After getting my car washed (which they did amazingly quickly) they suggested that I consider having my old yellowed head lights restored, which they can do on site. I've been concerned with not only the safety issue of less light coming from the lamps, but that's the one thing that makes the car really show it's age. Derek was able to bring the clear lenses back to life and it only took about 10 minutes. A real value at $80 and not only does the car look new again but I have much better visibility driving- without having to use my high-beams as much. I've tried other fixes and they don't work and don't last. Great results and I would highly recommend Derek at Platinum Auto Spa to anyone with yellowing headlights. read more

I just took my car here for the first time and the lady up front, I believe her name was Taylor, completely gave me attitude and was trying to over charge me. Went in to get a wash and wash told that they couldn't clean my car unless I paid $30 for the managers special. I was waited on by a young kid who was too busy drinking a drink to pay attention to anything else. I went to Cactus Car Wash right around the corner and had my car cleaned for $16 and they did a great job! read more

Really disappointed today, I dont usually go to machine wash places, however. In a pinch today took a gamble on Platinum in East Cobb. The staff was very friendly and I found out they also do hand wash which I was happy about, the cost for my SUV was $38 which seems a little high but, I went for it. In the end, I looked over my SUV and the young guy who cleaned it seemed to be more into just being finished than the quality of his job. He appeared to have missed every bug that hit my car, I pointed out several spots until I felt I just had enough. When I got home and could see my car in the light it looked like he missed the entire drivers side of my car and didn't really clean inside my vehicle either, which I paid for. Somehow I splattered paint on both the inside and outside of my car. Derek Miller, manager at Platinum, told me to bring in my car right away. He said he would try his best to clean the car and, if I weren't satisfied, I would pay nothing. Three hours later the job was done and I was more than satisfied. Not only were Derek and his crew competent workers, but Derek himself is a customer service king. Here's the deal. I have 2 black cars, and I am far too lazy to wash them on my own. Luckily we also have a drought here in the ATL, so it works out nicely. There are about 4 car washes in my vicinity, this being the farthest away. I took the wife's little suv in to get cleaned. They got me for $20, which is about $6 less more than they deserved. The exterior was decent, and they did a good job on the trim and the wheels. They completely neglected to dress the dashboard or the interior, even though it was in my "package". The inside of the place has a few couches to sit and stare off into the distance, but other than its really uncomfortable. I was reminded that the bad coffee was free, but "if you want anything special, its extra" which is an easy way to say that they have a dodgy cappuccino machine that they need to pay off somehow... so buy something already. Will I go back? Not likely. read more

Bob and his wife do a great job running the business. They have very little turnover in personnel which is unusual in this business. He has cleaned all 3 of my family's vehicles and has done an excellent job. I recently ran over some house paint in my Porsche that had been dumped on the highway. Bob and his team got the paint off and got the car back to it's original shine. Great service and a very knowledgeable owner!!!! I accidentally grabbed the wrong collection of bills to tip my detailer only to realize at my next errand I gave him the wrong one (~$75 as opposed to $3!- oops). However, when I returned to ask him to swap me back he of course fumbled around and said "I don't anything like that". I described to the manager who went and asked him the same and he of course said the same. Her response to me is that "he emptied his pockets and doesn't have what you say". That was it. Terrible response to a situation by a manager. Was pretty much effectively told by that response that I was making this up. I even bought the more expensive wash to clean off from a trip and the detail itself needed numerous repeats to be clean before leaving. Never, ever will go back. read more

I took my Lexus SC 430 to Platinum Auto - Spa this afternoon because I was interested in a quote for getting my carpet cleaned and my headlights buffed, as they were very hazy. The manager, Derek Miller, came over to assist me. I thought I was just going to get a quote and decide if I wanted to use their services in the near future. Derek told me to bring the car into one of his bays. if I did not like the work...no harm, no foul, no pay! What dod I have to lose. 30 minutes later he had my 2006 Lexus headlights looking like it just left the shoeroom floor! WOW!!! I then mentioned that I needed to make an appointment to get the interior cleaned, and he said forget that! 15 minutes later he had coffee stains, grime, etc. removed and my interior looking like a new car off the showroom floor. I am an old sales guy, and it takes A LOT to impress me. I WAS IMPRESSED!!!!!!!! I've never gotten a better car wash! They do hand washes and their prices are very generous! i highly recommend them to anyone in need of a quick carwash! They sell car decals, scents, snacks, drinks, cards, windshield wipers! They even have a monthly subscription! For low pn wash your car as many times as you want in one month and you can cancel at anytime! They have electronic punch cards and normal punch cards! Sometimes they even help sell costumers cars! Drove up and wondered where everyone went. Finally parked my car and went inside. After a wait (only 1 person at the register) I asked what I needed to do to get my car cleaned. I have patronized this car wash many times with generally good results. However, upon discovering a missing item from my car after service this week, I called hoping it had been found. I was initially told I could come look through the garbage myself... Then told they would look for it after hours. The owner reported it was not found and said "sorry"...but took no responsibility or even an offer for a future car wash in compensation for my item and time/ energy spent in replacing this item. I will not return to such poor customer service. read more

Arrived 10mins prior to opening and waited til it was officially 8:30am (no biggie, happy to wait til officially open). Walked in front door at 8:30 and girl said computer said 5mins so I needed to go back and wait in my car and that I could not leave my car til they were open. Thought she was a little rude but okay ( I was going to drop off car for 4 hours so plenty of time to wash it, was no rush). So waited outside for them to open and my friend arrived to pick me up. 5mins later girl came out and ask me to get back in my car to move it 10 yards in there open garage. What happened to customer service? She had to get in it anyway to move it another 10 yards to washer. Then at pick up, that did not clean it to the level I requested and when I got home and went over dash wih towel, I got a ton of black dust! What did they do?? Will not be going back.
