Horrible gyms with horrible customer service. Charges your account even if you cancel then doesn't let you use gym! No free weight barbels and lots of people with bad attitudes. Facilities are clean but the machines are inconsistent and do not have good range of motion. Would not recommend this gym to anyone besides a gym noobie. read more

Nice PF location. Not super big but gets job done. Lots of cardio machines. There are Weights, 360 room & 30 min room. Crowd reflects community. There are people working out with all types of bodies and different ages but not too many minorities. People were friendly & I only had to wait for one machine. 2 hydro massage lounge & 2 massage chair . The black spa had red light and tanning rooms. Hydro massage lounge doesn't have the travel videos but music & games instead. Met the GM on my last visit. Nice guy; helped me with purchasing a lock. Location is very clean. I love how they put the spray bottles elevated from the trash can instead of on the trash can's sides. There was an employee vacuuming, another wiping equipment, & even wiping glass doors. read more

Great facility though smaller than most but very clean and good vibe - I'm from PA so this is a great spot to get in a quick workout

It's to bad they don't get the air conditioner fixed, it's hot enough to pass out in there. It's been 2 weeks, seems like an excessive amount of time to wait for repair. Many of us are talking about moving on. It was like this last summer, so many times I'd walk in and leave because of the heat. It's Florida it's hot a gym needs ac. My fees are paid always I expect the gym to be up to par. Appreciate your time and hoping for a resolution. read more

over packed with boomers and children. no equipment or the one available is fought over ruthlessly by groups of people who use the place as a social gathering. impossible at anytime to get a full workout in even with subbing every workout to something els that something els is also taken. they sure have enough treadmills. read more

I would post 5, but that would be seeing employees cleaning equipment throughout the day. And cucumber water and aromatherapy, eucalyptus towels etc. This location has everything I need. It feels clean, they have spray bottles all around the gym. The customers seem to take pride in pitching in to keep it clean. As a black card member, I enjoy the additional amenities provided such as tanning, and water massage. This location in satellite beach is not overcrowded compared to the planet fitnesses in CA. This makes it a great option and enjoyable experience. read more

A holes wouldn't let me in cause of my shoes, even after I rouse all the way there on my bike and hold them I wasn't even hitting legs. update. Just rode bike there again after being sent home. I will start by saying I love planet fitness. I have been a member at this one since they opened. With that being said this particular location is far too small for the amount of members. If someone opened a Crunch fitness beachside myself and probably half their members would jump ship. Another thing, please enforce the 30 minute workout section for what is intended for. Nothing is more aggravating than someone coming into the area and jumping on the machine I am going to next. The sign you that posted at the entrance does absolutely no good. read more

AVOID Satellite Beach facility at all costs! Amateur & immature management left urine on bathroom floor (twice in last 3 weeks) with poor functioning A/C unit. Lot's of JUVENILE kids slandering the older mature members and overusing machines. Management cancelled contract and DID NOT refund initiation fees! Hope OWNER's take note and take ACTION! read more

The gym is nice and clean. Read your contract! I joined when they recently opened. The employees were stretch thin with all the new customers. Consequently, they did not explain the fine print, which I couldn't see and I didn't read the email when I got home. There is a $40 annual fee and the is a $58 cancellation fee. I spoke to the manager. She couldn't accept that one of the employees didn't explain the fine print. No compassion no compromise. read more

I tried to cancel my yearly membership but they asked me to come in during self-quarantine (or send in a certified letter). The county had not shutdown quite yet, but as we are older, we decided to not to take the risk to leave our home. I cannot believe that a company would be as cold-hearted to deny cancelation to an elderly person during one of the nation's worse crisis. read more

RIP OFF GYM!!! They take your bank account information (not debt or credit card) for the yearly membership fee (different than the monthly fee). They continue charging you the yearly fee even during coronavirus and so many calls to them to cancel membership. They require to come in to cancel membership (when they are not open anymore to the public) or they require you to send a certified mail via United Postal service to cancel membership, again during coronavirus when the state is locked down. Their greed is unbelievable as they do not care about their members health or if they die in having to go to the post office to mail a certified letter to them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF PLACE. read more

The gym is great and the staff is pleasant. There is a lot of good equipment and is kept very clean. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the ceiling lights are SO bright! After doing any exercise supine and sitting up, it's quite disorienting (to me). I see spots for less than a minute and then it resolves. I have belonged to the Satellite Beach Planet Fitness for about 8 months. I travel quite a bit for work and the Black Card membership allows me to workout at other clubs when I travel. I go to Satellite club 2-3 times per week when in town. Staff always greets me with a smile, regardless of how busy they are. The club is clean and well lighted. The restroom is clean. The equipment is in good shape and typically clean. Some customers apparently have really dirty shoes when using some of the equipment. But there is always at least one staff member cleaning to keep things looking great. I work out on Elliptical, abs, weight machines, and more. I get my 45-60 minutes in and enjoy the workout. I really appreciate the staff members. They always are friendly and helpful. I will continue using this as my home gym and I'm very thankful they are in Satellite Beach. read more

The club is clean and has potential however, there are so many 'politics' with the staff. The staff are nice and friendly but they are also very gossipy and randomly make up rules that are interfering, inconsistent and make it very difficult to have a relaxing place to work out. read more

One of my least favorite Planet Fitness locations. I moved down here from Nebraska. I was the only one in the 30 minute workout area & an employee that was cleaning walked up to me in the middle of my workout to let me know that I had been a piece of equipment too long. I had been on that piece of equipment for less than a minute. I find it EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional for an employee to interrupt someone's workout to tell them that. If the room was full & people were waiting, I could completely understand. But it was EMPTY & I was the only one in there. read more

Recently visited this location because I travel for work quite often. PF is known to be clean but this club is immaculate! Cleaning is second to none and the staff was very pleasant the few times I visited last week. Keep up the great work! read more
