I was so excited to go here and I really wish I could give it five stars. I heard about Planter Paradise from a Facebook group I am in. When I got there I was very impressed with the pot selection and pricing, they didn't have many plants to choose from but the customer service is where I was really let down. The white older male at the Cash register ask my friend and I what we were going to put in the pot we were buying, after we answered he mumbled under his breath "like I care." After this experience I posted in the group I heard about Planter Paradise from and found out many others have had bad interactions with the same man. I don't know if he is an employee or the owner but he really put a damper on my excitement for my purchase. I don't think I will be back because I don't want to support this behavior. read more

The entrance to Planter Paradise is a very discreet driveway off of Chase. It is easy to miss, as all one sees from the roadway are trees---I was expecting to see pottery, which is not visible from the road. But once you turn down that driveway, you will find a "paradise" of pottery. I was looking for blue glazed ceramic pots. The selection was fantastic, and the prices were far lower than at Canyon Pottery [because Planter Paradise buys directly from the manufacturers rather than through distributors]. Moreover, the service by Alvaro and Donny was helpful and efficient. Highly recommended, and I will come here for all my pottery needs from now on---I am just sorry I did not know about it previously! read more

They have an incredible selection of ceramic pots and planters and we've purchased a lot of them over the past few years. It's also a good place to buy things like trellises and statuary. They also have a great selection of interesting cactuses and succulents that's better than the generic types that you find at every garden center. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

A Talavera Lovers dream! If you know about GOOD Talavera ceramics , you know they can be insanely priced. I was almost giddy at the sight of so many colorful planters, figures , wall art and YES, Santa Barbara technique pots! Prices were amazing, Tiny pots for $10. HUGE for under $100. and the wall art!!! Its a must if you love these colorful one of a kind!! NOW if you love garden art like cement figures of animals, Goddess and Buddha heads and figures , you will find it here. And the prices were enough to make me wish I had a huge truck! LOL My husband and I will be back to buy a fountain for our courtyard that we can actually afford! The place is large and they have carts you can bring around to make your picks. From nice white matte pots (hard to find in my experience) to fountains, concrete ducks and small interesting planters, this is the spot! I can't be more pleased that I've found this treasure trove of pots! Be sure to note their hours (WED-SUN, 10-5) so that you give yourself ample time to browse the property. It's huge and around every corner I found more things I wanted. There are pots of every shape and color and very reasonably priced. I told Robert, the owner, that I would be back when I build my succulent wall. They had some unusual ones I'd never seen before.
