I would give this place 10 stars if I could. On our 2500 mile road trip of course we drove over some thing. That's some thing ended up being a slow leak that continued for hours until finally the kids were hungry and we pulled off in Troy, Missouri. What a blessing They're hungry stomachs were because we pulled in, got our lunch, and wouldn't you know there was Plaza tire service right next-door. We walked in were able to get the tire fixed and hung out pleasantly in the lobby of Plaza tire service with the wonderful gentleman. They were able to seal and plug our tire in under 45 minutes and have us back on the road. They treated my children with dignity and respect as well as they would treat their own. I felt safe and comfortable finishing our road trip home to Minnesota. read more

my son had a rack and pinion steering put on his car at another repair shop in troy. A year later he needed a front end aligement, took it to plaza tire in troy and they seen a naieve young man in an older car and said he needed a rack and pinion steering ,that was less than a year old. When i confronted them, they started making excuses. I am an old DIY car repair person and know enough that a rack and pinion steering doesn't go out in a years time! Cost over $1000 read more

Brought two vehicles in for oil change and tire rotation. First issue- Masks are required per county ordinance, no one wearing a mask (got it, you don't believe in Covid 19 and do not care about your customers). Next issue - Got home and oil leaking from both vehicles all over my driveway. Husband opens the hood to find oil all over the place in both vehicles, we have to clean it up. Third issue - Hwy driving and notice tires are out of balance as my steering wheel is vibrating. Guess they don't balance when rotating. Almost $100 for each vehicle. Definitely not going back. Will drive over 30 miles to my normal guy who treats me like family. At least I have never had any of these issues, he always updates me on air filter quality and how the tread is on my tires, etc. and way cheaper. read more

Good luck getting this location to honor your internet quote! They will tell you its a mistake, that it doesn't include mounting the tires, even when the quote shows the charges for tire disposal, valve stem and balance! I even called corporate and they told me the online quotes absolutely include mounting. Long story short, they are looking for a way to slip in extra charges when they can..... With these kind of sales tactics, I don't want to know what the aftercare (road hazard etc) would be like. Decided to spend my money elsewhere from now on. read more

Went into Plaza tire in Troy today. I had a slow leak in one of my tires that I pulled off the car and took it in there. I dropped it off and they told me would take less than an hour to fix I said fine and then I ran an errand over to Walmart - when I was at Walmart I noticed Walmart tire fixed for $10 for flats. When I return to plaza they wanted to charge $20 for flat- I express to them that the price at Walmart was 1/2 of theirs. Response was they said they plug theirs tires from the inside out - Walmart from the outside in. So I guess if they fix the leak from the inside out it won't go flat at least that's what they thought I would think. Really!!! My mistake was not comparison-shopping. My question what kind of other prices are they doubling up we don't know about. read more
