I reached out on Facebook last week expressing my desire to purchase a new bicycle and within hours I had a warm response with information I needed. I stopped by on Tuesday and worked with Felipe to find a bike that fit me physically and planned riding! Excellent conversation with an extremely knowledgeable and friendly Felipe(sp?) Philippe? I arrived looking for a bike rack for my car. I don't need 15 different ones, just one that does the job! The one I got was reasonably priced. In and out. However, I was super jacked when I found out they would put it together and mount it for me! Wow!! Where has this place been?? Instead of me spending the greater part of the next two days trying to put something together with a small tool set and no clue what I'm doing, these guys told me they needed 15 minutes. Very helpful and friendly. I went in to buy a new fork and they had a used one, what are the odds. I had to go back for some longer bolts. Even though they were very busy, they still took time to help me out. My daughter found a bike she loved so we bought it, they did a mini fitting and put on a bottle cage and made her day. I took my bike to this shop after calling to see what the process was for tune-ups and the turn around time now with everyone wanting to ride bikes. They explained that I could just drop it off and it will take approximately 2 weeks. When I got to the shop they looked over everything and quickly and efficiently showed me the areas that needed to be fixed and provided me with the costs up front (no surprises). They said it would be about 2 weeks which is good. The service was great and I'm looking forward to supporting this shop as I put more miles on my bike. read more

I've been in several times - both for bike accessories and to have my bike adjusted and repaired. I've never had to wait for anything, and the proprietor even explained how to reconnect the rear derailleur - and then did it for me free of charge. (I had removed it when my chain got hopeless jammed.) More recently I took a friend's 70s-vintage racing bike in for an overhaul. I'm really excited to see how it turns out. read more

This is a great bike shop. Very personalized service since its not a very big shop. But what they do, they do it well. The focus here is on bikes itself, not in the fancy accessories. For the accessories, you may be better off going somewhere else. But for buying an actual bike, or even for a tune-up, this is the place to be. Friendly service, couldn't have asked for better. Parts are cheap but service is non existent. They took my 3-speed for cable repairs they said would take 2hrs and would call me when ready. I called back 3hr later and they said it would be ready in an hour. I went to get it after an hour and they didnot even start on it yet. Two mechanics were sitting there and no customers in shop. Sorry, I called and was happily quoted $90 plus parts for a tuneup. Person answering refused to say what the hourly rate was. Not sure what the other stories are charging, but that is not cheap. My husband bought a used bike at a pawn shop that needed tubes and tires. After trying it at home with crappy Walmart stuff, we returned all the crap and made the ride to see Felipe. He gave tire options, put the tubes and tires on, checked the chain, gears, brakes, and popped in some plugs into the handlebars that were missing. We were in and out in less than a half hour without an appointment. It's obvious Felipe knows bikes inside and out and is a super nice guy to boot. It ended up costing maybe $25 more than doing it ourselves, money well spent. read more

I have lived in the area most of my life and I have drove past the bike shop for years but never went inside. I went to the bike shop to get my bike tuned up and ready for road use. The store employees were great and treat me like family. The tune up took some time since they were busy but they got the job done. My bike looked new and felt showroom new. I did have an issue with the break pads after I left the store and they went out of their way to fix the issue with no cost. I would highly recommend the bike shop for all of your bike repair needs. I've been here twice, great little hidden gem of a shop. My husband, who had been injured a few years ago which affected his balance, used to an avid rider, and this past summer we decided to get him a new bike (in this case, a three wheeler/"adult trike"). Not only were we able to get this awesome cruiser style bike at an insanely low price (as far as bikes go, anyway), the customer service was OUTSTANDING! On top of this, it's independently owned, which in my book guarantees my business - bonus! Just recently the wife bought a bike and it's pretty fancy. Way better than the bikes I used to ride as a kid and a junior higher, but still, nonetheless, it's a bike. I live in the area of the Bike Shop so I stopped in because our bike needs one tiny domed washer for the front brake. The gentleman was helping another younger guy with his bike and he looked to be busy, but in the middle of it, he says, "Is there something simple I can help you with?" "I'm looking for a domed washer for a brake pad, do you have any?" He gets up from the mounting of a tire and starts sifting around the work benches and finally says, "You know what? Those are on every brake pad replacement we do and we just throw them out. I don't have one." Me: "Do you know where I might be able to find one?" Him: "Probably one of the bigger bike stores... Sorry.." Me: "If I were to buy a set of brake pads, how much would that be?" Him: "$10." Me: "Okay, thanks!" So I got some good information out of him, most likely we'll get our bike tuned up when the time comes to need one. Located right around the corner from our house, we send my sons over there to get their bikes tuned up. Those guys must be a family arrangement, they know bikes and have everything in stock we ever need. It's comfortable and friendly, and even when we're just asking questions, they never make us feel like we're in the way.
