Absolutely terrible experience with this Planet Fitness location and their billing department. They have my checking account information, routing number, and debit card on file, yet somehow my monthly payment repeatedly "doesn't go through." What's interesting is that they wait 5-10 days, charge a late fee, and then suddenly the payment processes without any issue. How does that make any sense? To make matters worse, I've tried reaching a manager more than 10 times by phone regarding these fees. Every time there's either no manager available or nobody with the authority to help. I've also gone into the club three separate times, and it's always the same story--excuses, no manager present, and nobody willing or able to waive clearly questionable late fees. Even more suspicious, while my regular monthly payments supposedly decline, they somehow had no problem successfully charging me TWO annual fees within a four-month period. So annual fees process just fine, but monthly dues don't? That's hard to believe. The entire system feels designed to generate extra late fees from customers who don't carefully monitor their accounts. And if you do notice the issue, good luck getting help. The club points you to the billing department, the billing department says they'll contact the club and get back to you within five business days, and then you never hear from anyone again. In just six months, I've been charged two annual fees and six late fees. The customer service, management responsiveness, and billing practices have been beyond frustrating. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before signing up here unless you're prepared to spend your time fighting excessive fees and getting nowhere with customer service. read more

I enjoy this gym. Open 24/7 and usually not packed. Some equipment is broken cuz of some ppl and idk if things ever get fixed haha. No big deal. Service is always great. Never had a problem. I guess I won't give it 4-5 stars just cuz I had bad experience with some dude picking his @ss with his fingers and touching equipment. The gym is good except for the rest rooms. There has been a toilet seat that has not been fasten since I enrolled 2 months ago. Im not sure what cleaning product is being used, but the toilet area always smells bad. I think cleaning crew might be stingy with the disinfectant they are using. I dont like that some gym goes, sane people, just hang out in the restroom surfing on the internet or recording themselves being super creepy. Went in with my husband on 12/30/2022 to renew our membership. Raquel and Ismael helped us. They were both so friendly and took their time to make sure they updated our information accurately. I do like coming here because it is only 10 minutes or less from my house and always so clean. They do have an app that you can check to see how busy it is which is such a huge help as it is my husband daughter and I that attend. They even offer discounts to different stores makes having a membership worth it. read more

Honestly, as much bad rap planet fitness gets, it is such a reliable place, you could do every workout without waiting for machines, not ever get disturbed by people or overwhelming crowds, and honestly, it's a good gym for starters or experts, I prefer Planet Fitness over Gold's Gym (I have both memberships) due to it being less crowded and how chill this gym is!! read more

This is my first time at this location. I've been to about 10 others. I noticed the 360 doesn't have monkey bars like some of the others, and the layout is obviously also a little different. But it does feel spacey. It was also my first experience with the massage chairs. I like it, even though it only lasted 10 minutes. I can't believe I waited so long to try this. read more

Good gym in an unexpected area. This PF is located an older L-shaped strip mall with a good size parking lot in the center. The gym was opened about 15 months ago and was modern and well equipped, standard to most PFs I've visited. It's bigger than it looks from outside. Areas included: Black Card, stretching, abs, 30-minute workout, locker rooms, 360, cardio, free weights, and weight machines. There were no Olympic Bench Presses. Cardio equipment included a great variety of machines (6 step-mills, treadmills, different types of ellipticals and stationary upright and recumbent bikes). I noticed one broken step-mill. The gym was practically empty during my early weekday visit. No surprise though. I was out by 6:30 am. This review was based solely on this visit. Here's what I experienced. Parking was super easy and plentiful. Customer service was friendly. The gym floor was clean and organized. The other gym goers we're using the clean stations and cleaning up after themselves by wiping down the equipment they used. The female locker room was exceptionally clean and well stocked (tp, paper towels, soap). There was no wait for anything. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit. read more

I have to say I like this place. Still new. Opened in late 2018. But still has the freshly opened vibe. I tend to go early in the morning or late at night. So I believe that I have been missing the crowds. First of all this place has a great set up. The weights area doesn't seem crowded. Meaning it's got a decent space to walk around. Some are so congested. Not this one. They have plenty of treadmills and eleipticals. They also have a couple of step machines and stairs machine. They got bikes. They got everything but an aerobic instructor. So if you are looking to burn a little off or just continue to train. This is a good spot. But you might say. Wait I don't have a lot of time. Well if you have 30 mins. They have something for you here. They have a 30 min workout that all you have to do is follow the number. It's machines and block to step, jump , plank, do push ups or sit ups. Whatever you want to do in that section. Most people don't use it. But o remember doing it in College. It's a great work out. I just hate it when people think the machines are for sets. They are not. They mess it up. So far here. Everyone is doing fine. If you are looking to build up your core. Well they have a ab section. From sit ups to machines. They even have mats to work out on. Just remember to wipe them. I don't want your sweat. As much as you don't want mine. It's not that type of work out. They also have a more intense workout area. The PF360 area. They have ropes and monkey bars. And some other stuff I haven't a clue about. But they are there. In retrospect if you want to work out. This is a great place. If you need to shower after. They got clean lockers and showers. If you like massage chairs, tanning booths, hydro massage tables well you have found your place. read more

This is a pretty good Planet Fitness location. It is perfectly located right by the freeway for easy access and has a big parking lot. The place itself is really clean and machines are in great condition. There are cleaning stations everywhere to help maintain and clean the machines. Great place with friendly staff! read more

Five stars especially for Baki! This young man was very patient and kind helping me cancel an old account and enroll three of my youngsters. He explained the plans and specials perfectly. He was very attentive and is an obvious leader. It wouldn't surprise me if he is a personal trainer or manager. I don't impress easily but he had all the answers which is very rare these days. Made this spot my new home gym, and I like how everythings sorted out and theres always a free spot even during peak. It's always clean and the weights are almost always available. Major shoutouts to the guy with the Naruto Pin and the Tanjiro earrings, he's always so welcoming and helpful. He hooked it up with a Celsius Heat once (they sell those there which is AWESOME.) and I thought that was super dope. Let me start by saying I'm not a member- Nor would I be of this facility. This is a review based off customer service. I walk-in this after noon to use the bathroom. The front staff is immediately rude and immediately says no. I get it's for members only. But with all the plaza having the same rules except for the nice restaurant across from this gym it makes you feel immediately unwelcome. My favorite planet fitness! Norwalk likes to keep it clean and tidy. There's always someone walking around cleaning up dust and wiping down machines. Employees are friendly and attentive! Amenities are great! Men's changing/bathrooms are large! Showers available Cashless business. The staff is very friendly love coming here to work out. The gym is very clean unlike the 24 hour fitness I used to work out at.

The manager there is a troubled man. He finds every little reason to come nag at you. It's to the point where it's giving me so much anxiety that I've cried and traveled to different locations to avoid him. I'm pretty sure his name is Ismael something like that. It's to the point where I skip gym days or just work out at home because I'd rather avoid the confrontations. I give this place 3 stars because it is very clean, the locker rooms are nice and the staff were very friendly. I've included two photos in reference to my review. Like most gyms they send out a promotional packet and solicit you through the mail with the low payment of $10 a month. So what they don't tell you is when you arrive you have to pay an initial fee and also additional monthly amounts to upgrade to their program to where you can use special parts of the gym to work out at and be able to use other Planet Fitness Centers. The main reason I didn't join the gym is because when you first walk in there is a sign that says "Judgement Free Zone". But if you look to the left of where that sign is, there was even a bigger sign that says "lunkhead alert" with a blue siren and Light. The description is defined as a lunkhead is described by four things; One, you wear a muscle shirt. 2. you drink a gallon of water while working out. 3 drop your weights. 4. You grunt when you work out. So though they claim to be Judgement free, they not only describe a type of person they dont want in their gym, but they will also turn on an alarm to embarrass that person if they violate any of those definitions above. So my question is if you happen to wear a muscle shirt, are categorized has a lunkhead? If you have a gallon of water that you carry around to hydrate yourself, are you then considered a lunkhead? Serious bodybuilders who do not drop their weights or make a grunting sound when lifting, but many need a gallon of water to support their training. Are they lunkheads too? In reality, this is a severe form of discrimination. I thought they were judgement free? While there, I saw a girl with a large bottle of water grunting loudly while training. Many professional female tennis players grunt when they hit tennis balls. Would they not be welcome in their gym?? There was a young man training who had ALS, who Igive so much credit to for his training, and he was wearing a muscle t-shirt described on the wall. So are they lunkheads too? This to me is disturbing and I am surprised no one has contacted the Attorney General to file a complaint.. read more

I still love coming to this gym. It is spread out and well maintained. It stays clean and has a water bottle filling station. I wish there were more recycle trashcans. I noticed there is one in the front but I see so many recyclables in the regular trashcans across the gym. I wish there were plates for the bagel Tuesdays and bigger plates for the pizza Mondays. read more

The gym is open 24 hours, it serve every single customers with respect regardless of your body size; genders and your ethnicity. They also offer free training sessions for people who want to improve their physical and mental health. It seemed so nice. It looked clean, not really over crowded, lots of machines. But I have one big problem with them. I was wearing blue jeans when I signed up to join but although no one said anything at that time, you can't wear them there at all. So, 2 days after I joined, I had to cancel my membership because the only option I had was to buy a new wardrobe so I could go there to give them money. This is complete and total discrimination! I would suggest you go anywhere else! Even just walk around the block. So, just how the hell are jeans going to scare anyone, or make them feel bad in any way, or hurt anyone or anything. I will not be going to this gym! They management was terrible!! I was in an incident where a man took pictures of my friend and two other women and the management has done nothing about it! All 4 women have complained about the same man and they will not remove him from the gym or cancel his membership! Today I went to the gym but I brought my nephew 11 year old and girl at front desk told me they don't allow kids inside so I asked politely if he could stay on of the chairs or anything and girl was rude and said no I told her nobody told me when I sign up anything about that so I had to walk away. I recommend fit nation on San Antonio Blvd, they don't say nothing if you bring your kid and he can sit on the couch no problem at all. I'm reply to business manager : I understand safety is a must near machines or the work out areas but there was nothing wrong with a kid being sitting on a chair with a tablet just sitting there, the girl front desk made it clear no kids at all on the gym and gave me attitude I don't remember her name but I will write it as soon I see her again. You can't beat this place. The equipment is new, excellent condition and most importantly, there's many alcohol and wipe stations to sanitize after your workout. Let me start off by saying the gym is a nice gym it has good equipment it's very clean looks new. The staff is so rude I was harassed about wearing a mask mind you I walked in with no mask and wasn't told anything and then was also harassed that my little bag not even the size of a backpack could not be on the floor where I was lifting just minding my own business working out for almost an hour and 20 mins and one of the staff members comes over and starts scolding me about all these things. First time there by the way as a guess I would never treat a customer or a guest that way. If you don't want to be harassed by these things there's other gyms in the area that will not harass you. If you like being unsanitary and wearing a sweaty mask around your mouth that is actually really bad for your body then this place is for you. read more
