First time here. I showed up with a friend on a chilly, snowy Monday morning. We were on our way to…read moreanother place when we discovered it was closed, so a quick look at the map showed Kat's nearby. We decided to give it a try and were glad we did. Food They offer a wide selection of coffee drinks, and a specials board had several interesting December offerings. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte with a little lavender, a little vanilla, and extra frothy foam. My friend got a black coffee. The London Fog was very good. Not too sweet, and the texture and foam were spot on. I would have liked it in a ceramic mug, but they do not offer those. There was a small selection of bakery items. We each picked something up. The owner recommended the Banana Coffee Cake, so I went with that, while my friend chose the Chocolate Chip Muffin. The coffee cake was excellent. Moist, great texture, and the topping had a nice crunch with nuts. It would have been even better warmed just a bit. Definitely something I would order again. Service We received a super friendly greeting as soon as we walked in. There were a few other people there, but it took no time at all to get to the counter and place our order. We took our bakery items to a table in the back, and my London Fog was brought out after it had been properly steeped and finished. Atmosphere I wasn't sure what to expect. The photos online don't really capture how many relaxing seating areas there are. When you enter, you are almost immediately at the counter, with a few small tables near the front and lots of natural light coming through tall windows. A hallway leads to the back, which opens into a larger space with several seating options for small groups. It has a nice, chill vibe. Other guests were having quiet conversations, which added to the relaxed feel. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with what this place has to offer. Great coffee, a comfortable atmosphere, and excellent service. I would love to see a few more standard bakery items, like a morning bun or scone, and ceramic mugs for hot beverages would be a nice touch. I would definitely make a point to stop in again.

Looking it up online I discovered it contains oat milk, which a good percentage of celiacs, including me, cross react to. The moon milk is a "proprietary blend" they say has no allergens, but oats, rye, and barley are not considered allergens, but are not tolerated by celiacs. No way to know what their secret ingredients are. My fault for not asking The in store menu did not indicate this had oat milk. I assumed it was just milk.

My go to order is their veggie quiche, coffee cake and iced Blue Moon latte. On a recent trip I wanted to try something new and opted for their blended drink. I recommend their medium size option if you are getting an iced drink as they always get the coffee to milk ratio correct for me. My only complaint is their iced coffee drinks aren't always cold enough strangely (I have not experienced this with other coffee shops and I love iced coffee). A few times now I have ended up with lukewarm iced coffee with ice that's already halfway melted. I come here often and always hesitate for them to remake it due to this but it really takes away from my iced coffee experience. Due to the inconsistency I'm taking off two stars. I still recommend to try this shop but be prepared for a possible hit or miss experience with their iced beverages.

They've always treated me well when I came in, and that means a lot. It never felt like I was just another order or another number. I was treated like a person, and that kind of thing sticks with you. What I always appreciated most was the atmosphere. It was a place I could go, sit down, relax, and just enjoy being there. That kind of environment is rare, and a lot of that comes from the way Brittany and Dan run the place. They make people feel welcome, and they do it in a genuine way. Good coffee matters, of course, but good people matter too, and Just Brew It has both. I've always been grateful for how kind and warm they were to me, and I'm happy to leave them a great review. They did a good job with all of them. The London Fog was steeped nicely and had very good flavor. It was a little on the sweet side, so next time I'll ask for less lavender and vanilla flavoring, maybe half as much. It was served at a good temperature, around 150°F. The Mocha Latte was also very good, with a nice chocolate flavor and a decent amount of froth. I thought it was slightly on the cool side, but my wife said it was perfect for her. The Coffee Cake was excellent: moist, buttery, and loaded with cinnamon. It was a generous portion and easily enough for the two of us to share. Couple of small issues. First, they only serve beverages in paper to-go cups, without the option of an actual china mug. I much prefer wrapping my hands around a warm mug while relaxing in a café. The other is that they have a pretty limited bakery/pastry selection. Would definitely appreciate the addition of scones, or croissants. Service: Super nice people working behind the counter. We received a sincere, friendly greeting and helpful guidance with our menu selections. One staff member even came out from behind the counter to help me carry everything to the table. The staff seemed to know many of the regular customers and were able to have friendly conversations with them. You got the sense that there was genuine appreciation and connection between the staff and customers. Atmosphere: It's a large newer space with high ceilings and plenty of windows. There are lots of tables that work well for groups of two to four people. Several other small groups were there during our visit, but the noise level remained comfortable and it was easy to have a quiet conversation. They also sell additional merchandise, including honey and maple syrup. A nice place that I would gladly visit again the next time we are traveling through.

This time we slated enough time to sit down and relax for a while before having to start the day. Everything from last year was still here - including the great food and service. My wife (g-free due to Celiac) tried their Mini Banana Bread Loaf and loved it - with no adverse reactions! Their specialty espresso drinks were again excellent (Blarney Stone Latte, and a Caramel Macchiato). ORIGINAL GOOGLE REVIEW from MARCH 2024: A very nice and uniquely decorated local coffee joint. Found them this year while in town appraising for the Destination Imagination Sectional Tournament. Needed to be on-site by 06:30 on a Saturday, so I appreciated that they were open early! Decided to come in vs the drive-through option. Nice decor that looks like a cross between a Flea Market and an Antique store. I appreciate places that don't try to look like "the other guys." Very warm and intriguing. A visual feast for those of us prone to adult A.D.D.! Had places allowing small groups to sit and enjoy if they wished. As a first-timer, I greatly appreciated the online ordering option, as we were just a tad behind schedule and coming in from Bluemound in Brookfield. Was easy to navigate their site on my phone. Arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected. Was easy to locate via GPS. Inside, the staff were exceptionally friendly. Had some conversation, my (delectable!) white mocha decaf, and was on my way before my original arrival time. A nice selection of coffee shop eats are available.

What I don't like so much is the fact that there is no foyer at the entrance. When the front door opens, and if you are seated nearby, you get a blast of cold air. Not sure what they can do about that, given the fact that they are part of a strip mall.
