it was FANTASTIC! First, the planning process is so easy. Between Michelle, Lori, & Edith, they are so helpful and make everything so much easier. They were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. And on the day of the wedding, they went above and beyond! Second, it's an indoor/outdoor space. So you really get your bang for your buck. The lighting at night outside is beautiful. And the setup inside is so modern and spacious. I can't begin to tell you how many compliments we received from friends and family about this space. And they do a great job at "hiding" it from people walking by with beautiful greenery. 5+ stars. I wish I could get married all over again to come back! read more

While we never got to actually experience having our wedding at the Place on 7th because of covid-19 restrictions. I wanted to leave a review about the process and wonderful customer service we received. We initially worked with Laurie with reserving our date and beginning the planning process. Michelle eventually took over with us and was absolutely wonderful. She made sure to ask all the right questions to make sure our wedding was going to be exactly as we wanted it to be. They were easy to communicate with. We did unfortunately have to cancel our reservation due to covid, but I absolutely will recommend them to anyone looking for a fun event space/ venue once we are able to safely gather again!! read more

Went to Drag Bingo this week. I was very surprised! I don't know what I was expecting. I mean tickets were free after all. The Place on 7th is very trendy. Reminded me of places Id go in NY. not as crowded and much cleaner. The drinks were great! and the entertainment did not disappoint! Friendly inviting staff. The service was what you would expect in a high end establishment. Id love to see some bands there plenty of dance space and with the patio too! And Damn! the pizza was good! I had my wedding here on May 4, 2019. It was INCREDIBLE. The setup for the ceremony was beautiful. The stage/dance area was awesome, and everyone raved about the big games and options to sit and chat. The food was great, and service even better. All the servers were all smiles all the time. We booked the space about 1 year prior. Michelle was our point of contact, and was responsive over email to our questions (a few days lag time due to other commitments which was perfect for the amount of time we had). Closer to the date even more so. She gave me options and was my back and forth for decisions (I did not have a wedding coordinator). Michelle was the day of front man, and I didn't have to worry about anything venue related. She ensured my flowers and garland were set out, the venue was in the right configuration, and she also made sure everything was on schedule according to my timeline. I felt super comfortable flexing the schedule as needed. We came to the venue 4 times during the year prior to the wedding. We did a food tasting, and even attended Drag Bingo here to get a feel for the environment. Our friends and family LOVED it. We did a non-traditional/traditional wedding minus all the stuff people don't like (garter toss, etc). We had a live band and Elvis and everyone worked incredible as a team which made for an incredible night. I 100% recommend the Place on 7th for any type of event where you want people to be able to relax, dance, party, play games all night etc! read more

I went to an event to celebrate my birthday. I had a ball and the drinks were reasonable for sure. Not a lot of seating and I didn't know if it was for this event or in general. Downtown parking is getting harder but what can you say...good luck but I had a blast! I definitely recommend and shall return. read more

Nice open space for parties and gatherings. Like a low-key behind the scenes place. I came here before during life is beautiful and it was awesome. Tonight was a fundraiser event with live music and your typical giant games for big kids. They have open gender bathrooms and a small bar with food options. Decent place if you want to hold a company event! Bartenders are heavy handed on the drinks so you get your money's worth! read more

This is just a venue. While I saw a SNHD food establishment permit, I am not sure what they are serving. (Bar, perhaps?) For the event I was attending, the food was catered in by the Market. The tables and chairs were nice. The outside venue was too cold for January, but due to how dark it was, someone kept opening the doors to the outside. Then it was freezing in the venue. Odd, but interesting place. I bet it would be nice in the spring/fall. read more

I've been here a few times now for the first friday country music. The place on 7th is setup with two areas, the inside bar and an outside area. The outside has a stage and is great for dancing. The bartenders and manager are very nice and professional. They have what smells like some great bb-q and pizzas outside, there is a new wood fired oven and I look forward to trying the food! read more

I have reached out to this venue numerous times. I submitted 2 inquired through there site. No response. I called twice, around 4/15/2019 still no respond. Being that I still liked the venue I messaged them through Facebook on 4/20/2019 and finally got some answer telling me to email a certain email address. So I expressed my concerns with the person that was writing me Facebook and they told me to email the email address again so I emailed them. I got a response quickly which was surprising and she sent me a list of questions she needed answered. So I sent the answers back. Then I was back at the beginning. Never got a response back. I emailed them again to see if they got my email. AGAIN no response. Thank god I found a different venue. read more

Paid $2 for parking on curbside, upon entering there is just such a great smell to this building! The smell is so fresh and new it kind of reminded me of the eclipse theatre for a second. This space is a perfect spot for holding meetings. read more

I understand that Vegas is loud late at night, but this place is a block away from my hotel and I had to listen to rave music so loud that it sounded like I was in their bathroom. They need to respect the surrounding businesses and their paying customers. I will never step foot in this place. read more

Mind blown. This place is such a wonderful space and the staff were AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAZING! Plus the bar has ginger beer which makes me happy. I didn't help plan anything, but it sounded like administration was easy to deal with. So thankful to have had such a great location for such a great event. read more

This is a limited review since I did not actually plan the events, many of the details (price, interactions with staff, etc.) are unknown to me. I came here for a graduation party for my school and the space was great. It was clear that there is a lot of flexibility here as far as set-up, and they could easily accommodate fewer or more tables/chairs that you needed. We had food brought in (though not sure from where) and basic bar service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The outside space was great as well. We had the outdoor games brought over from Gold Spike. The high walls created some privacy form the random tourists walking down the street, but left the air open to enjoy the incredible weather that evening. There was also a very large stage set-up outside, which could easily fit a large band, so that is an option for people/events as well. The bathrooms inside were clean and surprisingly large for a space of this nature. Again, that's about as helpful as I can be as I do not know what services were arranged through the venue and what services were outside, but if you're looking for a cool space downtown, I'd strongly recommend this one! read more
