UPDATE 2: So recent update as of 11/14/2025 NEVER RENT FROM THEM. They gave us a letter with our deposit back. And in the "itemized bill" they wrote all even numbers in pen. They charged me $500 saying that cleaning was $80 an hour and it took them 8 hours which is horse shit. Then they are trying to charge me hundreds of dollars to repaint the cabinets which is against the law that is regular wear and tear on the house considering it's a 100 year old house and the condition they gave me the house in was awful. They are saying we made 1600$ in damages to the house in 11 months. I am going to fight this. This place needs to be shut down and Jeff needs to be fired. UPDATE: PLEASE NEVER RENT WITH THEM. We just moved out. The front desk lady is very nice and sweet she's amazing. Jeff is very unpleasant avoid this company at all costs. The house they gave us is in pretty bad shape. When we first got there there was graffiti all over the garage full of very offensive language and images. There was also broken glass all over the floor in the garage when we arrived. When I contacted the people about it they told me it was my job to pick up the glass even though this all should've been done long before we moved in. They said they would clean it off this spring. The house had holes in the wall with fiber glass sticking out. They sent someone to fix it. As time goes on the door handles are starting to fall off the cracks in the walls are starting to happen and the paint in the shower is peeling off. The drains in the shower are very slow due to how clogged they are. The floor was very cheaply done and is starting to chip i don't know if they just painted over it or what. To pay $1300 a month and have the house fall apart the way it is with things that should've been fixed long before we moved in is ridiculous. They also do not take card or online payment in 2025 so you have to get a money order every single month and they are closed Saturday and Sunday so you have to put time in your busy schedule to pay rent when everywhere else in the area has an online portal. I am keeping record of everything that is falling apart so that they don't try to take it out of our deposit when our lease is up. They also lied and said the train only goes by once a day. The train comes by around 9 times a day and at 3AM so if you have infants or new borns probably wouldn't recommend. We are coming from Las Vegas where none of this stuff would be acceptable. Please do better next time and try to make the house livable and presentable before your tenant moves in. We shouldn't have to ask for this stuff to be done after the fact it should be done before we ever stepped foot in the house. read more

I have been with Platinum Property Management for 20 yrs...yes 20 yrs. The reason why was because of Becky and Brittany. They are the BEST property management company out there!! Whenever I have a problem with my rental home. They are on top of it ASAP. They have the problem resolved within 24 hrs-48 hrs. Now that is great service! Becky is very knowledgeable and knows the ends and out of property management. Brittany is so kind and is a very helpful when situations arise. They get the job done and I wouldn't choose any other property management company. Becky is so knowledge in everything and knows the properties so well! Brittney is such a kind hearted and sweet woman! We've been utilizing this management team as renters for a few years now! If there was the very definition of what it meant to be a terrible human being, Becky from Platinum would be it. We have rented a property from this group for two years, and have stayed out of their hair, always made on time rent payments, and kept up the property. In return though they have been very rude from the start and have even tried to hold us liable for things that were not our fault. It is beyond me how this lady or the company has a license to manage properties. If you are a landlord, do yourself a favor and stay away from these people. And if you are looking to rent, save yourself the headache and don't rent a property they manage. A lobotomy would be less painful than dealing with them. Seriously! I rented a property that Becky and Brittney managed for almost two years and found them to be very professional and efficient. When my landlord decided to put the property up for sale, they were very helpful in finding me another condo to rent. I would definitely recommend them to any owners or renters. Let me first start off by saying this company isn't ALL bad- they have one star player by the name of Brittney Copeland. She is the reason why I'm comfortable giving one star instead of the 0 stars I wish Yelp would allow. We've had several issues with our rental property over the past 5 months (some have been dealt with in a timely manner, others not so much). When contacted by Brittany, she is understanding and seems to want to help.  Now the other partner, Becky, is rude, dismissive and condescending. We have gone back and forth with Platinum about check payments (due to the fact that they do NOT accept online payments) and the issue lies within Platinum's timeframe of actually receiving BillPay options.  The 2 times we've talked to Becky in regards to this issue, she has talked over us and basically said it's not her problem. If you can avoid this management company, renter or rentee, please do. read more

I will start off by saying I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THESE PEOPLE. I rented from Becky for two years and in that two years most of appliances did not work in the residence and also she was extremely rude. All the problems with our home she would respond " Its out of her hands or wasn't her problem". We reported an OUTSIDE mold to her that was being blown through our air vents and she sent a company out to take care of it, well something told me to double check I had the same company I used come out again 24 hrs later and do another mold test and it came back POSITIVE again. Still to this day the mold is not remediated. She is well aware of this problem and does not care. She did not take our complaints seriously and she knew that there was a 10 year old boy in this residence and still nothing was done. Horrible company and they should not have a license. read more

Trusting Platinum Property Management was a huge mistake. We were out of the country and very mistakenly put a lot of trust in Platinum. We always had to remind them to get the leaves out of the gutter before winter. Normal wear and tear is to be expected, but to have to replace numerous boards while refinishing the hardwood floors is not normal. The window screens were slashed, a dog ate the deck railings, but this was totally overlooked by this company at renter checkout. When rent payments were late, though we were the ones without our payment, Platinum kept 100% of the penalty. We moved back in August, but had to protest that WE did not burst the water line to the garage. This could ONLY happen in the winter. Depending on Platinum was a sad learning experience. I don't believe they deserve even one star. read more

Have had terrible dealings with this company. I rent a property that they manage. They were very ill prepared at the time that we signed our original agreement. I did not receive all paperwork at the time of signing. This led to my vehicle getting towed within a week of renting the property. When we moved into the property it was extremely dirty and had to have someone sent to clean the toilets. I have had several maintenance issues come up during my time at the property. When I call about the issues, it is rare that I get a follow up call to see if the services were completed. There have been times that appointments that were made for repairs have not shown up costing us work time. I have had a bad floor since 6/12. The bad floor was due to a malfunction with the air conditioner. This was promissed to be turned into insurance and fixed. We are still waiting for the fix on the floor. We have sent several follow up messeges and no return information about the floor. We have also made a simple request to have a copy of our contract the we re-signed sent to us with all parties signatures. This simple request has not been provided to us. I would not recommend this company at all. read more

First off one star is a compliment. They are awful! We have several issues with the home we are renting has had several major issues with the house. Now I understand they have to get approval from the home owner to make major repairs but they don't even respond to you. I sent multiple emails( so I have it in writing that I reported the issue) regarding water coming in from the foundation by the back door after reporting this problem after every major rain we have YET to get a response from them. The carpet now has a funny odor and we have to shampoo the carpets at least once of week because of the odor. Not to mention the water drip from the upstairs bathroom that is causing visible mold on the downstairs ceiling, these are big issues that re getting ignored! It took us almost a week to get a response for a broken gas stove. Not to mention the issues we had getting our renewal lease. NEVER again will I rent from a property managed by this company!! read more
