I went to see Book of Mormon and while the play was mildly entertaining it was torture to sit in their seats. I am 6'3" but generally do not have a problem with seats on planes or cars. The seats are so tight my knees are jammed against the seat in front of me. I could not wait for the intermission and the end it was so uncomfortable. It really took away from my ability to enjoy the play. read more

My daughter gave me tickets to a show at the Playhouse. I am immune compromised because of treatment I receive for the disease. At the time I was given antibody injections that offered me protection. Since then my doctor told me the antibody injections were not effective for the variants. I tried to get a refund or a credit for a future show. They offer NO refunds or exchanges ever! I tried to sell them for a reduced price. No interest, I checked they still have seats available. Many of their customers are seniors, I would think they would care more about our safety, but NO they care about making money. I will never buy another ticket from them. I advise all seniors to be aware of this policy. read more

Went to see the Coasters, Drifters & the Platters 2-24-18 at the Playhouse Theater (Great show BTW). Had front row mezzanine which I thought would be great seats !!! Wrong !!!!! from the front of the seats to the wall in front of you it is 8 inches (yes, I measured it) and then at the bottom of the wall there is a 3 in protrusion you need to keep you feet under your seat. I am 6' even, I could not even sit in the seats. Had to spend the entire concert in the back of the room. I said something to one of the ushers and she said : "It really sucks doesn't it, the owners really don't care". read more

I went there to see Bill Maher. First the theater. No cameras allowed so I was bummed out. Yet people were taking pictures left and right of Bill and no one did anything. So there I was left without any pictures because I am honest and law abiding. The theater is hell on earth. The seats are tiny tiny tiny tiny and I really mean tiny. I am 5 10 and 200 lbs and I could not move due to the two fat dudes on each side of me. read more

Penn Cinema definitely has the better deals compared to other movie theaters in the area however they really really need to redo their seats. I always bring a towel when I come here to cover the seat because there's so much ripped leather. I just can't imagine sitting down where sweaty, dirty people probably sat before me and all of that soaking into the seat. It just doesn't feel very clean there and I wish they would fix that if they could. And I understand probably being on a low hourly paycheck, the staff doesn't seem really enthused to be there. But at the same time, I don't feel like the theater gets very crowded. Not to the point where they would be constantly busy so I just feel bad. It was a wonderful theater when it opened, and still can be, it just needs a revamp of certain things.

There are escalators that take you to the screenings, alongside the wall there are huge Oscars shaped statues which are a nice addition to decor. Prices are reasonable and the seats are mostly recliner and well spaced out from the row before and after. The staff has always been super friendly, helpful and intentful.

Just saw Mel Brooks "the Producers". First was the dinner. It has been a long time that we were somewhere that our server was also in the play and seemed so genuinely glad we were there. Food was surprisingly good. Served hot and well cooked for all of the offerings. Service was fun every time someone came to the table. Oh by the way there is an excellent bar with a bar tender that certainly has earned his stripes. Now the Show. This has always been one of my favorites, a go to for on demand. Being in this theatre, watching these talented actors made the time go by so fast we wanted more. I found myself leaning in to the dancing and singing and it was spectacular. The sets, the props, the costumes, the lighting, the sound, and being able to just plain enjoy made the night. They have special one night performances as well. These show are such a fantastic value. By the way seating is one of the things I really liked. We were seated with 4 other people that we left as our new friends.

You can get all of them or tell your waiter what you don't want on your plate if you know you dont like something or to keep it lighter. Follow that with a dessert or 2, coffee and tea. All included. During intermission, they did a 50/50 raffle. The show was good, and the performers all had such good vocals. It must be popular. They told us most upcoming shows are sold out. I would return.

The car show gets a few hundred cars. If you want to enter your car it's $20 cash at the gate. They give you a small tin plaque and a registration card for your window. Since my car isn't winning any awards I don't stay till 3 pm to await the judges choices. My car is nice, but not prize winning nice but that's ok. It's a fun few hours. It got too hot by noon to stay longer. Weather in early May is tricky. Highly recommend checking out the car show. The general store on the grounds is huge. Bought lots of stuff to take home.

Linvilla orchards is an amazing place to bring family and kids of all ages. They have so many…read moredifferent activities like fruit picking, animal zoo, pet feeding, children playground, all for free. There's also a beer garden for adults that opens around noon. There's also a a market that sells freshly grown fruits, vegetables and local made goods. There's also a garden and gift shop selling a lot of the local artisan products. Lots of parking available around the main entrance area. We went early in the morning around 10am. We spent most of the first few hours walking around the zoo that had a huge chicken range, duck pond, cow, goats, sheep and horses. There are vending machine to buy corns to feed the animals. We had to get our own quarters as the coin exchange machine was broken. Around the noon we head to the Linvilla Grill. They had some good pizza and chicken tenders. There were few outdoor benched to dine. Price was little steep. The freshly squeezed lemonade was outrageous. They make the whole thing by grinding lemon right in front and put it in a huge plastic 32 oz jar. It is so worth for $8. We also bought some peaches and cooking sauces from the market. Cash is preferred, for credit card they charge fee at the market checkout.
