This place is OK. I first came here to get a passport picture taken a few months ago. I called to ensure that this was a service they provided and then drove up the hill. I waited in line for 10 minutes and then they told me they were all out of film. (They couldn't have told me that when I was on the phone with them previously?) The most recent encounter I have had with them was yesterday when I specifically left work early to get a legal document notarized. Their hours are from 10am-6pm so instead of going before work I had to leave work early to get there before they closed. I walked in right before 6 and the guy said that the notary is only there from 1-5. Basically just because they are open does not mean that they offer all the services listed during those times. I ended up looking around and finding another place down the street to take care of my post-office and notary needs. If you are driving by the place and they are open I'm sure you could buy some stamps and print some documents - but I wouldn't count on it. read more

I do a lot of online clothes shopping, which means lots of returns to different stores that use different shipping companies. Here I can drop off everything in one place, whether it's for UPS or FedEx or USPS. Super convenient, but the best part is that (most) everyone here is friendly and the store itself is darling with little gifts and fun things. I'm glad I live so close by, but even if I didn't, I would still go out of my way to come here. read more

This is a great place for mail. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to meet whatever mail/shipping needs you might have. The owner is very kind and often has her cute dog at the site. The staff are regulars and get to know the customer's needs. The only downside is that sometimes it can get very busy and there is a line. read more

3 stars. Normally I'm getting 5 star service here. I actually prefer mailing out of this place than the Playa Del Rey Post office, because of the good customer service and always helpful attitude. But yesterday I could not believe that they charged me $1 a page to print, and I printed 3 pages. I still can't believe it. I mean if you're going to charge $1 a page you should have better paper selection, and for goodness sakes ALWAYS provide INK. My resume was printed out and you could barely read it, the ink was so low. Unfortunately I was in such a hurry I didn't have time to tell this to the woman, but jeez. I definately over paid for this crap. And I won't be printing there ever again. I might still drop my mail off. We'll see. read more

I walked in today (while LA is in the middle of a spike in Covid cases) and was shocked to see 3 people in the span of a couple minutes walking around without masks on and no one batting an eye. Then I looked up and saw that one of the workers, who I believe is the owner, was not wearing one either and probably sending the message to these customers that this is okay. I'm high risk and due to give birth in less than two weeks so this was terrifying to me, so I turned around and walked straight back out. From now on I'll be giving my business to somewhere that cares about the safety of their customers. I suggest avoiding this business if you're high risk. read more

Dropped off a prepaid UPS envelope to on Friday evening knowing the envelope should be picked up and scanned by a UPS driver the following Monday. Checked the tracking information on Tuesday and my envelope doesn't appear to have been picked up and scanned by the UPS driver. Spoke to the associate at the store inquiring about my envelope and they did not know where my envelope went or who has it. Made me contact UPS to file a missing package claim when they were the last ones with it. NEVER TRUST THIS OFFICE WITH ANY OF YOUR SHIPMENTS, THEY MAY COME UP MISSING! read more

This place has risen from the worse-than-dead place it was. Now it's a pleasure to go there for any needs, and they do lots of things including mass shredding. The owner is friendly and very helpful as is the young man sometimes there. I'm writing this review because I really hope this business makes it here in Playa, they deserve to make it as they've cleaned up the giant mess that was there and run an efficient, friendly business. The staff is so friendly, they do all the work for you (they even wrap your item), they have all the supplies you would typically need and they use all the main shipping carriers. The prices are standard and it's usually never crowded. It's a stress free place for getting anything shipped, I highly recommend it! read more

I started using the varied services at Playa Postal Center last Christmas after I waited in an almost unending line of unhappy customers at my local U.S. Post Office, only to find the lone clerk was "out of Xmas stamps" & very grumpy & stressed out. I then started sending packages out from Playa Postal, whose employees handled them with care which I did not feel I was over-charged for. The ultimate test of their service came about a month ago when I was handling the closing of the sale of my real estate property in Florida. Playa Postal received the documents via email from my realtor, their Notary notarized 15 of the documents for me after carefully reviewing them for accuracy, made copies of them for me & emailed the originals back to Florida. She handled the whole thing speedily & very professionally. Been using playa postal for the past 4 years and have a large mailbox here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The owner is often here too and is awesome. I come here for all of my international shipping where the staff would help me package the items and find the best shipping options. It's a local gem and beats going to the ups store. I've been dealing with some lost packages that I dropped off here for the last few weeks. I was originally concerned these guys had stolen my packages but thankfully that was not the case. Unfortunately for me, however, they are just run of the mill incompetent and gave my FedEx boxes to USPS which have now been lost for a month. Do yourself a favor and if the task requires any level of thought, take it somewhere else. read more

They're open when the USPS at the bottom of the hill is closed. Convenient location for those living at the top of the hill in PDR.

This place is very handy with about anything you may need. Fax, notary, gifts, cards. I feel my letters are safe here also. I drop them off when I have missed the postal person. Parking and pharmacy, food, laundry, more food. groceries, beauty shop, insurance all in a strip with parking usually available. read more
