I am now post-surgery and my breasts look like me, but better. I highly recommend him, along with his staff, especially Kari who was very nice, and the anesthesiologist who was also great. My pain was 4/10 when I first got home, but after taking my medicine, it stayed at a 0. Having zero pain was amazing, and although I have extreme soreness, he was definitely soft with me. I met with the nurse practitioner and my visit was concluded in under 5 minutes. This after taking time off from work, a 45-50 minute drive, and filling out forms prior to the appointment and downloading the patient app. Could this not have been conducted via telehealth or could I have been squeezed in for a 15 minute appointment closer to my home? The NP confirmed my and Dr Google's diagnosis and the issue should be resolved soon. I just would have preferred that this could have been less inconvenient for all involved.

Did see a huge change in the staff with my visit this week and I think the new computer system that has since been adopted is playing a huge role in this improvement. I've since moved to Plainfield, over 30 miles away and would not even consider going to any other dermatologist. And while I still see Dr Glazer senior, everyone that sees Dr Alex just raves about him as well. I do my yearly screening and this year my moles on my back did have some changes that my primary pointed out as a concern. His reassuring demeanor immediately puts you at ease and he always takes great care. His assistant, Alexis, was also very gentle taking her time numbing all the locations he was going to remove. Love the fact that he compounds his own retin a lotion and Clobetasol ointment.

She gave me multiple versions of how to work on the problems, most expensive to least. I opted for the least expensive fixes for a while. As my years around the sun progressed, I decided it was time to get serious about improving my skin. Which is when Anxhelina entered the picture. So, Anxhelina has that flawless porcelain skin that we all strive for and she does not gatekeep. She calls it like she sees it and will give you all the tips on how to get results. We started with IPL. My first IPLs hurt like hell but were high effective. Went back for follow up IPL and disaster struck. I ended up with stripes. Not a good look. It was horrifying, but between Anxhelina and Dr. George, they strategized a plan and gradually fixed the problem. No charge to me. After that experience, I mentioned that I really wanted to shift over to the Moxi laser, which is different than IPL, but I couldn't find a local practitioner who offered it. A month or so later -- boom! They had it. It is amazing, by the way. Worth every penny. It was around this time that I realized I had found my people. And that's my general feeling about AW Medspa. These are my people. They get me. They understand what I'm trying to accomplish, and they are here for it. Of course there are always times when I don't have the cash flow for something, but I never get any pressure or condemnation from them. They have a tiered membership program that offers different discounts which is really helpful if you're looking for multiple procedures, or are in that place where you're getting serious about combatting sun damage and wrinkles. I'm typically visiting the office once every 4-6 weeks getting a facial or Moxi, and all told, I'm sure my face looks so much better than it would have had I not gone for that first lip flip. I wish we could rate different areas of the practice. Doctors and front desk are between 4 to 5 stars. Unfortunately, our experience with the optical department has been consistently disappointing. They rarely answer the phone, and when we do reach someone, the staff often come across as rude and uninterested in helping. Rather than offering guidance or possible solutions, we were simply told to contact our insurance company. Our insurance has remained the same for decades, yet we were told the optical department does not accept it, even though the medical office does. That inconsistency was confusing, and no one took the time to explain why or help us understand our options. We will continue coming to this practice because we value the doctors and the medical care they provide. However, due to our experiences with the optical department, we will be purchasing our eyewear elsewhere.
