I find it upsetting and unprofessional for the worker on duty to completely ignore the arrival of a customer, and then throw a thumbs up at me after scanning my check in. I was incredibly shocked by the amount of black mold growing in the locker room as well. upon leaving, I was once again ignored by the main worker at the counter, but was given a goodbye from who I believe may have been a partner, or co worker. My visit here overall was mediocre but the black mold is probably the biggest issue I had seen during my time there. I think it's something that needs to be taken care of sooner, rather than later because the more it goes, the more it grows. read more

It's a large gym with plenty of parking. $1 for a day pass but I think you need shower tokens if you need to shower. Clean and plenty of machines. Bring your own yoga mat it seemed like they only had four. It was pretty crowded also. read more

TIP: Planet Fitness has a Membership level that lets you bring guests unlimited times. Go check them out with a friend before you decide! My wife got a membership here and I went with her for 3 weeks as a guest before I decided to join. It was worth it to be able to go on my own schedule. Being able to go as a guest is the only reason I became a customer. This is the cleanest, most well maintained gym I've seen in a while and the staff have all been friendly. I've never been to a gym before and so this is my first. It's too hot to be doing my walks outside in the summer heat so I just signed up for their $10 a month deal and if you want a hands off kind of experience this place is it. I never received a tour so I did it myself. There's hardly anyone at the front desk when I come in at different times of the day and so I just get on my station and do my thing. It's a little unnerving for some who want to have an interactive experience and not get it and I can see that being an issue here but for me personally I don't care. I'm not using their other services really so I just show up and do my thing in the very nice air conditioning. There's a long line of tvs for you to stare at with everything playing from kid shows to news. It's about as clean as a gym could be. I see people wipe down their equipment before and after use which is nice. Bring your own towel because I don't think they're provided. I would ask but there's no one at the desk when I come in. There was one person and that was Noah who got me signed in my first visit. He was feeling under the weather so I guess if that was my one time to get that interactive experience the commercials like you to think you're gonna get well.. life happens and I just go in and work out. Honestly what's the point of signing up when you can probably just walk in for free? No one checks you for your card.. no one bothers you. It's nice because I don't want to be bothered but maybe for some they might be bothered. Just my experience so far coming to this gym. I've only been 4 times after today. I like it, but I wouldn't pay more than the basic low low price for what's offered. The treadmills are nice and not beaten up looking. Clean bathrooms and locker rooms, clean water station. Bring your headphones if you don't want to listen to the music they have playing. They have free WiFi but it's a little slow. read more

Just opened recently - you can still smell the new equipment and paint! It smells like a tire shop. At the moment, its not too busy and I like using the equipment while it's still all brand new. There's an exclusive area for black card members with new regular massage and hydro massage chairs. While the Pflugerville location is closest to me, I'm probably gonna try to come here more often until it catches on and starts getting busy. read more

Constantly overrun with homeless in the old Fry's lot next door, for one. Further, this gym constantly suffers from either routinely misplaced equipment via lazy gym goers, people overstaying their welcome and sleeping on the locker room benches or outright sleeping on the hydrobeds, and leave mountains of hair and trash in the showers every other week. It's not strange at all here to find either a stench or a wrapper or empty bottle of some sort, or even wads of toilet paper on the floors in the showers and elsewhere. The staff genuinely work their hardest and try to remedy the issues in a timely manner, and they're the nicest people ever. They deserve far better for the filth and downright insanity they often put up with than a mere $12/hr in this economy. The proprietors and management need to do better by their hourly staff, and start finding a way to crack down on inconsiderate or downright slovenly conduct here. read more

I went to this gym about 10 times in one year period of time. I had no complaints about the gym itself. People are nice and the gym is clean. The reason you guys deserve 1 star rating is for the inconvenience of membership cancellation policy. How hard is it for you to just cancel the freaking membership? Also when you are a independently owned franchise you should have your contact info so we can directly contact you. Stop playing with peoples time. I have spent 3 hours on hold on the phone trying to reach yall. This is absolutely childish. I think you owe me instead for the time i wasted trying to cancel the membership. I have the black card and have been a member for more than a year. Giving this PF a 5 star review because of the trainer who works there- Chris. I was nervous about signing up for training as I had never done it before, but Chris was patient with me and made sure I was doing each exercise the correct way. A lot of the machines/weights I had never used before but he explained and demonstrated how to use them in a way that was easy to understand. Also, I was impressed by how he could handle 3 people in the class at once, giving each person individual attention and feedback. I will definitely be signing up for more training classes, I learned so much! read more

I've been a member since March and I love everything about it! There's a lot of equipment that I don't know how to use yet, but I'll get there in due time! Love the fact that I can go in and just do the treadmill, or go hard core with floor exercises.The only thing that I would like to suggest for this location is a larger floor area to do the floor exercises. i have to go inside of the gym in order to cancel my membership..I am not going to the gym due to the pandemic. i am not going to go inside to cancel as i have a toddler with me 100 percent of the time. come up with a better solution. i sat on hold for 38 mins just to be told i have to go in and the women on the phone said that when i SIGNED up for my membership it said on the paperwork that i would have to cancel that way. well when we signed up for the membership we werent in a pandemic.. soooooo do better. read more

I went to Planet Fitness today to see if I could get a refund. I was told the same thing customer care rep told me. No I couldn't get a refund because I didn't cancel before the charge took place. Well Planet Fitness this annual payment that is billed 2 or 3 months later people forget things on 5 secs. You all did not send any reminders you just took the money and now I can't get it back. I went to do the total body experience and a guy was head of me and signed his name and his friend. It's supposed to be 12 mins. The first guy comes out 20 mins later asking the guy to start the total body experience again for the other guy. Then hurry's back to room. First off what the hell are they doing in the room??? It's 12 mins not 20!! I'm not sure why you guys would allow two people to go in at the same time. It does not mater if it's a women and man or two men or two women. Thats not what that room is for. Who knows what the hell they are doing in that room. Feeling very frustrated that I have to wait while they are playing around in that room. It's supposed to be used to help your workout not a play room or a hookup room. I don't understand why it's not a rule one person at a time to help Prevent situations like this from happening!! Hey Planet Fitness, I joined in Austin Texas Parmer Lane site based off FB posts about the deals and how they were opening Jan 16. I'm here and it's not open. An employee told me it had been pushed back to the 30th. I asked why there was no text or email or FB post. She said "it was a communication error". I said "yeah, like NO communication ". She said that the FB site wouldn't be ready until they open. Your FB was ok to POST the deal but not to post the push back? VERY disappointed. Even the website says it's open but that's just for sales. Your own website should say something about the delay. read more
