An ugly trim I didn't ask for which took part of her front leg 'feathers' off, the pretty feathers around her ears, and her Aussie "pants" were just a mis-matched mess of things. Kristen worked her magic and while I hated the fact that Skylar had to be trimmed shorter so she will grow in evenly, she looks so so so much better! As a groomer, you should know where to stop. I know accidents can happen, but to BOTH DOGS!? My dog doesn't even want me to touch her paw. She cut meat from the nail! Even though I discussed with her to cut and grind the rest. The worst part was her response!!! She claim it was only a little, that there was no blood on the towel... of course there wasn't blood on the towel they weren't walking on there paws, so there was no pressure. She put a powder on her paw, & said "she'll be okay, this is why they make the powder for". No pet owner wants to hear that! My dog is in pain and is extremely upset at this place. The rest of the hair looks sloppy. The way it was cut looks like she regular scissors. I'm sorry but I don't recommend Kristen EVER!

When we arrived they spent a bit of time greeting my pet and sent us to the vet section but the check in lady with red sparse hair claimed we were told it should've been our appointment slot on the dot and that we were not told we'd be accommodated. That is not something I misheard on the phone so it was inappropriate to insinuate I was lying. Also claimed their last appointment spot was 30 minutes earlier than the slots on the website, when I had checked availability earlier the same day there were definitely later appointment spots. Never had this issue elsewhere, did not even try to reschedule me or offer other locations.

For starters, it's a small, woman owned business. And the woman who owns it is just fantastic. Christina runs a warm, friendly, caring, welcoming, and nurturing daycare for dogs that I swear rivals the best of human nursery schools. The same staff has worked there for years which is always the best sign of a well-run organization. I've watched with pride as she expanded the business over the years and has maintained the same exceptional quality of care and grooming. Special appreciation for Lacey, a stellar groomer and Pippi's other mother, Ali and John who always make our experience more personal. Frankly, if you don't have a dog, you should get one just so you can also go to WYP.

I even called the manufacturer, and they told me that Beital's Aquarium was definitely the place I needed to contact. I called the next business day, and what I believe was the owner answered. Right away, he started calling his supplier while I was still on the phone trying to track down the exact tank I wanted. That level of service was impressive. Within about 15 minutes, everything was handled and I was able to place the order. He even matched online pricing. Since that first phone call, I've been making the drive from Westchester to shop there for some really amazing fish. Anytime I have questions--or even random algae problems--Craig, the owner, has been an absolute expert and incredibly helpful. You can tell he has years of experience, and it makes a huge difference for customers like me. Great store, great service, and an owner who truly knows his stuff. Highly recommend.
