Gentrified faux-luxurious mega mall from the folks who brought you McMansions, the Grove and genuine mink eyelashes. "Yay! I'm a fan" of this Whole Foods, which is so large that you practically walk from one zip code to another as you transverse its wide and never-ending aisles. Complete with a tapas bar, a taqueria, the biggest hot food area I've ever seen, and regular fruit/ occasional free sushi samples, I could mooch an entire meal here. And die real happy. "Yay! I'm a fan" of the fact that there is nothing for miles around EXCEPT this mega outdoor mall and an oil refinery. "Yay! I'm a fan" of the ample parking, except during holiday time. "A-OK" I say to being able to do all of your shopping, of practically any variety, in just one place, and also enjoy any of a number of awesome restaurants on your ladylike lunch break. Plus there's a yoga studio nearby too. "Meh" to the places that have gone out of biz here.... there was a foofy garden store at one point (scored a cheap watering can there). Generally, each new place has improved upon the prior. "Meh" to the fact that since I no longer live or work anywhere near El Seg., there's rarely justification for me to haul my buns all the way here from Santa Monica. When I happen to be driving past - or even within a few miles - I will often make a detour just to stop by and peruse some of my fave stores. read more

This place ROCKS! It's clean and has all the cool stuff in one spot. I LOVE Whole Foods and go there for lunch often. I work at Rathyon so it works for me. we spend time here and in the end are glad they built this. I was concerned when they first broke ground because I didn't want to spoil the South Bay with a cheesy mall. Sweet! read more

This is a nice area to relax and shop. There are also some places to get a quick bite to each. The stores are more high end and expensive, so for me it's usually window shopping, but still fun! I really like the nice fountain areas with a bench made from tiles designed by kids. read more

When 6 o'clock strikes on weekdays, I am so ready to burn some hard earned cash. Thankfully, this shopping center is close by and provides some adequate relief. I love that these stores are new and partially deserted half the time, so everything feels clean and refreshing. And with such low foot traffic, I find that all of the employees are eager to help me because they finally have someone to bother. With plenty of parking, I don't have to worry about ridiculous ticket stubs and circling around structures. There's a nice mix of large chains and smaller boutiques. I could spend hours (and have) at Sur La Table and Anthropologie. Two minor caveats though: first, the plaza is spread out across such a large mass of land, so you have to drive like a block to get to the other end, and second, traffic gets lethal on Sepulveda around the evening. read more

We find ourselves going here more and more for our shopping and dining needs. Love the convenience of the diverse lineup and most of all the ease of parking. We have been well taken care of on multiple trips to Borders, Best Buy, Cost Plus, Petsmart , Whole Foods and La Sirena which is far in the back but not to be missed. read more

This place is really just as awesome as everyone else is saying. It's like 5 miles from my apartment and it has everything you need without being overwhelming like some of the larger malls. It's spread out into different sections which makes it feels like a small upscale strip mall. There are all kinds of restaurants to choose from. Fish, crepes, coffee, burgers... Breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert! Several clothing stores BCBG, Banana Republic, J Crew, Anthropologie... Then there are all your other needs like groceries, pet food, home furnishings, electronics. They seriously have got you covered! Plus it's just so fun to walk around this place on a nice sunny day. Where Am I!?!?! I said as I drove around this shopping center in El Segundo. I think in my head I've created this totally desolate El Segundo that doesn't have nearly as much possibility as the El Segundo that exists. I was overjoyed to discover this little gem of a shopping center after my short work day last week. My coworkers mentioned that there was an Anthropologie just down the street and so I followed my handy dandy phone to not only discover an Anthropologie but a Whole Foods AND a Cost Plus. Three of my favorite stores!!! What luck! I noticed there was also some delicious restaurants to be had at this center. Including a Marmalade Cafe and a Salt Creek Grille. I think I can fairly say that this shopping center will be my go to place on any day off early. read more

I went here for the first time today and I'm not sure what to think of this place. My first thought is that it's kind of a monstrosity, but that clashed with the fact that there's some great stores here. First, the good: There's an Anthropologie here, which was surprisingly empty when I went on a Saturday afternoon (maybe people can't find it?). The Whole Foods is huge and impressive, with a few different salad bars and they even had perfectly fluffy Dandies. Someone had the foresight to put Banana Republic, J Crew, and Anthropologie next to each other. The bad news: it really is a monstrosity. You can't park and walk around because the stores are so spread out -- you have to actually drive across streets to get between the three seperate areas. Not sure if there are sidewalks or crosswalks, but it's not pedestrian friendly. This place is 15 miles from where I live and I wouldn't go out of my way to come back again. read more

I enjoy this shopping plaza. Home Goods and World Market are 2 of my favorite stores so to have them both in the same plaza is a treat. I also really like the Whole Foods here and they have tables outside so you can eat there. It's a clean plaza and parking is free in the giant lot....it can get a bit cramped and trafficky depending on when you're there. It's still less crowded than, say, The Grove, so I enjoy shopping here. read more

I absolutely love all the stores in this mall, its a nice place, but I dont feel like its a shopping experience. Seriously, I feel like I am going grocery shopping, not shopping for clothes and things I like. I knocked it down 2 stars 1 because you can't just walk around the whole mall..you have to get in your car, drive, park, walk around one side, then get back in your car and do it again for the other side. Then you have to do it a third time for the shops in the back. Its very frustrating. 1 more star because you feel like you are at a strip plaza getting your groceries, dry cleaning, and going to CVS pharmacy. It doesn't feel like a mall at all, not even an outdoor mall. With the Avenue at the Peninsula in PV you can walk around and there are no streets in the middle of the mall/stores. The same goes with Fashion Island at Newport Beach, but this place feels like you are going to Ralphs and Blockbuster video. They have all the stores you would find at the Grove or Beverly center, but there is no department store. Its worth checking out. read more

I've been going to this dicks for while had no problems. Then I decided to buy bicycles for my Teenage boys. I used to do everything sports chalet because they had an actual full time bicycle mechanic there and they had very reasonable prices and they did wonderful work. But that's gone so I thought I give dicks a try. 1st of all we ordered the bikes and they completely messed that up but then when I drove the 10 miles to get there and the bikes weren't there like these said they were there I noticed there was to on the rack that were the right size so I said can I have those 2. The actually said no so after you jargon that they said yes but they got a tune a mop and fix them up. I found out that a guy comes in once a week who specializes in bikes and then the rest of the people are just kind of OK at it.. Get home one of the bikes immediately masses up I go in they give me a whole bunch or krapp when they told me it was worn teed and don't worry about it and finally a guy looked at it now I realize a year later they gave me a different bike back and it's a medium when I bought 2 Larges. Gear subtle differences but if you're not looking for it you're not gonna see it I happened to just see it the other day because of a lock that I was using. And like I'm really gonna go back there now and have them help me please this place is a joke do not go there for bicycle unless you know that you're You're gonna get what you pay for big time and you're gonna have horrible service when it comes to the bicycles and don't even think about that warranty I ended up taking my bike to will world and having a done correctly.. It's just one thing after another with these bicycles too. Here is funny when they were selling them to me they were the most friendly as people in the world now that I'm having problems when I went in there it was like I was some big freaking jerk that was just totally bothering them.. Like I said I'll go to dicks for some shoes or sweat shirt or something But I will never go back these guys for anything that is mechanical like a bicycle treadmill or anything of that nature... read more

The shops are a nice combination and is located next to another shopping area The Point. Anthropology, HM, , Banana Republic are some of the clothing stores here. On a Saturday is was basically dead tho, which is a worry about either of people are not aware of this shopping area or is it usually this slow? This is my favorite shopping plaza in the area. It's almost like an oasis. Fairly large stores and not a ton of foot traffic = great selection, great finds and no crowds! My husband and I love coming here because there is always a store we need to go to (whether clothing like J Crew, Banana and Anthro or Home Goods, Container Store, Best Buy and Petsmart). The dining options aren't bad, either. We tried the fish grill, which was pretty good, and I love Sammy's woodfired pizza! I will always come to shop here if and when I can. It's beautiful at night during the holidays with lights wrapped around the trees. They are developing nearby, but I hope the plaza doesn't become too crowded! read more

Plaza ES has EVERYTHING, and I love it! Lots of parking and lots of things to do... From coffee (Starbucks and Marmalade Cafe) to grocery shopping (Whole Foods) to retail (Anthropologie and H&M) to a "spa day" (hair and nail salons) to yoga.... Good outdoor mall with your typical preppy to haute hippie brands: Anthropologie, J Crew, Banana Republic and lululemon. Pretty quiet so everything is neatly organized. The best part is its proximity to LAX. About 20 minutes from here to the terminal, even with LAX traffic, so it's the perfect place to kill some time before your flight or to wait around if you're picking someone up from the clusterfuck that is LAX. read more

You can run to the bank to get some cash and then run to the Whole Foods, Best Buy, World Market, Starbucks, or get a bite to eat at Sammy's, Marmalade Cafe, etc. The plaza is always clean and is close to the 105 and 405 fwy. This is a great shopping center with plenty of free parking, eateries, sit down or fast casual and some nice anchor stores. Nice Best Buy. It has a Container Store which is pretty rare in LA. Awesome Whole Foods. Always love Veggie Grill. One of the Nicer Salt Creek Grille locations. Sur La Table is also a favorite. It can be a little difficult to get out of the shopping center onto Sepulveda in the evening rush hour, especially Friday. I wish there was another entrance, orrrr two. Hope they continue to expand this center south to Rosecrans and Sepulveda intersection. read more

Absolutely love this place! You have your Lululemon on one side. Then you have the Blow dry bar as well as whole foods on the other side...then snip-it's and wondertree kids on the other end ... All in one convenient location. How awesome is that?! read more

I've been to this plaza many times, and it's great! The venue offers various shopping selections from H&M, Lululemon, Active Rideshop, and many more. The venue also offers a great selection of restaurants including California Fish Grill, The Counter, The Veggie Grill, and many more. I love this place because it doesn't get crowded like large shopping areas, the food is great, and service across all the business are usually excellent. A great place to shop, eat, and enjoy a day anytime of the week. A must place for someone to just chill out and relax and not be worried about large crowds or long lines anywhere! read more

I love that this plaza was put in and the mix of shops and restaurants here. I frequent Lululemon, H&M and Home Goods. There's also a Dry Bar and a huge Whole Foods! The parking lots are annoying as the entry/exits are not well designed and it can take a long time to get out of a lot if you don't go down to the light. Avoid at night during the Christmas season as it's nearly impossible to exit the parking lot once your in. read more

I spend most of my time in lulu lemon athletica and bcbgmaxazria which both have excellent customer service. Love to spend my lunchtime here. There's a little bit of everything for everyone. Best buy, wholefoods, home goods, pet smart (no daycare), restaurants and shopping too. I really recommend the H&M, Bcbg, antrhopologie, jcrew, and banana republic. They are organized and well staffed and rarely super busy unlike at the local malls. Lots of places to shop and eat are located here. There is a Whole Foods market with a good selection for lunch. Easy to park. Some walking groups certain nights of the week. A yoga place. Unfortunately, the bookstore closed. A Farmer's Market here once a week but it's very small and doesn't offer that much. read more
