This store is HUGE, especially its men's section, which is often the forgotten part of the store. Not here. I'll note that they had very few suits when I visited, which was a bummer, but tons of shirts, pants, and everything else you would need. Unlike jampacked stores where you can't breathe, here I was often the only person in my aisle and could easily try clothes on without issue. There are only two reasons why I'm not giving five stars. The first of those is that there aren't very many fitting rooms (four, I believe), so I ended up waiting about 10 minutes to get one because there were people trying on seemingly entirely racks of clothing. The second is that the organization of sizes was good but far from impeccable, so you ended up having to look through more items than you'd like. All in all, this is a really good store I'll visit again. read more

First off, as others have written, this thrift store's clothing section is very well organized. Clothes are grouped by style. Pricing that I saw was pretty uniform: all pants are $6.00; jeans are $7.00. However I wasn't here for clothing. I was interested in housewares. In summary, I feel items in this area are way overpriced. Simple wine glasses are $4.00. I saw one coupe-style glass and it was $3-something. I would have bought it if it was $1.00, like Goodwill prices their items. There were many other things that I also thought were overpriced too. So guess where I headed about a mile away when I left? Goodwill. And I got my stemware for $0.99. read more

This is one of the most organized thrift stores I've ever been in. And it was upon entering, I remembered that hey, Planet Aid is the non profit that has those big bins where you can donate your clothes and what not around the county. Apparently, according to Wikipedia they are a legit charity as well, "BBB Wise Giving Alliance (WGA) lists Planet Aid as an accredited charity, stating that as of January 2020 Planet Aid fulfills its 20 standards for charity accountability." So, what struck me is how organized the store is. The clothing section is somewhat rainbow-ized. It's quite pretty. I was trying to get a good picture... but I totally didn't. I need to come back with a better camera. But anyways, I roamed around the store, mainly going to the appliances/ hard wares section (frames/pots pans/ baskets etc.). Most of the stuff was reasonably priced, but what was great was that everything was priced. The gentleman that helped me at the front was super nice too. He welcomed me when I came into the store. Definitely gonna stop by here a little more often. I ended up picking up a vintage clock that looks to be mid century ( but I think was designed to look like that and done in the 80's or 90's). It's a cute little clock though and I wound it and it works. Definitely would recommend. read more

I love thrift shopping! This will be my favorite store. The store is located near Moms, they have their own parking. Its very organized. A little dusty, my nose could not stop twitching. Hand sanitizer located in front of the store, which will come in handy. The only reason why this is not a 5 store review, is because a lot of their items are expensive for it being used and donated. However, I was able to find some brand new items at a bargain. I found a brand new Adidas Cool climate track pants for $8, these pants normally run about $40. They carry a lot of name brand stuff for the whole family. In the back of the store you can find nice household items. They have nice handbags, and shoes too. All of their high priced items that are located behind the register, They have plenty of Michael Kors bags. I found a nice Coach bag for $12. All the employees I encountered were very friendly. They have plenty of yellow bins all over the county for people to donate. Ill def will visit this place more. read more

I didn't even know this store existed! I've been to several thrift stores around MOCO and was excited to check out a new one. Based out the outside this place is huge!I stopped by mid day on a Thursday and there were plenty of people inside. I found it confusing who was staff and who was shopping but that's not really important. As I suspected the store was large and filled with clothing and household goods. I only browsed a couple of racks before leaving because the prices were really high. Some sweatshirts were still $15/$20 but that's about what you'll pay up in Clarksburg at the outlet mall. In comparison to nearby thrift stores I definitely think this is one of the most expensive ones. There's obviously the environmental aspect of shopping at a thrift store Vs. buying new and I totally appreciate that and try to do it as much as possible...which counts for something. In reality I don't see myself coming back. There was no greeting, things seemed pricier and there's other options in the area. If you have some time to kill I could see stopping in but if your looking to save money on something specific maybe not. read more

I had some spare time yesterday and desperately in need of new jeans. I went in and was pleasantly surprised. I was able to get a pair of Hudson jeans for 12.00. Admittedly, in any other thrift store it would have been slightly cheaper. I also noticed certain sections (tops) were organized by color AND size. I also found an adorable pair of vintage heels for 8.00. The dressing rooms were also open and very clean. There was handsantizer right outside. The downside was that not all sections were organized - including the jeans. I would have walked out with more jeans if I didn't have too dig for my size. I also echo my first review 12.00 for designer jeans completely understand but 12.00 for forever 21, nope. The store is full of forever 21 and h&m which again fine if that is your thing but def not mine. I also found that you really have to dig for vintage finds - other thrift stores not so much. But sometimes, like today, you just need a shop with modern jeans that won't break the bank. read more

They had a very extensive supply of clothing, shoes, and handbags. I was impressed at the amount of clothing merch they had. Housewares (kitchen, glassware, etc.) were rather minimal though I did find a couple of kitchen tools to take home. For thrifted clothing I'd def come here but for dishes and ceramics I'd probably hit somewhere else first. Each week they offer a 30% discount of a certain color tag---and that makes "the hunt" even more fun. The store is a former designer fabric store; therefore, it has well-lit and pleasant. They even have 5 dressing rooms so that you can ensure that the clothing you buy will fit. Additionally, they have large bins outside the store where you can recycle your castaways so that they can become someone else's "find." More importantly, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Every time I'm in the area, I make a point of coming to this thrift store. The store is clean and all the clothes and shoes are well-organized. I personally like how everything is organized by color as it allows you to zero in on the styles and colors you like while keeping the fun of thrifting. The quality of clothes at this store is pretty good. Most of the items I looked at were in good condition, and some were even new with tags. Like any secondhand shopping experience, be sure to check any items you plan on buying for any holes, stains, etc., but items with flaws like these were not common. The only real con I have is that since most of the styles have a flat price (i.e. all tank tops are $5 unless marked otherwise), you are paying the same price regardless of brand. Most of the brands I've seen in store like Michael Khors, Nike, Calvin Klein, etc. are reasonably priced for their quality, but for some of the cheaper brands like Target and Forever 21, it's a bit expensive for secondhand. Me and my brother went to this store after the gym to take a look and we didn't find anything we liked so we decided to leave and when I was leaving one of the workers accused me of stealing my duffle bag that I had brought to the gym. I really must leave my wallet in the car or only come here once every blue moon, because I lose self control every time I come in here. Pros: women's clothing selection. They have a huge selection of pants, dresses, sweaters, blazers, shirts, etc. that is amazing. The clothing never has gross smells or stains (well I should say minimal stains) and the pricing is fair. Mixed review on the show selection: There's also plentiful women's shoes. I will say the shoe selection isn't as dope as the clothing. Seems like there's always a ton of shoes but it's always the same old shoes there. I guess shoes aren't a highly donated item in this area? Purses and accessories: tons. Make yourself at home because not only are there a lot to choose from, but they have designer brands in the cheap section and the purses behind the counter are well priced. It also doesn't have that "thrift store smell" in here either. Cons: The home section is small and doesn't have a lot to pick from. I was so disappointed. My mother, sister and I went for opening day. We were expecting this location to be close to what we were used when they were in Catonsville, MD. I wanted the 45 minute ride to be worth it, but it wasn't. We were in shocked with their high prices. There were some quality items but if I'm going to pay those type of prices, it has to be new. We came and saw but we won't be taking that drive again. My sister was a duffle bag for her boys. It didn't have a price. One of the employees went to inquire and came back with a quote of $35. Say what? We figured maybe their rent is higher, therefore, their prices had to reflect such. Sorry Planet Aid, I can not support you. We got in at 6:15pm. Every employee from then on harrassed us and others warning they're about to close. All resources, (Apple Maps, Yelp and their main website) say they close 7pm. Then they bullshit you and say they close actually 6:30, half hour before closing just so they can get out by 7. That's now how a business works. If it says 7, you stay open until 7pm! Go figure. Then you do closing duties. Stop the bullshit and update your hours correctly. You do not kick customers out 1/2 hour before closing! Poor business . read more

Today was my first time visiting the store as I was getting bubble tea in the area. The sticker price shock: most of the designer clothes and shoes are $100 and up with some shoes $400 and up. A pair of broken boots was priced at $450!!! These clothes are used and it's not Neiman Marcus. The store has no discounts like other thrift stores in the area. I am not sure who they are targeting at $400 for used shoes but better prices could be found on Ebay, the real real, Poshmark, etc. Very shocking indeed... plus some of this merchandise is not authentic! My daughter and I went in on a Thursday around 2:00. Plenty of free parking. Beautifully laid out color coordination to the max. Unfortunately, the clothes are grouped by colors not sizes or seasons. XS - XXXXL all mush moshed in together. Sign on rack says all shorts $5.00 but some are tagged at $8 and higher. This is repeated through the clothing department. House ware department is selling dollar store items at $3.98. There were also some very nice items marked at a fair price. No consistency. There are treasures in there I am sure...just too confusing for me. read more

The people were very rude and stared at us also upon paying my card was declined and she told me i had an hour to pay for my stuff so i went and got cash and went back and the next day it shows up on my bank that they charged my card and i called them and they said there wasn't anything they could do and we're very short and angry on the phone and gave me lots of attitude.
