I went to this UPS Store again against my better judgment after having several disappointing experiences in the past. Even my neighbor refuses to use this location anymore. Since I was already nearby getting food next door, I decided to give them another chance, but unfortunately, I had another frustrating experience. I brought in an Amazon return exactly the way it had originally been shipped to me -- in a sturdy, secure box with a latch. The employee told me I needed to "box it up." I explained that this was the original packaging it came in. She then changed her explanation and said it needed to be taped because of "Amazon's policies," despite the fact that I was returning it in the exact same condition it was delivered. The employee offered to tape the package, but wanted to charge me $2 just for a small amount of tape. What made the situation more frustrating was that I took the exact same package to another UPS Store afterward, and they accepted it immediately without any issues. This location consistently feels like it creates its own rules and tries to charge customers for every minor thing possible. Customer service return procedures should be more consistent between UPS Store locations, especially for simple returns. I have returned many Amazon packages in the past through different UPS Stores, Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, Kohl's, and independent mailbox/shipping stores, and none of them had an issue with this type of return. Unfortunately, this experience confirmed why I avoided this location in the first place. I've been here quite a few times to return a few Amazon packages over the years as this is the location near my house.. I never have any issues. Every time I'm greeted and treated with great respect as a customer. This review was in part inspired by my recent visit today. Two workers were helping two customers that were ahead of me in line and the blonde young woman whose name I didn't catch was extremely observant and and saw the Amazon box , knew it was an Amazon quick return and was able to sneak in scanning my phone to print a return label while attending to the other customer ! After a negative experience a while back with an Amazon return getting lost, I am happy to say the service has improved. Our recent experiences with packaging and sending items by UPS and with sending some books at the USPS media rate were excellent. The items arrived safely and on time. Service was polite and attentive. It is not inexpensive, but my time and sanity are valuable, so I'd rather pay the higher price for quality and not be waiting in multiple lines filling out multiple forms at the post office. read more

The fee wasn't clearly disclosed in advance, which made the experience frustrating and disappointing. UPS Store pricing seems to vary widely by location, and this inconsistency hurts customer trust. If I could give this God forsaken hell hole franchise UPS store negative stars, I would. This is, without a doubt, the most poorly run excuse for a business I've ever had the misfortune of walking into. It should be studied by business schools as an example of what not to do. I walked in with a prepaid label I purchased through Stamps.com, expecting the standard FREE flat rate UPS boxes that every normal location provides. But not this one. No, this sad little pathetic franchise has intentionally removed those boxes so they can scam customers into paying $4.00 for one of their boxes. Then came the nickel-and-dime fiesta: * $4 for the small cardboard box * $0.50 to print the label. * $3.50 for...something? The new employee couldn't tell me what that was for. * $1.50 to put ONE STRIP OF TAPE on the box. This isn't a UPS store--it's a trap. A soul-sucking vortex where customer service goes to die and common sense has been duct-taped and thrown in the dumpster out back. I've been to government buildings with more efficiency and courtesy. Thank you, UPS Store #6778 - and particularly Jack, for the excellent customer service that I received on Saturday, November 8th, 2025. I came in about 20 minutes before closing to handle a couple of Amazon returns, plus an Old Navy return (via Happy Returns) and send out a package (that needed postage). Jack, the customer service rep, was the only one working at the store at the time - and he was handling a complicated international shipping inquiry for a customer, involving several large/heavy packages to be sent overseas, when I walked in. Despite the complicated nature of this request, Jack remained calm and continued to be helpful the whole time - even though, after about 10 minutes of trying to make the shipping work, it proved to be too expensive for the customer to ship. When it became my turn to be assisted next, Jack politely inquired which services I needed and promptly handled each one efficiently and effectively - all with a line that had formed given the complicated request that had preceded me. And despite having about 5 people now in line with a mere 10 minutes left before closing, Jack continued to remain calm, polite, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. I never felt rushed, hurried, or like he needed to shortchange my requests in order to get through everyone who was still in line before closing. I appreciate how calm, cool, collected, and helpful Jack remained through my entire time while visiting your store - and this is why I continue to visit and to take my business to your store, given the excellent customer service that I receive there, from friendly & helpful people like Jack. Horrible service and scams. I walk in with a box to this place and I forgot my printed label. When I look at it I realize it's usps and I apologize and started to leave. The lady with small built and glasses tells me we take it. It is however $3.60 for print. Which I agree to. When I came to pay she told me $9. And I ask her why? For putting a taping the label I. The box. Are you kidding me? I walked out and only paid for the paper that I already had in my car. I told her that you should have told me it's not 3.60 and it's 9. This is bad To respond to to your respond. My child is a 5 year old that took one business card and draw something on it while I was trying to send an email to you address. It is actually $3.90 with tax and would have been additional $4 to tape the label you print. She never told me from the beginning that that both taping and printing are additional cost total of $8.90. I wasn't gonna use my spit to tape the label. And I am hoping she is smart enough to know that. Either way I paid for the $3.90 which I agreed to not know there is gonna be addition later. I mail a lot of things and I am so happy to take my business else where. This is the first time that they tried to charge me for the label they print and charge me for it. Summary: Good for shipping Bad for printing Good employees Grumpy owners I used to love going to this UPS store for all my printing and shipping needs. It was always convenient and easy to get things done. However, since the ownership changed a few years ago, the experience has gone downhill. The two new owners have poor customer service. The male owner has a mean demeanor- like he is about to beat up the customer if they ask for the shipment to be delivered or a print. Both owners which create an uncomfortable atmosphere. Good thing he is usually in the back. The female owner tries too hard to be overly jolly and talkative. Once I tried self printing and the machine jammed- and she walked over to give me a lecture. I'm a lawyer, I've printed for years- I know how to print. They've also increased prices, now charging $0.55 for a black-and-white print. On the bright side, the experience is much better when the owners are not there. The employees are professional, friendly, efficient, and get things done quickly. I will continue to go for shipping because it's close to my gym, yet I will never go there again for printing. For printing I will go to Mike's UPS store on Sepulveda. It takes a little longer there because of parking and because they are so busy there, but both the owner and staff are professional. read more

Stuck in line for 30 minutes for a simple Amazon return. The rep sensed my frustration and helped me quickly when I finally (after an eternity) made it to the front of the line. A simple first in, first out approach is not an efficient solution for handling a line that was probably 50% 20-second or less transactions. Tl;dr: if there's a line outside the door, don't wait. This is in response to the store owner's reply to my review. He acts like a narcissist by twisting and turning the facts so I attached his e-mails to prove what I'm saying is true and show his true colors. He said my mailbox was terminated early for "disruptive behavior." But look at his definition of what's disruptive behavior. "Continuously complaining and arguing about fees, what is legal, making various claims and threats based on opinion, and deliberately trying to hurt the store's reputation, is disruptive behavior." I never actually complained about the fees. I wrote on the addendum they tried to force on me by refusing to hand over my mail until I signed it what I thought about it then politely told them they were illegitimate when they charged me another hidden fee months later. I've never made any threats against the store. If you look at the store owner Jesse's first e-email to me, you can see he threatens me to take my Yelp review down. He says I deliberately am trying to hurt the store's reputation. All I did was expose what was going on there. The fact that they're the only UPS Store in the area charging the mailbox holders hidden fees and treating them with contempt is what's hurting their reputation. Along with their horrible customer service. Not anything I did. So in essence, if you complain once about any policy they have here they'll terminate your contract no matter how long you paid for and refuse to refund you. Don't take my word for it, I've attached the actual proof. As you can see by the owner's e-mails he says: "Key deposits are not taken for mailbox holders, so there is no deposit to refund." He even tried to lie about this. One, I have the receipt. Two, every other UPS Store charges a key deposit. Considering they charge every fee imaginable here are we to believe this is one he wouldn't? And no one would return the key if there was no deposit so this is completely unbelievable. Well, I contacted the UPS Store corporate headquarters and it turns out this store owner violated the franchise policy on multiple issues here. If you feel your rights as a customer have been violated their phone number is (800) 789-4623 or just do a search for "UPS Store customer service." If this store has violated UPS Store policy they'll file a complaint with the area manager and if it's still not taken care of they'll continue to escalate it. read more

Do not go in this store. They are called UPS, they wear shirts that say UPS store, yet when your packages are not delivered, they claim they are not UPS. They just have UPS as an option for shipping. I shipped two large boxes on Monday, Dec. 18. to be delivered to Georgia. I asked to make sure the items were received prior to XMAS. The clerk said I had to pay for quick delivery guaranteed for Thursday, Dec. 21. I paid, get ready, $722.33 for two boxes of toys and clothes to make sure it was there on Thursday. One box arrived on Friday, 12-22 and the other is not being delivered until AFTER CHRISTMAS on 12-26. This is ridiculous as the box has been sitting in Georgia in Atlanta since yesterday and Atlanta is only a two (2) hour drive to Augusta. Additionally, they do not deliver on weekends and no one told me that. When I called UPS they gave me the run-around, so I went into the store where they were rude, and took no responsibility (the female clerk rolled her eyes - she is part owner - great ownership values). They take your money, but do nothing else once the box leaves the store. The worst part is I tipped the guy $40. on Monday because he was assuring me by paying the EXTRA costs my packages would arrive on time. To be clear, the package should not have had an up-charge to arrive on time in the first place, as I was two days earlier than the UPS National cut off day for on time XMAS deliveries. The whole thing is a SCAM. Rude, Lies, OVER PRICED - Fedex is going to get my business exclusively. UPS SUCKS and this STORE IS RUDE. read more

Let me first start off by pointing out how weird it is that they're asking for tips here... what mail service does that? Went here to print my resume before an important interview. I arrive and wait in line- when it's my turn I let the employee know I would like to print. She shares the email I'll need to send my document to and I do so immediately. After a few minutes she tells me she doesn't see it- I send it to my partner to make sure it's not my service/phone having any issues. He receives it right away so we let the employee know that maybe it's their server error, not mine as I've sent it twice now. She claims there's no way that's possible. My partner send a copy of resume over too and we continue to wait. After around 10 minutes she finally receives it and begins printing in between helping other customers around us. She hands me the copies of my resume and there are ink splotches and lines on each one with the exception of the last copy where half of it the lettering has been cut off. When I let her know it looks like there's some ink from the printer she claims this is how it appears on the screen and it's no fault of the printer. My partner and I both show her the clear file and she continues to claim it's the way my file is. I ask why or how would I put inconsistent ink splotches on my professional resume and she finally agrees to reprint. It happens again (the ink in another pattern this time) and she claims it's my file and she refuses to print again- mind you we would still be paying for the end result. We left. The employees behavior was extremely unprofessional and I really can't get over asking for tips at a mail carrier. Wild. read more

Horrible Customer Service! Angela and Jesse, the manager, lack customer service skills and are not helpful at all. I entered this location and requested a UPS Express envelope to ship a document. Rather than provide the free UPS envelope Angela attempted to sale shipping and packing envelopes. I let her know that I simply needed one envelope to ship a document that I didn't have at the time. However, since the UPS store was conveniently located next to my doctors office I figured I could resolve the need. This was a complete waist of time as they were only trying to sale their shipping products rather than resolve my need as a consumer. Consequently, I had to go to another UPS store and was provided with the Express envelope with no questions asked. I then called this location to express my concerns when I spoke with Jesse, the manager, who dismissed my concerns, lacked empathy and failed to listen to what I had to say. They need to undergo training on how to provide a better customer experience as consumers keep you in business! Do not use this location if you value receiving good service. read more

UPDATE: Jesse, thanks for a quick response only to put it on your customers yet again, I see where your employees get this "customer is always wrong" attitude. In the Amazon return process, it clearly states "UPS will pack, label, and ship your return for free. Just bring the item in its original manufacturer's packaging." FYI original manufacturer's packaging is NOT shipping packaging, as most manufacturers ship their items in ziplock bags. The UPS store is responsible for that end of the deal. Photo for proof. I'm writing this review after SEVERAL terrible encounters with this UPS store and many of their employees over the course of a year. Do NOT bring your Amazon returns here and do NOT get any printing/scanning services done here! Drive down the street to fedex where the prices are more affordable and the people actually care about customer service. The blonde lady with the short hair gaslights me every time I have an Amazon return - she's so quick to blame something with my Amazon account if her scanner doesn't read my QR code. She tried to tell me the QR code was for bundled returns, but she was completely wrong. Amazon creates a unique code for each item being returned. On top of the shitty customer service, they try to force you into purchasing their overpriced boxes. This place makes my blood boil every time; I regret ever going.
