I decided to try again this last month after 4 years and found out at my appointment I could not donate due to a clerical error where no one removed the hepatitis C flag over 4 years ago. I was told to "call this number" and "try again tomorrow." Donate to the Red Cross because Bloodworks Northwest is a joke.

The donation stations themselves are very comfortable-- since the process takes roughly an hour or so you can relax and catch up on your emails, watch a TV show, movie or listen to music etc. through your phone/ laptop. Not a bad way to earn a few extra bucks!! Go ahead and give it a try. Tip: Drink plenty of water and have a good meal before you donate and it'll make the process go more quickly.

Facility is clean and well maintained Different Snacks and a large variety of drinks are available to drink after you donate. You can donate whole blood every 8 weeks, or platelets once a week, however no more than 24 x a year Currently there is a big need for blood donations in our area.
