Two stars. ONLY because we spend 4 out of 7 days here and the kids working here are amazing but the owner tonight crossed the line with my family and I tonight. We arrive and proceed to purchase 4 mini golf, $5 worth batting cage and wanted 5 of us to ride go karts. So good amount of money. As we were saying what we wanted to purchase for the go karts the owner steps in and says oh no your son can't ride. I proceeded to ask why he couldn't because we have been on before as he exceeds the height for the ride. NOWHERE DOES IT SAY YOU HAVE TO BE 3 YEARS OLD AND HIT THE HEIGHT. I proceeded to move on and just golf. As we were finishing our rounds I glance over at the go karts as my son was so upset he wanted to go. I see a father and his son WAY SMALLER AND LOOKED WAY YOUNGER than my kid getting into the go kart. So yes momma is pissed I proceed to walk back to the counter and ask the owner how is that child allowed to ride but mine cannot. He said what child. I then tell him where the child was and he said well I trust my employees. LOAD OF BULLSHIT!!! So if your child is not 3 but hits the height might as well just lie about their age because shit you won't fridge if he's there your child can hit height but still not ride. You sign a waiver saying it's your choice and your responsibility. I agreed to that and was fine my child is in my hands and my responsibility. But nope let someone else make that decision for you. So disappointing and overall disgusting how that other child was let on. I attached proof of my child riding before. Overall, good place for a family but be prepared for rules to change. Great prices hence why we spend 4/7 nights there at the cages. And bring our family here. And the kids working are amazing. read more

What am fun little place. Man has it changed since I was a kid. I remember it only being the bumper cars and batting cages really. Now, they have bumper cars, batting cage, mini golf, the bungie jumping thing, and mini-golf. Brought my daughter here the other day for a day of mom and me time. We rode the bumper cars, played a round of golf and let her do the bungie jumping. She had a blast and we only spent around $30 for the both of us. They offer bundles for the activities if you plan on doing more than one. It's a better deal. Saves you a few dollars each person. The bumper cars were a little shaky, but whatever we had fun none the less. The staff isn't very interactive, butn you don't really need them to be. The cashier is very nice, not much of a conversationalist, but whatever. We can't all be outgoing. Anyway, all-in-all we had fun. We will def be back read more

The two young men that helped us during our go carting were very kind young men, one swore a bit which I didn't think was that awesome, however after talking with him I am understanding. Some people piss and moan about everything. I'm not an advocate for this place or anything, but the previous review is worthless banter from a wuss. I bring my 7yr old son here to mini golf and go kart. He's a tad too short yet to drive himself but enjoys my erratic and crazed driving. As for the mini golf course, it's a decent course with some neat holes. We get the combo deal to play golf and ride the go karts twice. Think it's a shade under $20, which seams like a decent deal. One thing about the go karts, the kids who run them are pretty generous with time. They let you take a good 5-6 laps which is a good deal. Sooner or later we'll tack on the batting cages too. I'm glad my older friends weren't expecting to raise a "Tigress Woods" ;) We had fun and got there just before an evening rush. We'll go back I'm sure...because we had fun and our curiosity has been peaked about what is in the huge, white pillow shaped building which was closed. read more

Came here on a Thursday night with my son about an hour before close so he can get some batting practice in. I drove over an hour to get here... just to stand at the counter for about 15 minutes with no service. Yelled out hello twice, and nothing. Walked around the inside of the building. No one. Complete ghost town. So finally I walk around to the go kart area and low and behold. The employees are just playing on the go karts. While open, on the clock, during business hours. Some snarky teen comes up and I said OH! Someone actually works here. To get a "what can I get you?" as how dare I interrupt their go kart fun. First off. How about an apology for standing around waiting while the employees are playing on the go karts. The kid got my tokens, with an overall attitude. A younger girl came in and told him to give us extra tokens, which was very nice of her. Props to her for her customer service. The snarky teen on the other hand? He could definitely use a lesson or two from her. I got my tokens and they ran back to the go karts like they couldn't wait to get away from the customer at the window. Definitely will NOT be driving over an hour to get here anymore. So disappointed. Also. Website states they close at 8. They just announced closing in 10 min... which would be 730. What a waste of a drive. read more

This place was surprisingly fun. It's tucked away between a storage rental center and a Conway transportation hub. The entrance is so nondescript it could easily be missed on the first attempt. The first visible attraction is a large, mysterious white dome. It turned out it was an indoor golf range. The hours are only 9-4 during the week, so if you can't make it here till after work or the weekend, then leave you driver at home. The batting cages are really fun and decently prices. It's $2 for 20 pitches. They have a variety of speeds for both baseball and softball. If a place has go-karts, then you can bet I'll drive one before the end of the evening. Unfortunately, my kart was pretty sluggish. However, my brother and everyone else was zipping around the course. I just won't get the yellow #12 kart next time. The highlight of the evening was the 18-hole minigolf course. The holes are a nice difficulty level. They present just enough of a challenge where you have to try but not to the point where you get frustrated and start to cheat on your scorecard ...not that I ever would. On an entirely unrelated note, turns out that the "traditional" way to cheat at golf is to *lower* your score. Who knew? I suggest you try the special that bundles a go-kart race with a round of golf. You'll most likely try both, so why not save a couple bucks? read more

I have been here plenty of times with family and have had some (insignificant) problems, but I thought this would be a nice place to take my sister and cousins (ages 7-13) from out of town - I also had coupons which helped make the decision easier. However, this was not the case at all. Upon arriving and purchasing tickets with my coupons, clearly explaining how I wanted to use them, I was charged more and given more tickets than necessary. This was not a problem at first because I assumed we would be using them later on. We decided to ride the go-karts. After 1/4 of the first lap, my 12 year-old cousin was bumped into the side causing her to get stuck. The staff "supervising" (I use that term loosely) watched her wave her hands signaling for help. To no prevail, fast go-karts passed, almost hitting her for FIVE MINUTES STRAIGHT. After that experience, we decided to wait (and play miniature golf) to ride again. Once we rode again, my 13 year-old sister was accidentally pushed into the side by another driver. After that round, she came up to me explaining how rude the staff was for yelling at her explaining that it was her fault that she hit the side although she was bumped by another driver. I did not want to ride again after both experiences, but we were charged 2 extra rides and since there are no refunds, I decided to purchase another ticket (for my 7 year-old cousin and I to ride a double so we can go with them), only for the cashier to explain that the staff did not want us riding anymore. After explaining that this was not true and the staff were not doing their jobs, I explained how earlier she charged me extra tickets in the beginning. She said that there were no returns and nothing she could do and did not allow me to complete the return. This was my 50th time and LAST TIME that I will allow one of my family members or friends to this place because of the unbelievably rude and ignorant staff. Message to future customers: Please do NOT go here - there are plenty of other safe and family-friendly environments to choose from around the Aurora area. read more

Great place for kids and adults!!! We had a group of over 20 and everyone had a great time. Something for everyone. Kids liked the go-karts and adults liked the batting cages. Then at the end we all met and had some fun togethere. Prices are very good compared to other places. Plus everything is top-notch, the go-karts have an excellent race track. It blows away the last place we went. People that work there are very helpful, especially to our big group. We will be back! read more

The weather was so beautiful the other day that called for one thing....get out and play some mini golf. Fortunately, my friend lives only a few minutes from the Sport Zone. So we ventured over here. It's a pretty cool place. They have batting cages, go-karts, mini golf, etc. The prices were not bad (about $5.00 for daytime mini golf and $7.00 after 6:30pm). I can't commented on the other activities since we only partook in the golf. The one drawback is the small parking lot. It doesn't take much to fill it up and I can imagine the weekends there must be crazy. The course itself was okay and well maintained. It wasn't the best designed, but did the job (even with that, I couldn't master the course and the 5 stroke rule was in full force). The waterfalls were a little loud but that was probably good since the family in front of us maybe should not being listening to our adult conversation. All in all, a pretty good time especially if your looking for something inexpensive to do. read more

I enjoyed the fights last night (4/16/11). However, some things were off: 1. The event times were inconsistent on the website, ticket, email, etc. We arrived over an hour and a half early. 2. Parking was a hassle. When I called the venue, we were told we could park at Goodwill. When we walked to the venue, there were signs saying that we would be towed if we parked at Goodwill. We had to walk all the way back and move our car. 3. I wanted a seat for the money I paid; we had to stand for 2 hours. We were not told it would be standing room only for general admission. Many of the seats were vacant; general admission people just started taking them on their own. 4. What does "$10 disposal fee for alcohol" mean? This fee was not listed or explained on the website, email, ticket, Facebook, etc. read more

This place is a must stop during the spring and fall for our family. Summer months tend to be a little too busy and we like to get in for a few rounds in the GoKarts on weekday evenings when we all need to blow off a little steam and get out as a family but don't have a lot of time - summers here are to busy to make this a quick outing. But if you have more time and don't mind crowds summer isn't bad here either. GoKarts - nice track, good turns. Not too long, not too short and employees don't mind a little bumping even though they do tell you not to with the rules at the start. And with all younger teenagers a little bumping is unavoidable I think. They aren't the best drivers. Some cars are a lot faster than others though and that makes it difficult usually for any real racing. This issue with the cars has been a problem for all the years we have gone here, around 6 years now, I would hope they would fix this problem but haven't seen it happen yet. Pricing on the GoKarts is a little steep, for a medium size family (5 of us), we can't get out of here without spending $60. We always but the group pack of race tickets and race at least 2-3 times but for only 5 minutes or so per race it seems like a lot. Not more than other places I guess though. Mini Golf - we have done this once. Not my kids favorite activity. The course seemed nice enough, clean with everything functioning when we did try it. Every time we are there other people are playing, we have never seen the mini golf course completely deserted. Batting cages - plenty of options and spots for batters. My step son played baseball so this was a place my husband took him for batting practice a few times and it worked out good. As a family activity the 1st time we used the batting cages it was a horrible experience but that was because my daughter broke her finger her first 10 minutes in a batting cage ever and we had to rush to an ER. Everyone at the facility was very helpful getting us ice and letting us use the staff bathroom while my daughters hand was gushing blood. Surprised she wanted to try the batting cages again but she did and it was a much better experience the 2nd time! We have never tried anything in the dome and agree it could use some food options or something to really make it a 1 stop family outing for us. Maybe a new activity to change it up since it hasn't had any additions since opening but we will continue to come here as a family for sure as long as our experiences continue to stay enjoyable. Editing review 2015 season. The go-karts are in desperate need of some repairs or replacing. Prices have gone up for a less than fun time. read more

Always liked this place. Things don't always go perfectly, but they do everything they can to make it up to you. Mini golf is fun, go karts too. The batting cages sometimes don't work well, but they always replace tokens if something goes wrong. My kids love this place. Thanks! read more

Never going to this place again in my life. #1. The batting cages are absolutely terrible. They shoot the ball too high. THEN we paid $40 for 8 rounds of go karting. They offered us a "better deal" at 6 go kart sessions for $35. Are they literally uneducated? Because that's not a better deal. Anyways we went around the go kart track one time, and we're able to drive around the tiny track 3 times ... and our group of 4, and another group of 3 younger gentlemen all got kicked out. Apparently we were bumping each other in the carts. Not only is this completely not true (and if it was we weren't doing it on purpose nor were we playing bumper carts). We were having fun. They're the slowest go karts I've ever been on anyways. The dad and his kid who were bumping people did not get kicked out. We were discriminated against by the two entitled "go kart" carnies. They claimed they blew their whistle to warn us. Well with the loud go karts I swear to god not a single one of us heard the whistle as a warning for bumping. For some reason we were all oddly clustered up for the entire race so sure, maybe we bumped into each other a few times. But NO ONE heard the whistle. If he waved his arms and yelled to stop bumping then he would have accomplished something. But he blew a petty ass whistle that nobody heard. So after 3 rounds for $40, we were flagged to stop driving and kicked out of the entire park. THEN that's not the worst part. One of the two carnies who kicked us out threatened someone who wasn't in my group. Yes, we were complaining about being kicked out and trying to argue our case. But the entitled jerks who kicked us out said "keep walking" in a threatening manner, and then proceeded to verbally threaten and abuse the other group which I wasn't in, so I do not know what was said. I will be calling when the place opens to speak with a manager and I will either get a full refund or file a chargeback with my bank. read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a date night (per my request to go putt putt golfing). Coming on a Friday night in the summer probably wasn't the best idea. There were a bunch of teenagers running around everywhere, cutting in front of people, throwing balls at the structures, it was a mess. We tried to ignore it and wait for them to do their thing and leave. We also tried out the go-karts, which I hadn't done since I was a kid! It was fun, some kids get a little rowdy and bash into you. My kart was really slow compared to the others. Not sure why that was. The facilities seem a little out-of-date. But we still had fun. They have a batting cage, go-karts, mini golf, an indoor driving range, and a trampoline bungee thing (not really quite sure what it was). It's a good place for families to come. read more

I visited Sports Zone in September of this year, and I was deeply disappointed and very upset by the state of this "recreation park." There were numerous safety concerns including but not limited to exposed (and live wires) on the golf course as construction workers were working on a light (and that area was not closed off), the entire place was run by teens who were too busy socializing to do their jobs, and numerous other concerns involving the Go Carts and the Bungee Jump area. It was such a horrific experience to try and get a hold of a manager (or anyone over the age of 18, really) that I won't go into any more specifics, however, when my party finally got a hold of an adult, we managed to get a hold of the owner. Finally, when we felt we were getting somewhere, and thought the safety concerns were going to be addressed, the owner, Tom, ended up being more rude, disrespectful and crass than any of the teenagers at the park (or anyone I have ever met, really). I would understand if we were asking for something unreasonable, but we just wanted basic safety issues resolved: exposed wires put away, off limits/unsafe roadways for the go karts properly blocked off, and bungee jump riders to meet the correct height and weight requirements so they didn't fly out (i.e. toddlers). When these things were asked, we were laughed at and dismissed. If you go here, please be careful, keep your eyes open, and your kids close. read more

GoKart fans, this is well worth the drive! I spent a good part of last summer touring the Chicago metro area for quality GoKart tracks. It wasn't until after a lot of googling I found this one. The track is interesting, the Karts go relatively fast, and the staff isn't overly uptight about a little bumping. The only problem is their cars are completely mismatched as far as speed, so I'm lucky if I get to actually race my friends. Aside from GoKart, Sport Zone also has Mini Golf, Batting Cages and an indoor dome that they user for soccer, golf and many other sports. This business must be relatively new, because overall the facilites are in great condition. If you go here in the middle of the day during summer, it will likely be busy, and their current lot is a little small - just a warning. Been frequenting this place lately as my 7yr old son has discovered their go karts and that's all he wants to do now. It is $6 for a 5 minute session, and if you buy 5 rides you get 6 (for $30). The track is decent with a good layout, and they have Jr karts for kids ages 4-8 (if tall enough to reach the pedal). One issue is there is a pretty big difference in speed from car to car, so picking a fast one is important (if you ate competitive). They also have 2-seater cars so adults/teens can take younger kids (over 36") out for a spin. read more

Nice place to play mini golf and batting cages in Oswego. It is in a weird spot, right next to the giant soccer dome next to a storage facility though, but once you find it everything is good. Prices are not bad and employees are friendly. The mini golf course is nothing too special, but it is fun and cool that it goes up and down a hill, although there are no real fun obstacles (like a windmill) on the course. This place is good but the kids they hire to run it are strange..., it rained and they let the karts go off to the track there were few karts that skidded of the track and bumped into each other ....so they cut the race short and now if some one from the crowd had not spoken they would have cheated on the time people should be driving those carts..., Immediately they stopped the karts and waited for the storm to pass ... So went to exchange e the tickets for mini golf the price on everything is same but they will not let you use the kart tickets for mini golf or the batting cage..... Few policy changes and better staff is what they need. read more

i went here for a party and the bathroom wasn't clean , one of the bands had ripped on one of my friends while she was on bungee , then we headed to the go karts and mine constantly kept turning off i would raise my hand like the speaker said and it would take the worker so long to get to where the cart had turned off , i don't recommend to have a party there read more

Great to still find an outdoor batting cage! Plenty of cages with different speeds. Go carts were a blast and mini golf as well. We also played a baseball tournament in the dome there recently. read more

we like to bring our grandkids here because we can all play mini golf and ride the go karts without anyone being left out. They've added bungee jumping and a 2 or 3 hours wristband for unlimited golf, carts or bungee jumping so everyone got their fill. My only insignificant complaint today was that they seemed to be short staffed. The young man working the bungee jumping had to run back and forth to help with the go karts and then come back and harness in the jumpers. The first time around my granddaughter seemed too short to reach her gas pedal. I think she should have checked everyone before they let them go. She finally figured out how to adjust her seat to reach the pedal. The second time she had a hard time attaching her seat belt and the young man was paying no attention to me standing on the side calling and asking to help her. He finally went over to help her. Both young men were very polite it just seemed like maybe there should have been a couple more employees to work both areas. Also, instead of filling all the carts and moving the crowd they would just send out 5-6 at a time (management rule maybe?). Still, as I said, insignificant. We had a good time doing all the fun things and we will return. read more
