Was in Portage and my wife asked me to return a few items. Bag, tags, receipt, all as originally…read morepurchased. After everything was scanned the clerk asked for the card it was purchased with. I didn't have my wife's debit card. I was told it was their "store policy" to have the card present or they can issue a merchandise return card. I told her since it was a debit card to just give me cash- "not possible" This is a scam to avoid return $ I was told they need the card because "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't" I word worry about the website security of a company with that many stores has IT so antiquated they cannot make a return with a receipt to the original form of payment.

There tends to be a difference between a thrift shop (like Goodwill, and religious mission operated…read morebusinesses like St. Vincent DePaul) and a second hand store (generally pricier, higher product quality, and operated under a more traditional business model). This place seems like a hybrid of both. Prices seem to be right around the Goodwill range or even less (and like Goodwill, they were offering 50% off of certain colored tags). I hope you've got Macklemore playing in your head because I know I do. I got the velcros ... Anyway, decent variety of older games and toys, lots of kids clothing in a wide range of sizes, even some maternity bras and clothing for mothers, and a huge rack for shoes in the back. As is off in the case, there were three times as many girls shoes as boys. The spot is definitely way off the beaten path -- tucked in the very back corner of a strip mall at the corner of Gulll and Sprinkle roads (if you've found Main Street Pub you've got the right building -- it's around the back).
