Yes! Went to my car last night and found my back window shattered. Called three places for quotes. Went with Three Star because they are a small business and its important to support small businesses. I spoke with Neal the owner and without the need to haggle he gave an amazing price, told me I could bring my car in immediately. I dropped my car off and in a short time he called and said it was ready. They were professional and no silly upselling. They cleaned up the shattered glass from my car without any upcharges. My local tire repair guy at Quick Stop Tire Shop (whom I swear by with all of my car needs) highly recommended me to Three Star Auto Glass after my Pontiac G6 needed a windshield replacement. A rock had hit the windshield (in the area above my inspection sticker) causing a large crack & resulted in a single-line crack that continues to grow horizontally every day. By day 6, the crack single-line glass in the center of my windshield has grew to the point where it was obstructing my view while driving (so annoying!). Since my insurance doesn't cover a windshield replacement & my car is 9 y/o, I figured if a new windshield cost too much, I'll have to go with a used windshield to save money. I called Three Star almost at closing time & Neal (the owner) apologized for not being able to give me a quote that day because the warehouse is closed & ask politely if I can call back the next day for prices. He also took the time to explain to me that a used windshield may have imperfections which can affect installation (sealing the glass), performance & there were not much price difference between a new & a used windshield. Next day I got the most reasonable quote to replace my windshield at Three Star. I immediately asked Neal to place the order & I'll be at the shop the following morning to have it install. The price I got from Neal was lower than Corona Auto Glass and L & B Auto Repair in which I had also called. It was also way cheaper than the online quotes from Safelite, Glass.net, and WindshieldsToGo.com. The following morning I brought "my baby" there & hopes to pick up some groceries at Key Food (a block away) while waiting. When I first pull into this bare-minimal-looking shop, there were 2 guys (aside from Neal) that couldn't wait to put their hands on my car. Since I was the first customer of the day, I guess all available hands were on deck?! The windshield took less than 20 minutes to install... WHAAAAT?! By the time I return with my groceries, my car was finished & already parked outside, while 2 other cars were parked in the shop to be serviced. It was the QUICKEST auto-repair service that I had to endured... "my baby" was actually waiting for ME rather than the other way around! AWESOME SAUCE!!! I don't even know how they remove the Registration sticker, Inspection sticker, Rear-view mirror & EZ Pass tag sticker from the old windshield to put onto the new windshield... PLUS install the new windshield, all in UNDER 20 minutes... AMAZING, no doubt! Small businesses such as Three Star often don't get the recognition or compliments online for the great services that they provide for years because people are too lazy or forget to write a review. For me, I beg to differ. I would highly recommend Three Star to anyone in need of auto glass repair. It was effortless from getting a quote to paying for a job well-done. Neal's customer service was outstanding & the guys at the shop also did a fantastic job (I inspected every inch of my windshield!). My new windshield looks incredible... way better than it looked in years! To be honest, I would rather go to a shop with the basic necessities (no need for fancy decor or comfy waiting areas), pay below competitive prices, get the job done in lightning speed, and be treated like an existing customer.
