I haven't met anyone here in person, but Sophia has exceeded anyone's definition of customer service. She is genuinely interested in helping me find a bike that fits my age, mobility issues, and budget. (I think there's still a chance she's a bot.) But she seems to care about my needs and texted late Saturday she early Sunday. Who does that? I drove nearly an hour to get to some powersports place on the other side of the metroplex yesterday. Those people couldn't tell me anything. They knew what I wanted before I left home and still didn't have answers when I got there. (I was a tough question: "what's the out the door price on a as particular motorcycle"?) Second girl went to the office to get the information. She was still there when we gave up waiting and left. I have great confidence that Sophia would quickly find out whatever information I needed. Heck, she's provided insight to motorcycles I've looked at at other dealers. This place has unbeatable customer service before you ever get there. read more

This only applies to the service department. I called them on Thursday to see if the "first come first served" deal was still on starting at 9am and a friendly female assured me that it was. I showed up at 8am with wifey's Buddy 125 with a flat for repair. Cameron came out and first asked me if I could pick it up Tuesday or Wednesday since they didn't have a tech to mount the new tire. I explained that I already called and she needed the bike that night for our monthly club ride. Cameron then explained he should have it done by 2pm and it would cost $95 (i supplied the new tire). 2 hours later Cameron called and said now the price would be $165 because they had to remove an exhaust part. I said yes because we needed the bike back for our planned ride. Mind you, Moxie Scooters in Grapevine said they could do the exact same job for $60 dollars but it was too far away to get the bike there on such short notice. I called later to speak with management and they agreed to honor the $95 price but no real plausible explanation for the sudden price increase. She said they had techs with circumstances that kept them away from work at times and I guess customers just have to bear with them. Anyway, when we picked up the bike Cameron said the work did not take as long as he thought so HE bumped the price back down to $95.... the whole thing sounded very shady. I bought BOTH our bikes there but just can't trust them anymore. Moxie Scooters in Grapvine has given us awesome service and that is where both our scooters will go from now on. The Saturday claim of "first come first served" is highly questionable... not the first time we had this sort of issue. After wanting to charge me almost 3 times what Moxie would charge me simply to mount a tire, no more. Can't take our bikes for maintenance to a place we simply don't trust. Respone to GM: 1. I doubt your tecs are almost 3 times better trained or have almost 3 times the expertise than John and his crew at Moxie based on Cameron's attempt to bilk me for $165 to mount a Buddy tire when Moxie qouted me $60 for the exact same job. 2. If you are going to promote "first come first served" on Saturday well you better have the tecs there that can do the work. Customers really don't care about the excuses just like you would not care if a vender or customer skipped payment and then just gave you excuses. Those whose bikes are their only form of transport may really be counting on that Saturday to get to work Monday morning. 3. Had it not been for your intervention I have zero doubt Cameron would have stuck my wife with a $165 bill for changing a tire.... we were stuck and at his mercy. 4. At our group ride two different newbies asked where we do service.....I completely filled them in. This debacle was a topic of discussion with a number of riders. Scooters are probably small potatoes for you guys but word does get around. It's nothing personal... you're sweet and all there are always nice. But we've spent thousands in your store on bikes and service.... you better take good care of those folks because when the leave they won't be back and they will relay their bad experiences to all who will listen. read more

Let me be blunt: my experience with Plano Kawasaki has been nothing short of infuriating. I bought a 2021 ZX-10R from them, and within a short time it became obvious that the bike had major internal issues -- issues that didn't magically appear in my hands. These were problems rooted deep in the bike's condition before I ever touched it, and Plano Kawasaki either didn't notice, didn't care, or didn't bother to tell me. They sold me a heavily modified, fully tuned, emissions-deleted 2021 ZX-10R with zero disclosure. Anyone with a shred of knowledge about sportbikes knows that tuned literbikes are high-risk machines that demand proper inspection and honest communication. Instead, Plano Kawasaki handed it to me like it was showroom fresh and "good to go." The moment the truth showed itself -- mechanical issues that any serious dealership should have caught -- they did absolutely nothing to help. No ownership. No support. No responsibility. Just a shrug and a message that amounted to: "Too bad. Not our problem." That is pathetic customer service. It is unacceptable from a Kawasaki dealership. And it shows exactly how little they stand behind the bikes they sell. If you're thinking about buying a used performance machine from them -- especially something like a ZX-10R -- be prepared to roll the dice entirely on your own. In my experience, Plano Kawasaki will take your money, hand you the keys, and vanish the second anything serious comes up. I drove two hours to this dealership because of the videos and reviews and was very disappointed once I spent some time there. What they don't tell you is they put add ons to the motorcycle ie: slip on muffler and then upcharge you on top of the dealer prep fees! Then when you say something about not wanting the muffler you want stock the sales guy says it comes like that. Yeah good bye not returning! On top of that the identical motorcycle color year etc at another dealership was $1500.00 less plus you did not have add ons! Shop around. Just because this dealer is a mega store doesn't mean its the best but it does mean they have massive overhead and advertising and the consumer pays for it. read more

Okay so I was out cruising on my Vespa that I bought from them a year ago and dropped by on a Tuesday morning for a service issue. I wanted a hand adjusting my shock suspension. . . this is an adjustment that takes 1-2 minutes MAX for someone who had done it before. The guy in service said without missing a beat that they were too busy, that I would have to drop it off, that he had 5 solid days of work, etc. . . Would have been great if he said "hey come back in one hour" or "come back right before we close." Nothing. Cmon man!!!!! It's called customer service!!!! Really disappointing since initially I had a really positive experience there. . . . . This is a follow-up review on my bike purchase. I want to first say all the ideas I wrote in the first review I stand behind 100%. This follow-up is more informational for out-of-state purchasers. When I investigated the bike purchase I asked a lot of questions. The most important one was to make sure it had a clean title. And the dealership had an original title document. All was / is good there. There are two areas I did not question more thoroughly. Part of what attracted me to the bike at Plano Kawasaki was the bike had factory side cases - not aftermarket. That was / is important to me. Those are optional items. The one thing I did not ask was whether the hinges worked or if the cases closed completely. After all if they didn't I was going to buy elsewhere. The dealership let me know about the scratches on the one case. But not the damage to the hinge and the cases. In this case the case box material is broken through to the point the case will not close completely. So, the water seal is worthless. I found used case which is not damaged and I purchased that. I contacted the dealership to have them augment some of the cost of the new replacement. I did that on Oct 10th (2020) and to date they have not responded. So, I assume they are not going to help in that regard. I kind of get it except the lack of disclosure. The take away for me is if I do something like this again; I will find someone locally to check out the bike and report what they find. If it cost a couple of hundred dollars it would be well worth the expense. I would encourage you to do the same. I do not think the damaged case was something they were trying to hide - at least I hope so. The sales guy made sure I knew the bike had factory cases. But it still does not feel very good! read more

Son I'm buying my 2nd bike here in 3 months. Bought a H2 SX SE Plus from Zach. He's a great guy. Personal not pushy and very knowledgeable. Morgan did my paperwork again and she's always a breath of fresh air. So I bought a used 2020 Busa for my 2nd bike from them in 3 months and Zach really went to bat for me and put a difficult deal together for me. Go see that guy he's awesome. What a great experience again. Morgan talked me into to buying extra coverage and I used it 2nd day with a flat tire. I was getting the run around from the warranty company so AJ the manager called me and took care of everything. Like I mean took everything off my plate scheduled an at home pick up after hours to ensure my issue was handled promptly. I will say the service guy was very short with me on the phone and literally tells me to call Morgan to figure out my issue. I said I need customer service. How about you two talk and call me back SMH. Other than that I'm truly amazed how quickly they got things back on track. No one's perfect. Things happen. I bought my 2018 Suzuki V storm 650 here and I had work done here before and I had a bunch of accessories added to my bike here at this place but as of March 16, 2023, I can confidently say that my recent experience with Plano Kawasaki Suzuki Vespa Moto was nothing short of a nightmare. No JOKE. The head service man, Andy Cannon, not only tried to rip me off with double the routine service charges, he also seemed to have a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. This is one creepy dude. During my recent visit, I brought in my 2018 Suzuki DL 1000 V-Strom for a 29000 mile service. As expected, this should have taken anywhere from 4 to 4.5 hours to complete. It's the same service you do it 14,500 However, my bike had 29,000 miles on it and needed the same service as the 14,500 mile check-up. To my surprise, Andy Cannon tried to charge me for 8.5 hours of work instead of the routine 4 to 4.5 hours. Not only was this an outrageous charge, it also showed a lack of honesty and integrity. He sucks at life It was clear that this dealership was more interested in making a quick buck than in providing quality service to its customers. To add insult to injury, Andy's overall attitude was dismissive and dismissive when I raised my concerns with him. This made me feel like my business and satisfaction were of little importance to Plano Kawasaki Suzuki Vespa Moto. Overall, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If you're looking for a reputable dealership to service or purchase your motorcycle, I suggest you look elsewhere. The service and customer satisfaction here are terrible, and it's clear that greed is the driving factor behind all of their practices. To summarize, I am sad to share my negative review of Plano Kawasaki Suzuki Vespa Moto. My recent experience with this dealership was nothing but disappointing and frustrating. I had taken my 2018 Suzuki to get routine service, but to my dismay, I was given an estimate of $1,639.47 for a simple 14,500 service. This review is from my week long experience dealing with Plano Kawasaki. The tale of 2 bikes and a man's word.... Purchase was 100% positive from the beginning thanks to Tom K. Found a used KLX140G online but I was away on vacation and couldn't make anything happen until I returned. I called Tom and indicated my interest. He was more than helpful on my questions about bike condition and my options while I was away. He offered a generous 72 hours to hold bike. I agreed and placed a small deposit to hold. He had several offers during those 72 hours but he kept his word. Fast forward to Monday...bike is mine. On Monday , I called and spoke with Tom and Jason (nice guy too) and stated I could not pick up bike until later this week. No worries. I also stated I'd like to take a look at a KLX110 or similar for my son. I arrived Friday to pick up my KLX140G that was in better shape than I expected and in the back of my mind I already knew I had a new KLX110 to look at when I got back to Austin so I wasn't expecting a great deal on the KLX they had. Scratch the Austin dealer as Tom beat the KLX110 drive out price in an amount I was happy with. This entire buying experience with Plano Kawasaki was a pleasure. First of all Bob the service writer and Josh a so called tech are incompetent to say the least .. I own a ts 650 Kawasaki jet ski which was running very good the carb had a problem I couldn't fix , it would only run with the chock half way on.. so I called Bob I explained in detail what th unit was doing he assured me a carb rebuild would take care of it ..the day I took it up there I had it in the lake ran very well except the carb.. I took it to Bob and explained to him in detail the problems and told him it had been running good.. So the very next day Bob calls me and said oh the carb just needed priming? ??? I go up there and I talk to Josh he tells me that he got it running it was hard to start so he used starter fluid to get it running any one who knows anything about two strokes you don't use starter fluid you use fogging oil.. and my question is it ran and started perfect it just wouldn't run with out chock being on half way Josh he pulled the plugs and cleaned them ..really they where two day old ngk plugs Bob never explained to tech why it was in there in the first place..i was very upset 3/31/2016 Two days go by Bob calls me tells me that as of today Which was 4/2/2016 they no longer work on two stoke engines really. .told me to come get my ski...very pissed now ..I get there and ask to talk to manager on duty I got the run around and was escorted off the property and my ski was way out back..AJ the General Manager was combative and rude. Today 4/3/ 2016 my jet ski now won't start and it smokes unbelievable when I tried to start it .. My advice to any one out there stay as far away as you can from Bob, Josh, AJ and plano kawasaki suzuki. So tomorrow I will be taking it to Dales Jet Sport.in Sachse to see how bad it has been damaged I plan on calling corporate and everyone I can till thus is rectified. .and then I will plan taking legal action. . So I guess all the KX dirt bikes out there won't be able to get service as of the 1st of this month. After going into great detail to Bob about the issues I was experiencing he writes on the service order "make run" I asked him why he didn't put the notes I explained to him he assured me he would let who ever services my ski know of all the detailed Make Run I guess Josh is a mind reader. They will charge you crazy fees. I asked them to sell a 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R and they wanted to charge me $800 to put it in their shop so they could inspect that everything was working correctly. The bike only had 2800 miles on it and was still under factory warranty. Obviously this dealership has no morals. It is run by a husband and wife and they seem so plastic, fakey and make your skin crawl. Just not ethical at all. I went up the street and sold it on consignment and LaCore Powersports. I asked to test drive a motorcycle. I am a woman. I have been testing riding a number of bikes including the Triumph and Harleys. All great experiences. When I asked about test driving the Kawasaki they would not allow me based on my experience level. I had a friend with me (male)!so they proceeded to explain to him (not looking at me) why they would not let me ride one. My friend test drove a scooter. They made him promise he might buy it because they did not to waste their time allowing him to test drive it without it. Their words. Sales people lack and real skill. I was sad to see them close but delighted that service was available is that great Dallas suburb, Plano! Reading the 1-star review here on yelp, and the reply from management convinced me I should try them out. I'm so glad I did. When it comes to motorcycles I'm kind of a chicken. I would happily drive my scooter to Pittsburgh if you could get all the other cars off the road. We only use our scooter in our own residential area. Kevin was a big help with our servicing needs. He cares about his customers and the reputation of his dealership. When servicing was complete, Kevin arranged to have my scooter delivered to me at a reasonable price. It arrived in perfect condition without a single scratch! They even included a copy of the State inspection in case the automatic paperwork does not work. If you are student, at SMU or elsewhere do not hesitate to utilize Plano Kawasaki / Vespa for your scooter needs. These people know what they're doing. I have been shopping Hayabusas and bought one, but NOT from plano Kawi Suz. The sales lady pulled all the scare tactics trying to get me to buy from them. I kept hearing "those other guys are dishonest" talking bad about another dealership, this and that. I ended up buying from the "other" dealer for $1,100 less! The sales lady also indicated the price was not negotiable, and they aren't making any money on it, and that they are letting me have it for what they have in it, which is bs. And they only make money on financing, which I didn't need anyway. Plus they figure in a $500 "dealership" fee. Beware. Now the positives. Plano Kawi does have a good selection of helmets and accessories and prices ARE negotiable (that department only). I bought a nice riding jacket and love it. read more

I dropped off a tire to be patched at 12pm. Said it would be done within 2 hours. I came back shortly before 6pm, 6 hours later, and the tire still hadn't been touched, and I received no call to let me know it had been delayed. It's now 24hours later and the tire is still not ready. read more

Bob Bishop at Plano Kawasaki suziki has been working on my vintage hondas for almost 20 years. He has rebuilt my 66 superhawk and this year he rebuilt my 76 cb750 . They are maticulous with my vintage machines as many other mechanics are lacking in this area! Dropped off a wheel and tire yesterday that has been powdercoated black. Our first buying experience was outstanding from the first phone call to the personal interaction in the store with my entire family of 6. Personally we have dealt with shops all across the country purchasing many motorcycles and dirt bikes. Service after the sale.... So to follow up on my Jet-ski purchase, one of them was getting moisture in the display unit. Called AJ up and Bob, the service manager assured me they would not "fail" in the middle of the lake. Stopped by on my way to Ray Hubbard, and they got all the information and looked at it, ordered the part, then I took them back in once the part was here. Being new to Jet-skis, I asked AJ to have her guys look them over to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid. She calls me up later that week to tell me the tires are wearing uneven and need to be "aligned". She sent the trailer out to the trailer shop, and had a new axle and 2 BRAND NEW TIRES put on!!! I've got a beat up old 2005 Suzuki that had been sitting idle for 2+ years. Clutch problem I couldn't fix, wouldn't run long, hard to start. Took it in on a tow truck. Two weeks later I was able to ride it home. And it continues to run like a champ. The guys took the time to break it down and figure it out. It took new O rings, carb de-glaze, plug, oil change, oil filter, lube, inspection, battery, cable adjustments, etc. After reading some of the reviews here on Yelp, I was concerned that the price would be ridiculous or repairs would be flawed. Not so! The price they quoted me after looking at it was the price I paid. It was reasonable for the work done and pretty close to what I thought it would cost in the first place. Have had the bike back for a couple of weeks and it continues to run like a champ. read more

Had a Great Experience with AJ. Great crew across the board. I ended up buying a 2014 Ninja 300 SE ABS with 300 miles for $3,000, so I didn't buy from them, but they are still awesome.
