I unexpectedly backed up into a tree that was sticking out.... shit happens, the glass cracked but it could have been worst. Platinum was referred to us by our auto guy and we quickly made the call. A quote was given and an approximated 1-2 hours timeframe was needed for an appropriate window to be delivered to the shop. They are located on a very busy street so they suggested that we bring the car in once they call us. Anthony called within the promised timeframe. I told him I would be at the shop in 20 minutes. As I was pulling in he was just telling another customer he was waiting on me. I mean wow, he made sure I was going to be taken care of. Had ​on a 2010 Sentra windshield went to Safelite wasted my time leaked just as bad if not worse afterwards. One to another shop which they also recommended the same have the windshield taken out have the body work done rushed around the windshield which afterwards I went to platinum glass spoke to Jeff showed me that the leak would be taken care of he diagnosed it and it wasn't actually from the windshield it was from the body itself went to a heavy thunderstorm leak is gone highly recommend the shop workers are very professional and time estimate of repair how long was right on time. My Volvo SUV was broken into in the wee hours of Sunday. Front passenger window shattered, glass everywhere and than a big plastic bag to ward off torrential rains Sunday afternoon and through the night. First thing Monday morning I call Platinum, they say give'm 5 minutes to check on parts. I call back shortly thereafter, they say parts will be there at 11:30 so come in then. Get there on time, they get me right in, cleaned-up all the glass and I'm back out and home by 12:15. Everybody there is so friendly and courteous and they really know what they are doing. Fan-friggin-tastic. I want to give them a 6th star. I've had my car in Brooklyn with me for 2+ years and of course I got my back vent window broken the DAY I registered it in NYC. I'm a cheapo and I called the first 4 places that I found on Yelp to price it out. The guy from the highest rated place on here was SUPER pushy over the phone - he kept bad-mouthing his competition and wouldn't really take "you're too expensive" for an answer. Another place took 15 minutes just to get me quote. EVERYONE quoted me a price about DOUBLE what Platinum Auto quoted me. I went to Platinum Auto because they were BY FAR the cheapest place I called. I went in midday on a Saturday and was out in less than 30 minutes. They vacuumed the broken glass out of my car and even put my new NYC plates on the car for me. Anthony was just wonderful. Super nice and straightforward and he seemed to have a great rapport with his workers and customers. Also the waiting area is like a loft living room directly above where they work, which is kind of funny and entertaining. There are many things I dislike about owning a car and having a windshield crack starting to form out of nowhere was just a headache I didn't want to have to deal with during a very busy week. I was just so surprised how easy and painless a company could make this situation. I called over there for an estimate, Anthony was super nice on the phone, asked me to call back in ten minutes. When I did, he gave me a quote that I actually thought was incorrect. I had just paid what now seems to be a fortune on a broken window a few months ago at another glass place. This whole new windshield was so inexpensive. I made an appointment for 8:30 the next morning. I was greeted by a super friendly staff and Anthony who remembered my call. I was in and out in less than an hour and he even gave me a "about ten more minutes update" while the work was going on. From what I could see, the staff really likes each other and Anthony speaks to folks that work with him with a lot of respect and I think that just says a lot about how a company is run and how that translates to customer service. I can't say enough about this shop. Even if I leave the area, I'd travel far and wide to come back to this shop before going anywhere else. Anthony has to be the most honest business owner I have ever encountered in my entire life. Had a cracked windshield on my leased Altima, was concerned regarding there being an issue replacing the windshield with an aftermarket part. Anthony literally had a quote for me for the aftermarket and OEM part within 5 mintues; he advised to go with the aftermarket part, and literally had the best prices available (mind you I was shopping around). Staff is extremely friendly and courteous, took care of us immediately after we pulled into the shop. They had us out of there within 15-20 minutes, with honestly some of the most professional work I've seen done to my cars. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, my only regret was not tipping more lol! Tony is the man!!...can't extend enough gratitude to him. My moon roof was the cause of my leak in the car and it was clogged... he didn't try to sell me whatever that wasn't needed. Fast forward a year later he stood behind his work and fixed again when it happened for no charge!!! Awesome!!
