Air conditioning is on full blast which is a necessity especially with all the people and the body heat that's generated here. Food and drink are reasonably priced. Socks are included and aren't too pricey. Several dedicated sections for parties of all sizes. I wouldn't hesitate to consider this place for a birthday party. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Be back soon.

It's like if someone crossed a SkyZone Trampoline Park with a McDonald's Playpen and slapped it with a coat of pastel paint and candy stickers. Sorry, CANDEE stickers. I will say that the prices are very reasonable. $25 buys you two hours of playtime. Grip socks are extra, food is extra, some of the games are extra. And the area itself is impressively clean, especially considering the number of young children traipsing about. On the negative side of things, however, the list is a bit longer. First, there's not a ton to do. Candeeland has limited space to work with and much of it is taken up by sitting areas for parents. The empty space could easily house 2-3 more small activities without sacrificing any existing areas. Still, what activities they do have are pretty intricate, with the multilevel play area having a nice array of padded areas for children to crawl through and a toddler area with nice pneumatic tube setup to delight the young. Next, even though the place is less than a year old, there's already some breakage of some of the area. There's a floor made up of touch screens that displays numerous games for kids to step on a play with. However, it's apparent that some larger kids have smacked a number of screens, causing them to go out or flicker. Which leads to my biggest issue. There are not that many people working here. This means that there are usually people minding the gate and checking if your kid is leaving with the right person. But, there aren't enough people on the floor to ensure safety or police older kids from doing things they shouldn't be doing. Candeeland really is a place that caters to those between 3-8 years of age. Older kids either don't fit on some of the slides or play a bit too rough with the environment. More than once, a screaming 12 year old almost barreled over my kid, knocked her off a slide, or hit her with one of the nerf axes. Sure, they balk when you glare at them. But, they just go back to screaming and thrashing about while their parents sleep oblivious in the corner. So, does my seven year old like Candeeland? Yes, she loved it and wants to come back. Did I like Candeeland? M'eh, not particularly. Still, I'm sure I'll be back eventually...

we LOVE taking our girls to BlueBird! located in the heart of OB, we have been a number of times…read more Time and time again our girls LOVE the space! thanks to a fellow yelper who introduced us to them, when they hosted their little bday party! We really like coming on the weekends!, a few things to know: there is a waiver that can be signed up in adv., kids need grippy socks and adults need regular socks. Lets see there is an infant area, but for toddlers the ship, houses, pretend play ice cream karts, kitchens, dolls and slides is what really does it. they have a bathroom that is potty kid and diaper change station friendly. there is a back parking lot that can get full relatively fast, there is street parking around. they are located on the 2nd floor of the building. they have a shop with toys/books. what I really like is that all pretend play structures are of high quality and well built! this last time, our girls participated in the music class and had a blast with the drums!... very nice vibrant colors not just in the structures but also in the paintings, the floor has high quality cushiony mats, there is also couches for adults! I like that for the most part, I can take my eyes off cause the space is pretty safe for toddlers who have mastered kid friendly stairs. thank you again and happy 1 year BlueBird Play! more info on their website: https://bluebirdplay.com/ ig: https://www.instagram.com/bluebirdplayspace/?hl=en

We signed the digital waiver, confirmed we had grip socks, and went right into the play space. The play space was adorable, fun, and perfect for toddlers! The staff prioritized safety and limited the space to 25 kids. It did get pretty crowded and a bit chaotic around 9:45/10am, but that is likely because of the free day and that Santa was coming at 10am. They also had a guitarist who mentioned he gives music lessons there weekly on Saturdays. I imagine it wouldn't normally be at max capacity on a regular business day. As far as regular business, it is $25 for the whole day (can leave and return) which seemed very reasonable. They are open for birthday parties as well. My son had an absolute blast! They had five main areas to the space - two princess like area with dress up outfits, a pink house with play kitchens, dolls, a pirate ship, a treehouse with legos, and a fenced in baby area. Three of the play structures had slides from the second floor. All of the structures were made of wood, as well as the toys (play food, cars and trucks, etc). The floor was foam padded as well. They have nice couches for parents to sit and a cute bookstore in the lobby and also some snacks for purchase. They have a parking lot, that to my surprise, was also not full! They are located on the second floor above the OB Noodle house. A perfect location to grab a bite after or check out the beach. Really loved this concept and the space. We will definitely return!
