I hate to be the first one to give this business 1 star, but I'm honestly not happy with my purchase! And I specifically chose this business over a handful of others because of the excellent reviews and good prices listed on their website. Anyway, I came here to replace my current iPhone battery for a new one because it's been a few years I've had this phone and my battery has been draining very fast these past few months. I walked more than a mile on a rare hot ass day in SF just to reach this shop that was on the quiet and dead end of Mission St., literally one block from entering Daly City. I entered the empty shop where I was assisted and told to wait 40 minutes for the battery replacement. After 40 minutes, I returned to retrieve my phone along with the extracted old battery without a word from the staff and was charged a fee plus tax. It's been about a week and I'm disappointed to say that my experience with this "new" battery is no different. On an average day, I usually spend probably about half an hour on my phone throughout the day to check the time, email inbox, instagram, and texts but my phone still drains to 10% super quick before half the day is even over! WTF. I don't think they replaced my phone with a NEW battery. :( read more

This place really came through for me! I've been putting off fixing my cracked iPhone 6s screen for some time now and had no choice but to get it replaced after my screen was unresponsive and stopped working. I looked up the closest place by my work and came across Platinum Wireless. I only had an hour to get there and have my phone fixed, which most places take an average of about an hour. This place had a fast turn around. I got my screen fixed within 10-15 minutes! They got me in and out fast! Which I told them I very much appreciated it. As for the replacement screen, it has been serving me well so far. I've had my screen replaced by other places without the proper or oem screen which gave my battery issues. This screen is probably aftermarket but works well. Make sure you call and ask before you head out to make sure they have the screen you are trying to replace and if the technician is there to even do it. This place is a joke they ripped me off twice bought a 8gb ipod touch for $50 first time it was dead i charge it turns on but home button was jam i , i turned it but for refund or trade. Horrible customer service!!!! The screens they sale at the store has a bad quality. I fixed my screen at the store after 3 days the screen cracked inside of my car because of the temperature( that's because is winter time). I came back at the store and they argued like it I dropped my phone so the screen cracked. At first place I don't have time to spend going back to a store to replace a screen if it was my fall. Second 3 days after I changed the screen and had screen protection to. The store didn't have warranty of the product at least for a week. What kind of customer service is that?!?!? So when you need to change your iPhone screen go straight to apple store you'll pay just $30 dollars more with a warranty of service.
