I went for the 1st time with my Mom a few weeks ago. She had been before. I guess it was pretty empty compared to her previous visits but they are not closing. It's just a matter of getting their items (shipping during the pandemic) I was still able to find what I needed. I got 3 big white pots and me and my mom grabbed some plants and succulents. This place is the BEST! I've been shopping here for years for both professional use and personal use! The selection is far better than what I have seen in similar sized retailers but best of all are the prices! Definitely one of my very favorite places to spend money. Most recent project was for myself. New pottery for my courtyard. Found beautiful purple glazed pots and matching trays in a contemporary shape, excellent for the new Palm trees! Medium sized pots used for the new rose collection and Mini versions of the same pot purchased, filled with pea gravel and used as stands for the solar patio lights. Love it, love it, love it! This place is awesome!!! My husband and I went twice in one day as we HAD to go back and get the alligator and a few more turtle stepping stones. I love our three new blue pots, they are well made and fit our space perfect! The prices are really good and the staff are very helpful and assisted us with loading our truck. They even suggested and provided cardboard so we could stack our turtle stones. I could easily spend 2 hours here as they have such a big selection! read more

Love, love this place! Well worth the drive to east county for this hidden gem. They have huge selection of pottery, planters, garden decor and even succulents. Their prices are decent and the customer service is great! Jack, one of the employees was very attentive to my husband who wasn't feeling well. Jack even helped me load the heavy items into my car. I've been to Planters Paradise numerous times and I always found just the right pot, big or small. I've gotten beautiful birdbaths there too. In the Spring thru the summer they have really cool succulents and cactus I can't find any where else. Expect very one on one service in an old fashioned way. What a great place! Wide variety of succulents, helpful staff when needed, wonderful pots and planters of all sizes and colors. AND the most wonderful thing I found recently was that I could order a concrete table and benches in a choice of 4 or 5 colors with coordinated tile tops. OMG - love this place. Went there for the first time today and it was amazing. SOOO glad I found them on yelp (was almost desperate enough for unique pots to go back to *another* pottery place in town but knew I would regret that). Only bummer was that I didn't check the hours before going. Drove 30-35 min to get there, to find out they are not open on Tuesdays. Couldn't really see if the type of pots I wanted were there through the gate, but made the trek back again today and was SO glad I did. SO many choices and the prices are amazing. Also, unlike another horrible pottery place in town, everything is marked! Not only with the price, but w/ the dimensions. That was super helpful, because I'd meant to bring a tape measure with me, and then forgot it. Was happy to see I didn't need it. Other places I shopped, I would have had to settle for something not quite right - but here I had the hardest time deciding what I wanted! The selection is amazing. Also tons of different color and size trays for your pots - and such deals. Will always go here for pots from now on and am telling all my family/friends to go here too. Well this is a surprise... Remodeling the front grounds of my facility and I was looking for large planters. You know the kind you plant a small tree in and that makes an entrance an entrance... This is your place... They've got a bunch... Hundreds no thousands of them! Robert the owner knows he's stuff and he hooked me up got two large ones for either side of the front door... I opted for about 400lbs of concrete planters (commercial application). I'm headed back once we lay a new pad with the gazebo for one of the big fountains. Great prices and good people! read more

This place was amazing! Great selection of outdoor products at reasonable prices. The staff was very helpful even going to far as to recommend a different color chiminea after we picked a fountain. Why is that a big deal? The one they recommended was in a difficult spot on a high shelf so they had to lug the heavy chiminea down. Honestly, the hardest part about this store is choosing which planters to buy. So I bought five. They help you load them and buffer the pots with materials to keep them from sliding around to ensure that your purchase will make it home undamaged. The pots are beautiful and so reasonably priced that I bought a bunch of huge ones when I flew down in January and we had to take the truck down to pick them up last week. This place is amazing! There are so many sized and shapes of pots, it will make you head spin. I believe that if you can't find what you want here, it doesn't exist. I had been unsuccessfully looking for an orange planting bowl for weeks. I finally decided to go to canyon pottery, but living in the east county, wanted to see if there was anything closer to home. I am glad I checked yelp and found this place because the selection and prices were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful too! The first time I ever went here was in the dead of an East County summer, 110 degrees out. I hate the heat. ..and yet, my friend and I spent an hour and a half slowly looking through every nook and cranny of this huge place. The heat was the last thing on my mind being surrounded by so many different beautiful pots and other lawn accessories (concrete tables with mosaics, water fountains etc) with even more beautiful price tags!! I absolutely love this nursery! Although their selection of succulents aren't that big, they always replenish their stock so you can definitely find something different the next week! Their selection of pots are enormous and very budget friendly... Especially when buying several at once!! The owners are wonderful and great. They really know their customers.
