Came here about a week ago and I was actually pleasantly surprised. There is plenty to do here and you can follow your kids everywhere they go. They did a really good job to have it be very family friendly and not just a spot for the more mobile kids. Obviously there are some areas they can improve upon like fixing certain play areas that have seen some abuse. Hopefully they do get on it and fix the remote control excavator area. All in all we stayed probably close to 2 hours even with our little. Definitely would come back!!!! It seemed like they do a decent job walking through and wiping things down too.

I'm in love with this place! This location is only a few months old, so it is clean and new, spacious and vibrant. The place is massiveeeeee and beautiful, and there is sooooooo much to do and see and play with. I know my toddler (who is almost 2) loved it so much, but I did not realize how much I would love it, too. (100% yes we bought a 10-pack here!) Parking is not bad (depending on when you arrive) and it is very close to the 5 freeway, making it so convenient for everyone. I did not try the food at the little cafeteria, but one of the dads there told me it is not bad? We shall see on one of my other visits! If you have a kid and love air conditioning, this place is a must.

This place is huge! There's so much for kids to do, and my kids stayed busy the entire time. I especially liked that there are areas for different ages, so both of my kids had fun. We'll definitely be coming back.

This place is so big, so bright, so clean and so much to do! I have never seen that many interactive station before. Such as a car wash station where the kiddos put on rain gear to hose down cars, grocery shopping, slides, sand pit, library, hospital with CT scan machine. You can dress up as fire fighters. Mechanic horses. Axe throwing, basketball like carnival games. Your ticket includes reentry. We left for lunch and came back. They have a Cafe if you want to eat there. Tickets cost $35 per kid and $6 adult add on. We stayed a total of 6 hours to make it worth it.

Worth every Penny! This place is huge. We didn't even get to explore the entire space because there is so much to do. My kids loved the slides, so many of them. I thought the water play area was so cool. The kids can wash dump trucks inside a room where they wear a raincoat and rain boots. Plus there's a water table too. The kitchen/grocery area was also a hit. So many food items, not like other places where all those get lost and not replaced. The area is really well kept, clean, and sanitary. There's a cafe with basic snacks and some hot items like hot dogs. I love that you can re-enter anytime during the same day.

Oh my goodness! When I tell you even I enjoyed this place as an adult!! My kid loved this place. They have anything you could possibly think of. They have a water play area, crawl tunnels, slides, jumper area, grocery store area, a medical area and fun games and much more! They are constantly cleaning and keeping the place very clean. It was very packed on a Sunday when I went but since the place is so big, it didn't feel crowded. The pricing for my toddler, me and my husband was $30 which in my opinion wasn't that expensive. I've been to a lot of indoor playgrounds and it's about the same price. The staff were friendly and my only complaint would be the parking! They have parking in the front and in the back side.

Came to their soft opening today with the youngest kiddo and he had a great time. They opened at 11am for their first day, and it was $35 for a child and $6 for an adult. Spend as long as you want here, wasn't crowded at all. It reminds me of a hybrid indoor playground with a pretend city feel. Police station, farm, firetruck, large kitchen, shopping center, library, hospital, car repair station, party rooms, theater area, and lots of slides, tunnels, bounce house, arcade games and wall climbing zone. Tons of good fun (can spend at least 2-3 hours as the place is HUGE) and we've been waiting for this place to open! It's finally available! Admission is a bit expensive but that's the price you pay for a NEW indoor experience for the kids! :) Bonus: they have a water play area with a pretend car wash & splash zone - there are waterproof jackets, pants and booties prepared for the kids, including slippers for the adults so you don't get your socks wet. They are really thoughtful about the experience! They also have a cafe inside in case the kids get hungry or thirsty. Plenty of seating in the cafe area. FREE parking!

We've been to the Playpie in Buena Park a few times, but this one is bigger and better. We came all the way out here for a birthday party and were immediately surprised by its size. I would venture to say it's twice if not almost thrice the size of the BP one. I'll highlight some things below: * Play Kitchen/Grocery Area: This is all the way to the rightmost side of the building from the entrance. There's a garden, multiple cooking stations and two sections that hold various food items. My toddlers loved this area the most. I loved that there were screens with recipes and checklists, so you can search and scan items to then "cook" the food. This would be fun for elementary-aged kids who love scavenger hunts. There's also a little closed "sand" with three remote-controlled diggers, but unfortunately, none were really working correctly for that to be fun for the kids. Pretend Play: There's a section with a fire truck and an interactive water gun screen game. It's arcade-style in that you can play as one of four firemen and shoot your water gun towards to screen to put out buildings and fires. To the right of that is a small section with a momma cow and baby cows where you can "milk" the mom and feed the babies (it's all water, of course). A little further down back near the entrance is a little mechanic section with a raised up car, another arcade-style horse game (up to 4 players) and four smaller rocking horses for the littles to ride on screen-free. Playgrounds: So many playgrounds. I think the one near the play kitchen is geared to the smallest kids with its padded and lower slides, a building block wall, and rocking toys. Past the entrance to the left is another playground section with an interactive screened ball pit, and ball tube machines. There are various obstacle-style pits, zip line-style pulls to get across and a LEGO-inspired slide. All the way to the far left is a huge open-air jumper with Super Mario-style moving parts as you scale yourself across the wall. There is another castle-like jumper next to that. Cafe: In the far back left wall from the entrance is a cafe section that serves hotdogs, fries, pizza, slushies and drinks including coffee. They have 4 Stokke-style seats for littles and rounded tables that can seat up to four people. There is a horse carousel for photo ops and a little pit section with wooden beads, trucks, shovels and a slide, perfect for littles as you relax. Party Rooms: As you follow along the back wall from the cafe, you'll find 3 large party rooms. Depending on your plan, they'll set up everything including string goodie backpacks, drinks, etc., or you can bring your own stuff. Signs outside the room state time (most were 1.5 hrs). They provide you with a cart to cart out all your stuff when the time is up, which can be helpful if you still have food and drinks for latecomers (ahem, speaking from experience). Water Play / LEGO wall / Library / Restrooms: Further to the back right corner from the party rooms is a huge LEGO-style wall where you can create all kinds of things, a small water section where you can put on raincoats to stay dry as you play with water, and a small library with some seating. The library section wasn't as big and varied as the one in Buena Park, and the books mostly suited younger children most (from toddler to elementary). Restrooms were in the far back corner and I liked that, just like the BP location, they provided slippers for the adults and children. Restrooms are clean, and they had a small potty insert, ladder at the sink, and baby changing station for the littles. My only complaint was that the trashcan in the women's restroom really stunk; on busy days, they really need to change that more often since there are many babies too. I was there for roughly four hours and only saw someone in there doing soap as it neared evening. Overall, this was a nice place for the kids, but be aware that it's definitely geared more towards maybe four year olds and up. My son was on his way to 3, but there are just some things that he could play with, whereas my daughter was more engaged with everything. For full benefit, I would say that kids 4-12 (TK through 5th grade) would have the most fun, speaking from my own experience. This is definitely a place to check out if you're in the area. They do charge for adults, but that's the norm at all their locations. You are free to leave and enter for the day, so it makes for a good day of play if it's a hot day outside too.

I'm honestly furious about how this was handled. We visited last Saturday and the place was extremely hot and packed. We later found out the AC was BROKEN -- yet no one at the front desk said a single word when we checked in. AC can break. I 100% understand that. But if you're running a business for CHILDREN, how do you not warn parents before letting them in? Had we been told, we would have immediately left for our child's safety. Kids were drenched in sweat, adults' clothes were soaked, and within just 30 minutes, my 2-year-old was sweating heavily and felt extremely hot. We had to grab him and leave. Look at the photos -- does this seem acceptable for a children's facility? The broken AC isn't what made me angry. The complete lack of communication and concern for children's safety is. If your business is built around kids, their safety should never be an afterthought.

We love playpie! My son is only one so a lot of it really is for bigger kids so I have to do everything with him/for him which is fine for me but for sure geared towards 3+ Lots to do, love seeing the staff walking around and cleaning just hope it's also being sanitized. They also have a food court area, we have not tried the food but it looks decent. Great party rooms which I'm sure one day we will use! The parking lot is pretty rough not going to lie sometimes hard to find parking and it's kinda falling apart. It does get pretty hot In there I always leave sweating, wish they could crank the AC a little more As a mom I would love to see their posted cleaning schedule and what they do to give piece of mind For a one year old it's kinda expensive just cuz we have 1.5 hours max to be able to play before he needs to go home so that would be nice to be considered for something less but for a kid who can go hours and hours it's more worth the price

I have been to a dozen play places over the last ten years between here, San Diego and Temecula; it should be criminal to charge for a supervising adult, WHO CANT PLAY ON THE STRUCTURES in the first place. This is predatory. For one parent and two kids, plus tax, we're talking $100 for a couple hours! For a couple bucks more, I can spend the entire day at a massive theme park like sea world or legoland. I will not take my son here again or recommend this place until this insane pricing policy changes. And to see there are barely enough staff to manage the crowd and almost no seating for parents, this is poor business and customer experience. An indoor playground shouldn't cost as much as a a fully operating theme park with rides and a hundred employees. Do better. read more

Extremely disappointed with this facility. The facility was unbearably hot, and we initially assumed it was due to overcrowding on a really hot day. We later found out from the workers that the AC has been broken for over a week, yet guests were not informed. The portable fans that the owner mentioned in one of the reviews were completely useless, and they offered no compensation. We essentially lost our money & left early. They are lucky no child fainted from the heat. This is a serious safety issue and I will not be returning. read more

Amazing indoor playground for kids of all ages! Super clean, safe and full of fun activities including slides, ball pits, obstacle game and car wash room which are my son's favorites. Staff are friendly and constantly sanitize the facilities. Dining area including coffee and snacks. Plenty of seating for parents to rest. I have 6 and 9 years old kids, they never want to leave, we'll definitely return over and over again! Will keep eyes on if they have monthly membership and will recommend to family nearby! read more

This location opened just a few weeks ago and took the spot of an old trampoline park. It is the largest indoor play place I have ever seen. It's pricey so not an every weekend type thing, but it's so worth it on occasion. I was here with my 2 year old for 3 hours. They have everything from obstacle courses, slides, reading area, softplay, and water tables. It has obvious draw so I recommend getting there right when they open. I got here about 15 minutes after opening and there was already a line out the door. It was afternoon by the time we left and the place was so packed there was nowhere to put your diaper bag or shoes. Since there's no time limit, you can really stay here as long as you want and I wouldn't be surprised if this place hits capacity during the weekends. read more

PlayPie is hands down one of the best indoor playgrounds we've visited! The facility is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for kids of different ages. My children stayed entertained for hours and didn't want to leave. The staff is welcoming, patient, and always attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. We've been to Looma, We Play Loud, Little Elephant, and 10+ other indoor playgrounds, and this is our favorite by far. We have two toddlers (ages 3 and 5), and this place checks all the boxes. It's extremely clean, beautifully designed, and has a huge variety of activities to keep kids entertained for hours. The layout makes it easy to supervise, and there's something for both younger and older children. Out of all the places we've visited, this is the one we keep wanting to come back to. Highly recommend for families with young kids. read more

Would've given this place 5 stars... until I got yelled at by an employee for asking for a water refill. We had already purchased food for three children, so it's not like we walked in off the street just looking for free water. The water wasn't even for me--it was for my niece after she ran out. I wasn't asking for a new cup, just a refill of the same cup they had already given me. Instead of simply saying, "Sorry, we don't offer free refills," I was loudly scolded in front of other customers. I later found out they charge $4 for a refill of fountain water. The ironic part? There's a drinking fountain inside. So the water itself is free if you drink from the fountain, but asking to refill the same cup somehow becomes a $4 transaction. If that's the policy, that's their policy. I would've paid without any issue. What I won't pay for is being publicly embarrassed over a simple question. This location is much nicer and more upscale than the Buena Park location, and it also charges more. I expected the customer service to be better too. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. read more

Ok. This place definitely meets the hype. It is large and delivers. Padded floors, clean, plenty of space to explore. Cafe is pretty limited with menu items. Pretty much toddler food Don't get the hotdog. Stale bread and cooked on those rollers you see at 7-11. Pretty much tastes like it also Tots and tenders are decent. Didn't have the pizza. The other kids seemed to like it. Coffee - Americano was actually good! I had horrible coffee at places like this so it was a pleasant surprise. No outside food is allowed though. There is a unshaded old table outside, if you want to eat your own food. Highly recommended 4.5/5 read more

We visited this location yesterday (Monday) around 11am. Easy to find, parking is great. My kids (7 & 3) LOVED it here. It's SO clean and employees are seen walking around cleaning which is a huge plus for me. The employees were all so friendly as well! Birthday rooms are so cute. Plenty to do for all kids and it gave very Japanese vibes which is wonderful in my opinion, Very safe and so many brain stimulating activities. Snack bar churros were yummy! Will return. Plenty of parking. Check in area was fast and smooth. Lots of cubbies for shoes. Play area... AMAZING!!! I feel like they thought of literally everything for everyone. My toddler absolutely loved the water table area and car wash station. Walked by the cafe and it looked nice with lots of options but didn't have time to fully check it out. As we were leaving the staff was so sweet with my toddler who was crying cause he didn't want to leave. We will for sure be back we had a 10/10 experience. read more

Very nice place my child did not enjoy it so we did ask for a refund we received our Refund within 2 hours! The only thing I did not like that my son did not enjoy was the loud music, music was insanely loud for no reason and the amount of children allowed is ridiculous for the size of the place. I do not think children of all ages should be mixed, I went to a different play center in Texas and they had a separate location for 0-2yrs old which would be nice in this case I had 14 yrs old running around my 2 yr old. I would not be coming here due to the amount of kids and loud music. read more

I am writing to share several concerns about my recent visit to your indoor play facility. The most troubling issue involved an announcement over the intercom regarding a child who had become separated from their parents. The staff member described the child by saying he "looks like he's on the spectrum" along with identifying his race. This was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional. Autism is not something that should be assumed based on appearance or announced publicly over an intercom. Regardless of the staff member's intentions, this type of language can be hurtful, stigmatizing, and disrespectful to the child and their family. It was also very concerning how often children appeared to become separated from their parents during our visit. The number of intercom announcements suggested that the facility may be allowing too many people inside at one time. Overcrowding makes it difficult for parents to keep track of their children and creates unnecessary safety concerns. Additionally, I was disappointed with the customer service at admission. The staff members we encountered came across as rude and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone for our visit. Lastly, I find it difficult to understand why every adult is charged admission, especially when adults are there primarily to supervise their children. If adults are expected to help maintain a safe environment by actively watching their children, the overall experience should reflect that commitment to safety and customer service. I hope you will take these concerns seriously by providing additional staff training on respectful communication, reviewing your capacity limits to improve safety, and addressing the level of customer service at the front desk. Families should feel that their children are safe and that all guests are treated with respect. I will not return nor recommend Playpie. read more

We recently visited this new indoor playground and overall my kid had a good time, but the eating area really needs better management. Every time we went to the cafe to try to eat, all the tables were taken by people leaving their personal belongings there while they went off to play. It made it nearly impossible for families who actually wanted to sit down and eat to find a table. We ended up not buying any food because there was nowhere to sit. Hopefully management can come up with a better system so the dining area is available for families who are actively eating. Besides that, the place itself was great, so much for the kids to do and we saw staff cleaning often throughout our visit. read more

The place was huge and clean, and my child had a great time. The only concern I noticed was during checkout: staff did not verify that the child's stamp matched the accompanying adult's stamp. This seems like a significant security issue. Management may want to ensure that staff consistently check matching stamps before guests leave to help keep children safe. read more

We recently visited this place with our 3 kids, 8, 5, and 3. They all loved it. In the beginning the boys complained that the place looked too girly but after a few minutes they all found activities that interested them. There are so many areas for pretent play and also physical activities. The super high energy boys burnt a lot of energy jumping and going through obstacle courses. Afterwards all of them asked to go back. only downside was that we visited on a Saturday and it was very very busy. read more

Staff is very rude and acts like they dont like children, even though it's a children's environment. Prices are ridiculous, especially in this economy and charging for adults is INSANE when adults are required. What a waste of money, we play loud or playhub are the way to go! read more

Such an amazing, clean place for kids of all ages to play! they made such great use of the space and whoever designed this thing did such an amazing job. I've taken my daughter to several different indoor playgrounds and none of them could ever compare to this. This place is beautiful. The staff was nice and the whole time I was there I saw people cleaning. I would definitely recommend and will be back soon. read more

it's okay, aside from being a bit pricey you're not allowed to make adult switches. My wife who was with my child had to go, so we thought I just take over, but the front counter said it would be an additional charge even though it was still one adult. it would make sense if we were both there at the same time. read more

The goats and sheep are separated from the llamas and you can't step inside with them anymore (honestly this is probably best so kids don't get knocked out or have their clothes chewed). I personally know the cost of exotic vet care and it's not cheap, throw in the livestock vets and care and you're looking at a pretty penny. The biggest issue was the inconsistency and lack of freedom for the kids. Plenty of cupboards, covers, and storage areas were unlocked and easily accessible, so naturally the children explored them. As soon as they pulled out toys or art supplies, staff quickly took them away because they "weren't part of this week's theme." If you're going to leave things unlocked and within reach, kids are going to play with them, that's completely normal and developmentally appropriate. Instead, we spent most of our time picking up after our child and saying "no" or redirecting them. If that's the kind of experience you're looking for, this is the spot for you. If you want a place where children can actually play freely without constant intervention, look elsewhere. It also didn't feel developmentally suitable for the younger ages they advertise for. The setup created more frustration than fun, with limited open-ended play opportunities. On top of that, the cost felt excessive for what's offered. For the price, I expected more space, better variety, and far less policing of normal kid behavior. You could re-create what they offer for a fraction of what you are paying to go here for 90 minutes and have better peace of mind doing it in your own home. Save your time and money. Head to Play Pie or the New Children's Museum down in San Diego instead--both are much better options for actual play and exploration. Unfortunately, this was a waste of an afternoon for us.

No staff member present either...it was really dangerous). I've never seen Pretend City look like that before but if that's what it was like on my first visit it would scare me away! There's lots of parking but mostly in the back lot. The front lot gets full fast and many spots are reserved for other businesses. You can bring your own food/drinks to eat in their Cafe area or purchase some from vending machines. Wish they sold coffee... If you're wondering whether we really need yet another indoor playground... the answer is a big YES !! Especially in the middle of summer when it's blazing hot outside. I took my kid to PlayPie on opening weekend and even though it was pretty crowded, it was still a lot of fun! The place is huge because it used to be a trampoline park and that's why it's way bigger than most other indoor spots. They had at least three people at the front desk plus I think one of the owners helping get everyone checked in, which was nice for opening day. Once inside, the upper level had some fun extras. The kids axe throwing was a big hit (just a blowup axe with Velcro so super safe and no supervision needed). My son also loved the kids basketball area and spent a good chunk of time there. The whole layout gives plenty of room to run around without feeling too chaotic. As the day went on it got busier, but the staff stayed on top of things. They kept the place really clean with constant wipe-downs. The AC was solid too -- never got uncomfortably hot even with the crowd. I also loved the in-and-out privileges so we could step out for lunch and come right back. Super convenient! By the end my son and I were both wiped out but super happy We had a great time and we're already excited to go back soon! I also highly recommend the 10 day pass! The regular day pass is $34.95 for kids 2 and older and $5.95 for adults. The 10 day pass for 2 and up was $298 and it includes one free adult -- which saves you over $100 compared to single visits. Perfect for summer when you're trying to escape the heat and want to come back multiple times. Definitely recommend PlayPie if you've got active kids who need space to run around. Wow! This indoor playground is probably one of the best in OC. The place is HUGE with so much variety; definitely great for kids of all ages, from toddlers to older kids. They have a water play area, little rock-like stations where kids can scoop rocks into dump trucks, and the indoor playground itself has SO many slide options. Honestly, even I had a blast going on them with my kids! There's also a basketball hoop, bowling games, bullseye games, merry-go-round areas for little ones, and plenty of jungle gym structures to climb around on. You can really tell they put a lot of thought into designing this place. The facility is also very well kept. There were plenty of staff constantly cleaning, and everyone we interacted with was super friendly and nice. Parking was easy too with lots of available spaces. The only downside is the pricing. They only offer an all-day pass, which is $35 per kid. If you have two kids, that's already $70, so it definitely adds up. But seeing how big and well-maintained the facility is, I can understand the pricing a bit more. To really make it worth it, I'd recommend leaving and coming back at least twice in the same day to maximize the all-day pass. As for the food, the chicken wings were actually really good -- super moist and probably my favorite thing we ordered. The pizza wasn't bad either, though I'd say the food prices are a little expensive too. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to my mom friends and would absolutely come back! read more

Mr. Aken was absolutely incredible and made this the best birthday party we've ever had. From the moment the party started, he went above and beyond to make sure every child felt included, excited, and had an amazing time. The party host is friendly and being very helpful, the decoration is beautiful while the party room looks like high end ball room indeed. A lot of toys never get to played before. Our party was scheduled from 10 AM-12 PM, and we were given 30 minutes beforehand to set up. The crew was helpful and accommodating during that time. The train ride was also included, which was a nice addition, and the kids definitely enjoyed themselves. However, there were a few things that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Our biggest issue was how the party ended. At exactly 12 PM, while I was still busy talking with our guests, the cleaning crew suddenly came in and started stripping everything down and packing up the food and decorations without informing us beforehand. Some of my relatives told me afterward that guests who were still sitting down and finishing their food were essentially forced to get up and move to the front area while the crew began cleaning around them. I completely understand that our party time ended at 12 PM and that the staff needed to clean up for the next party. However, as busy parents trying to entertain both kids and adults, I feel that a simple courtesy announcement or heads-up a few minutes before the end would have made a huge difference. Something as simple as, "Your party will be ending in 10 minutes, and our crew will begin cleanup at 12," would have allowed us to properly wrap things up with our guests. Instead, the crew just came in at 12 and started removing everything, which felt very abrupt and uncomfortable. Another thing I found disappointing was that the kids' playtime actually ended at 11:30, even though our party was booked until 12 PM. The kids were only given 1.5 hours to play, and some children tried to go back into the play area after eating around 11:30, only to be told that playtime was already over. From my experience with other indoor playgrounds, kids are usually allowed to continue playing until the party time is over, while cleanup happens afterward. I think this could have been communicated more clearly when booking the party. For the price of the most expensive party package, I also feel that adult socks and at least one motorcycle ride per guest should have been included. Those seem like small additions, but when you're already paying for the highest-tier package, they would make the package feel more worthwhile. That said, the kids genuinely had fun, and that is ultimately what matters most. There is a lot for them to do, and the facility itself is nice and well-maintained. The staff was helpful, especially during setup, and the included train ride was a fun touch. Overall, we had a good party, but I think there are some areas where Playhub could improve, particularly communication around the end of the party, allowing kids to maximize the time that parents are paying for and adding a few more inclusions to the higher-priced packages. A little more communication and courtesy at the end would have made our experience much better.
