I found this gymnastics place through Groupon and trial sessions we attended were great, so I decided to sign up my little one for six months sessions. Nice, clean facility, great communication with management and convenient location helped to make decision to choose platinum gymnastics over another spot. His trainer is a professional who enjoys working with kids. You can see it in action, because parents have an opportunity to sit and actually watch entire session and be a part of experience. I like the fact that his trainer is passionate and has patience. My son get distracted easily, he is actually the only boy in a group of little cute girls. He thinks it's a game and fun and my intention is to make him be focused and understand basics of self discipline. When he get distracted she approaches him and he starts to listen and follow her instructions. I see improvements in his movements already and progress is obvious, I see him following a teacher (that how he calls her) with respect. Can't ask for more. They have standard reasonable policies and all kind of activities like fun Friday, performances and parents out programs. I would definitely recommend Platinum Gymnastics to anyone who is looking for fun while learning.

My daughter did a cheer tumbling class here awhile back and loved it, so we thought to look into it for her birthday and I sure am glad we did!

Thought it might be a good option for us, so wanted to check it out. After checking in, they said the coach would be out soon and showed us where to line up. When the time came, the kids lined up and were called in, but the ninja coach never came to introduce herself, which was disappointing. After a group stretching session, they split off into their own programs. At the ninja station, there just was not much going on. I was bored just watching them repeat the same few things over and over again. The instructor was bored too as she was yawning nonstop. At one point she was literally just sitting there while the kids kind of did free play on their own. I'm not sure if they do different things each class or if it's the same but this looks like it would get boring after 3-4 sessions. Once it was over, the coach did still did not come meet nor was there any follow up on whether we want to sign up or share thoughts. For me, this program was missing a few key things I expect - safety, inclusion, and real opportunities for growth, confidence, and community. The instructor barely paid attention, the activities felt unstructured, and there was no sense of connection or purpose. So basically it's just a really expensive option to have someone unenthusiastically watch your kid for one hour. The gymnastics side looked more active and organized, so maybe that is their main focus and the ninja program is just an add-on. Either way, I was really disappointed with the Lil ninja program. Also, the facility itself felt kind of dingy. The vending machine was broken and the space did not seem super clean or well kept. Would not recommend Lil ninja based on what I saw.

The coaches, organization, times, classes, and after school are great. Having a place my kids love…read moreand feel comfortable is amazing. Camps, parents night out, and classes keep us coming back.

They have some very professional obstacles. The people running it did a great job working with the kids, showing them how to complete each obstacle, as well as the adults who participated. It wasn't really my thing, but everyone who participated seemed to have a blast. They have some event rooms where we had cake and pizza for the birthday party. Fast forward to now, where there is a Ninja Warrior gym I'm the area where all the has been and wanna he's can go and learn, and practice, and grow. The head coach has been on the actual show more than 10 times and I'm proud to call him and his amazing partner friends, and he has built a business around something he is passionate about. He's been a gymnastics coach since we've been young and so he's someone who loves it, not just says it, not just does it. I've seen 2 competitions here so far, multiple birthday parties, and have seen the customer experiences take place first hand. It's incredible how people feel about how well it's organized, how much care goes into everything, and mom's and dad's can trust their kids to improve, spend energy, and in a safe environment that has that cool #spiderman flare to it. There is sufficient parking, occasional good trucks, it's located right off I35, and neighboring a brewery... What more can most people ask than to have a beer and good food in the hot Texas sun while their kids run around and play next door with other kids who aren't even missing their phones or their video games! #ianofaustin approved, excellent local business for fitness activities for children and adults

They do offer tumbling classes even if you aren't on a cheer team and the pricing is very competitive with local gyms. As far as the cheer teams you have to try out around April for the season that runs the entire next basically school year so if you miss that you pretty much have that year to get ready for tryouts for the next year. I hate to give 4 stars BUT I know, or I hope, that I will get to write an update For 5 stars when they move to their NEW location in Hutto behind the Lowes. So... the 4 stars, the viewing area and entry area are so small, there are SO many kids and parents that all arrive at the same time and it's our chaos. The kids for safety reasons need to wait until their class starts to go into the gym so it's very tight, especially when one class is letting out while the other is waiting to go in. But truly has nothing to do with the quality of the program it's just a pain. There are some people that I see even bring their own chairs just so they have a place to sit. But as I stated there is a new location in the works I'm sure they have a grand plan for this issue and I look forward to updating my review when we move to their big beautiful new gym. My other reasons for 4 stars would just be the inconsistencies in the coaching staff. It seems like there are new coaches in the tumbling class every week and my daughter has to explain she knows how to do something each week so she doesn't regress. She's small so they assume she can't do something, so at water break I have to tell her to tell them to let her do it. There are a few coaches that go well above and beyond though and remember every single girl and they must have 1000 girls there. Natalie, Paige, Tour, Chamie, Bella, so many favorites.... One I feel so bad I don't know her name but she's a huge advocate for my kids to get pushed and moved into new levels. They also offer private lessons with their coaches so if your kid needs extra help with tumbling, flying skills etc the rates are very fair for that as well.

At no time was my husband or I notified of an incident occurring at the facility or during art class. Rob McDonald and Whitney Seaton both employees of the Rec facility assumed I was aware of the situation solely based on speculation that my aunt who was caring for my daughter while I was away on business had been able to get a hold of me. The first time I heard from any party was when Rob McDonald called my cell phone to tell me the outcome or determination for my daughter's enrollment in the class. Rob called and stated my daughter could no longer attend art class at their facility. Rob and Whitney did not call us as parents to inform us of the incident or to tell us that you all would need to speak to all parties involved like my daughter or the other party BEFORE coming to a decision. They spoke to the other party ONLY and decided based on that one party. Due to the other party involved being Caucasian and us being minorities this does make the situation feel race related. It does cause my husband and I to feel like there are grounds for a civil suit for discrimination. Not only did you all reprimand my daughter, but you all allowed a white entitled father to also reprimand her. You all failed my daughter and did not keep her safe. Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Dept as a whole needs new procedures and policies in place to protect other children of color from discrimination like what my daughter was subjected to. You all are at fault for how this situation was handled. Young Rembrandts and the Pflugerville Parks and Recreation facility decided based on a "she said" scenario without communicating with all parties involved and doing an actual investigation. Our daughter was traumatized and terrified by the father that approached her. Rob and Whitney continue to word things like you aren't privy to what occurred at the facility entrance and framing things as if he approached my aunt and daughter. Please do not minimize or attempt to downplay what that father did. He walked up to my 8-year-old black daughter, and he said, "Did we have a problem today?" My then terrified 8-year-old responded to him and began to explain herself. This is a situation that no child should ever find themselves in. I will not stand for any injustices. I do not recommend this facility if you are a minority.

It's definitely an aging facility that doesn't boast the latest in exercise equipment, but we have those places around. Here's what I love: $2/hour child care, and it's GOOD -- people who seem to love kids are taking care of them. $1 walking track -- you can't beat that for a walking alternative when it's too hot, cold or rainy. Finally, great programming -- the swim lessons at Gilleland Creek, gymnastics for kids -- again, taught by kind, loving and knowledgable instructors. I really feel like this is a special gem that gives me the warm "pfuzzies" about Pflugerville! :)

So, I went into doom and loom and the land of waiting for my leg to wear out. I tried PrP and stem cells and that helped to a point where I "could" walk some, but not for very long without pain (meaning like 2500 steps a day.). At the time, I just thought that was my reality, but was willing to try another therapist (my 4th one in 7 years.) Enter Alicia ... I came to her as a last resort as it seemed that my previous PT exercises were actually causing more pain and enhancing my nerve pain. Her ability to diagnosis on a level beyond other therapists was the key. My simple understanding is .... that it wasn't so much that my cartilage was diminished, but that fact that my hip joint was loose in the socket and wiggling around in places that it should be, damaging the cartilage. This is the first time I had heard that and the fact that my whole spine was a little twisted and probably the main cause of the constant pain. After six sessions, I was moving without pain and can now climb steps and walk nearly 10k steps a day. Truth be told, I still have some inflammation after walking distances and a few angles that my hip can't move in, but the nerve pain went from a six to a one in two months time and my mind is blown! I can't recommend Alicia enough! A true miracle worker!
