Two days later, we're definitely feeling it (in the best way), and already looking forward to going back. My friend and I came for the Wednesday, 6pm, "Strength and Boxing" class. There are a few parking lots around 500 Seneca so finding a parking spot wasn't a problem. It was a little confusing figuring out where the entrance to MLC Personal and Group Training was, but we were told to park in the parking lot on Myrtle Ave. and use the entrance on the same street. Once inside, we walked all the way to the end of the hall and MLC was through the doors on our right. We were impressed with how spacious it was but we were only on the top floor, the floor below was where the class was. It was just as big downstairs but the vibes here were awesome with plenty of equipment, music blaring, it felt like we found a secret boxing gym! Michael, our instructor, was great! He came right up to us and introduced himself, went over where everything was located (lockers, bathroom, showers, etc.) and showed us around the space, introducing us to our classmates. After that, he explained the warm up and let us go to tackle it. The class was excellent, putting us through various cardio, core, endurance, mobility, boxing exercises. My friend and I finished the class plenty sweaty and tired, but energized and proud. Michael did a great job checking on everyone throughout the class, encouraging us to push ourselves. After class, Michael gave us his card and highlighted the other classes and programs he offers. MLC Personal and Group Training is great! The gym is quite spacious and clean, with two floors, plenty of equipment, and a cool vibe/personality to it. The "Strength and Boxing" class will put you through your paces and make you sweat and Michael does a nice job checking on all the participants to make sure they're working hard and demonstrating proper technique. The equipment is in excellent condition and they recently replaced most machines with newer ones over the last year. They have a good selection of cardio machines as well, including treadmills, stairmasters, bikes, and ellipticals. There is a regular workout class schedule included with membership, however, I have never attended. There are large dedicated locker rooms with showers that are always clean! However, you do have to bring your own lock. They also recently just added dry saunas to the locker room included with membership as well. Overall, excellent gym, I would recommend it to anyone!

I used to sign up for women's only gyms because of the sheer amount of people at Good Life and LA - it was just obnoxious - and also everyone was magically already in good shape. At Terries, I think the max amount of people I've ever seen in this gym at once is 15 - which is fantastic. Because the space is sort of divided into different areas, it never actually feels as busy as it may be. Personally I go on my lunch breaks or two hours before closing as I find those are the emptiest times, and who doesn't like having the gym to themselves? Can this gym use some upgrades? yes. Slowly I am seeing a bunch of newer machines make their way into the gym, but the machines they have still get the job done. This is a no-frills gym with great staff. Terry and her husband are also great. My only complaint is that it needs to be cleaned a little more thoroughly, it could use a good dusting.

I was continously charged even after my bank investigated it for fraud and refunded me. He runs the charge under a slightly different companies name. Man's a low life and a criminal. All his trainer did was bash him as a scumbag, I should've been out after hearing that once. Place needs to be closed and the owner arrested.

The cost was 379.00 per month . The receipt that I have says "90 Day Kickstarter". There is no doubt that I signed up for a 90 day program. The first charge the owner puts through on October 20th is for $779.00 which is not what I budgeted for. The owner made up some b.s. about prorating. Sounds a lot more to me like he has a cash flow problem because he is billing me for almost 2 full months. And, he was autatically extending my 3 month membership to 4 billable months because I didn't start my membership on his billing date?? Btw, there was also a promotion for a FREE TWO WEEK TRIAL which I never got credit for in his zany prorating and creative billing scheme. His irrational billing, which he justifies in his own mind, always results in dollars in his favor. But, hang on it gets worse. As of today, February 2018, 5 months later, the owner, Giovanni Preziuso, refuses to stop charging my account for $379.00 per month, although we are WELL past my 90 day program. He further insists that I have to pay until May, 2018!! I am not kidding. I assumed the charges were made in error and that he would correct the problem when he was made aware of it. I was very, very wrong. This billing is quite intentional. The owner's business practices are unethical and I predict that this will eventually ruin his reputation and destroy his business. I am taking my documentation into the branch today and having my bank rever se the charges. If he wants to persue this, we can take it all the way to court. At first I was dumbfounded. But, now I am pretty angry. The gym itself is quite nice and the other trainers are very professional. However, the billing practices are highly suspect. Buyer beware.
