    Steak fajitas

Brought my kids to see the light up boats n we stopped in for dinner had a great meal steak fajitas meat not as big as most places but still very good kids had chicken tender they said was good

Large queso ($16) for a half full container...

I usually have great experiences at Plaza Mexico but I ordered takeout yesterday and was very disappointed in the portion sizes. It seems like when you order takeout they give you significantly less food for the same price. My biggest issue was with the queso I ordered... I ordered a large queso with chips ($16) which already is a crazy price but the container with the queso was only half full. I cannot recommend ordering takeout from this restaurant as it is just not worth it.

    Steak fajita.

La peor Fajita de steak que he probado en todo el año. The worst steak fajitas I've tried all year. Avoid them at all costs! The beef is pre-cut (not sure what cut, but definitely not skirt or flank) and far from quality. Because it's pre-cut before hitting the grill, it comes out overcooked, rubbery, leathery, and sometimes even burnt. They attempted to fix our order, but it was beyond saving. Also, steer clear of the agua chile--it's just a bowl of overly spicy shrimp drowned in lime juice."

I saved the rice and beans afterwards because it was so good. And the Tacos al Carbon were amazing!! Literally the best we've ever had - including at some of the best NY restaurants. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it took almost an hour to get our food. We came New Year's eve for lunch so it became busy, but I wish the management had planned better and not just had one server (later they added a second). Def eat here!

It was right when they had opened so that's the main reason for the little traffic. The decorations were nice and colorful and the music was perfect. It was a good mix of classical and modern day music. Everything was very clean. The food was fresh and delicious. My wife liked the idea that the lengua was cooked then grilled. The ceviche was very fresh. The cheese stayed melted and the "cheese pull" was a 9 out of 10. The steak was perfectly seasoned and super tender. The burrito filling was a good balance and stuffed with meat. This restaurant ensures that the protein out-weighs the veggies and not too many places do that. This was highly awesome and, not to mention, filling. We had a couple of cervesas but they didn't have it in a draft; bottle only. I also ordered the margarita w/ cononita and a passion fruit Mojito. The mojito was freshly made and strong . Just gotta drink it fast because of the paper straw . Overall, I will definitely be coming back for the amazing food... AND THE DRINKS!

The ambience is nice and homely, nothing too complicated but more than enough space for a family dinner. Beautiful decorations inside that celebrate El Salvador. Everyone who works there is super sweet and make sure all your needs are met and explain the menu very well. The pupusas are nuts and huge, stuffed to the brim overflowing with cheese and whatever topping you picked. They are so hot and fresh they could sear your lips off genuinely. You watch them cook it fresh on a large stove/ grill and bring it to you in baskets. The cheese they use is salty and delicious and we reallly enjoy the lorroco, jalapeños, and spinach add ins. Don't skip on the sides, their yuca fries are super crispy and thick and I love the crema and plantains. The plantains are almost caramelized and have a decadent sweetness to them that goes so well with the crema. The refried beans are also amazing! Definitely best pupusa spot in Frederick and they are so generous with the stuffing.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their friendly, attentive service. The bartenders were fantastic, crafting delicious drinks and making the happy hour experience even more enjoyable. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Whether you're stopping by for appetizers and cocktails or sitting down for a full meal, you won't be disappointed. I also loved the outdoor patio seating, which is pet-friendly, making it the perfect place to bring your four-legged companion while enjoying the beautiful weather. The indoor dining area is equally impressive--clean, comfortable, and inviting. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that consistently delivers excellent food, outstanding drinks, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Agave has definitely earned my recommendation, and I'll be returning again soon. This was our first visit and everything went smoothly from prompt service, good drinks, and tasty food. The fried sweet plantains were perfectly cooked. Additionally, we tried the bowl, brisket burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. The complimentary chips and salsa were a hit with thin crisp tortilla chips and a thick unique salsa, which was quite tasty. Overall a positive visit.

Well, we were sorely disappointed in what arrived. Including a picture of my Lengua taco. I asked for no onions but keep the cilantro and add cheese and tomato's. Instead, they gave me a horribly tiny portion of meat and nothing else [smh]. My husband was excited to get a breakfast plate. It did not have 1/2 of what was described (no cheese, no avocado, and only a mouthful of rice!). Additionally the eggs were supposed to have "peppers, onions and tomatoes" in them. The peppers were JALAPEÑOS! Loaded. Almost an inedible joke. And, they forgot to send the pupusa I ordered.... Again, very sad. Never again. I can't justify a second chance based on what they served. No pride in what they sent out tonight.
