Their reminder system is not aligned with municipal requirements, and their billing and accounts receivable processes are fundamentally flawed. I was repeatedly told by staff that a prior invoice had not been paid, despite the fact that I retained written confirmation showing the payment was submitted through their Intuit QuickBooks link and acknowledged with a "thank you for your payment" email. Despite providing this documentation, the company unilaterally canceled a scheduled service appointment the day before it was to occur, citing non-payment. When confronted with proof, the explanation shifted to a claim that they "never received the funds from the credit card company," which is not a defensible position to place on a customer after confirming receipt. These outdated business practices, inconsistent internal communication, and lack of basic financial controls introduce unnecessary risk for clients. While I had initially intended to continue using this company, the operational failures and resulting service disruption make them unreliable and difficult to do business with. There are other providers who can deliver the same service with greater professionalism, transparency, and reliability, and I will be pursuing those alternatives going forward.

After their technician serviced my backflow preventer this spring, my irrigation system stopped running. I didn't realize it right away. By the time I noticed, my lawn had already browned out and some plants were damaged. When I raised the issue, it took 2-3 weeks of back and forth to get nowhere. Certified Backflow didn't put the valve back to how they found it, which was in working condition. Their procedure states they restore valves to the position in which they are found, but they did not follow this procedure and won't take accountability for it. Management's first response was to hide behind policy rather than acknowledge what happened. They did send their GM out to look at the damage, which I appreciated. But even after seeing it firsthand, they couldn't provide any evidence that the technician left the shutoff valve in the correct position, and they offered nothing toward the damage caused. Mistakes happen. I get that. But after 20 years, I expected better. Finding a new provider.

I called them to make sure the rates were accurate, and to get an idea of when they would do the test. The guy was super nice, and he said he'd do the test on Wednesday, and they said they'd leave a note on the door when it was completed. They did it a day early, and left the note on the door just like they said. This was exactly the ideal experience in my opinion, so I strongly recommend them!

I was out of town when we learned her kitchen faucet was spewing water from the spray hose. On top of that we noticed her water bill had recently spiked and Barry found a massive leak under the crawl space due to a broken gate valve. He jumped on both issues and went out of his way to source a new faucet assembly then professionally replaced the sink faucet. He then cut and replaced the ball valve under the crawl space and re-insulated the assembly to protect it from the weather. Get this!
