The Complete Heating team were friendly and efficient. They replaced a furnace, coils, heat pump and condensate pump, associated duct work, wrapped the previously unwrapped refrigerant pipe, relocated a thermostat and installed new. It was all done in two days. Everything was well organized and they were well prepared. Equipment was all mid-tier options with a 16 SEER Heat Pump. We had 3 other companies come and provide quotes, all were $2-$5k more for a very similar system (high end quote from the expensive company was almost 9k more than what we had installed). Definitely get multiple quotes, and definitely get a quote from Complete Heating! Would recommend for any install and maintenance. They will be taking care of our system for years to come now. Great service and competitive price. We bought a house in Kent recently. The gas water heater is 18 yrs old. So we decided to have it replaced. I contacted a few companies on Yelp and Angi. There was a gas line in front of the water heater. Every one except Complete Heating asked for extra charges for removing and reconnecting the gas pipe. One of them was $1k more. SECOND UPDATE: I don't know how (1) to get this company to make an appointment because they rarely return calls or website messages, and (2) to get them to show up when they actually make an appointment. It took numerous calls before I could get a maintenance appointment for many months out. I wait many months for my April appointment. No one shows up. I call them and they tell me their repair guy had emergency surgery the week before and would be out for awhile. Wish they had told me so I didn't wait around all day. Flash forward 7 months and many many calls and messages and I have yet to be able to get that maintenance appointment. And my heat pump of course is now broken. read more

So when I decided to replace my aging gas furnace with a heat pump/gas backup, i included them in the bidding. They were the lowest cost with the best system and did an amazing job. The installation was difficult, but they pulled it off and left the place cleaner than before they came. AC went out this week. Home was vary warm, up to 83 degrees. Called Bob's and they said they could come out August 28th...or pay $399 for an "emergency" visit later in the week. Obviously that wasn't unacceptable. Did some quick research and called Complete. Wally came out the next day, on time. Our capacitor was out and he quickly replaced it. Very friendly and reliable. They never showed up. I contacted Complete Heating & A/C after all the positive reviews here on Yelp, but unfortunately, my experience with Complete Heating was a complete mess. I called to set up an initial appointment which was for Friday. The receptionist took my information and told me they'd be here Friday, but also mentioned they might be able to move the appointment up to Thursday. She told me to call back on Tuesday to double check. I called back Tuesday and no one answered so I left a voicemail. I called back the next day, and still no answer or call back. **Not only did they not return my call, they never showed up for the Friday appointment.** Luckily I was able to contact another company who fit me in right away and fix my A/C, however, the experience with Complete Heating & A/C left a bad taste in my mouth. Coldest week of the year, snow and temperature in the teens... Then my furnace goes out. Forecast for the week was in the 20s. It's freezing cold inside the house. Wow - what service! Our home's a/c went out during a time of hot and smokey weather (of course), and we were desperate to have it repaired. I called CH&A around noon, and they had someone scheduled to see us at 2pm that same day. Get this, just before 2pm our power went out, but the technician, Wally, graciously agreed to re-schedule to when the power came back on. I ordered an Ecobee thermostat for my house and after working with Ecobee on line for hours trying to find the "C" wire running form my Thermostat to my furnace I decided let a professional find it. I got on Yelp and Complete Heating came up with good reviews and close to my house, I want to say it was like 3 or 4 in the afternoon when I called. The lady on the phone asked if I had heat now and I said no she said let me see if I can get one of the guys to come to your house on the way back to the shop. She said it would be about 100.00 for him to come out and hook it up. So about an hour later Ryan showed up and knew my furnace and wiring and went right to work. My blue C wire changed to brown at the furnace. Ryan was professional, helpful and even checked my furnace and told me to change my air filter to a larger one. When a part had to be ordered, he showed us the part in Amazon and suggested that we order the part directly, due to the extra charges if they had to bring in the part. He installed another part free of charge during a second visit and was not even charging for the visit (I insisted and paid). Ryan showed up and gave an estimate to replace our furnace. Their quote was MUCH lower then anyone else's and were able to install within a week (other companies quoted higher with install being in 2-3 weeks). Our furnace was dead no heat at all, Anita was very nice and drove over 2 space heaters to help keep us room (something they didn't have to do). Ryan and Chris came on Tuesday to install the furnace and cleaned up after themselves. It was a wonderful experience and we will use them again if needed. Already told a bunch of people about them. On a Friday morning, heading into the hottest weekend of the year, my A/C unit would not start. In a panic I called around to the 'big boys' and couldn't find anyone that was able to send a tech out until the following week. I happened on Complete's listing, saw a couple very nice reviews, and decided to call them. When I asked if they would be able to get anyone out the same day, she asked where I lived and since I was pretty close to their Fairwood location, she said she would try to get a tech out to take a quick look after he finished up one job and came back to the office. A couple hours later, the tech called and said he would be by in a few minutes. After spending a few minutes looking at the unit, the tech found a capacitor that had blown. He replaced it and Voila! We were able to sleep comfortably through the night in a cool home and it didn't cost a fortune -- far from it. I know nothing about A/C and electrical and it would have been very easy for him to recommend replacing the condenser or the whole unit -- but his main concern was making me happy no matter how much (or how little) it cost. I will be scheduling on-going maintenance with Complete and if/when we do need a new condenser, they will be doing the work. Highly recommended! read more

I called last week for an appointment which was scheduled for the following Thursday at 2. Took time off of work to be home. They don't arrive. I call and lady in front office said I was not scheduled and acted like it was my fault. Told her she was the one that scheduled me. So, I contacted this place to come and repair Mothers system after repeatedly using the company that installed it. It never worked correctly from day 1. The Technician was very knowledgeable, and patiently listened to all of our complaints. He was able to pinpoint that the thermostat was faulty, he cleaned the filter and serviced the heatpump, as well as added coolant. He stayed to assure system cooled, and then heated to temperature. He insisted on coming out that evening and was at my house within an hour. It took all of ten minutes to fix it. I had the best possible experience with Complete Heating and AC. We wanted to get central AC installed since our house gets insanely hot during the summer (due to our west facing windows). Our furnace was also towards the end of it's life, so it was a perfect time to get new heating and cooling setup for the house. Anita was great over the phone and explained the whole process and provided a ball park of what it would cost. Her knowledge and advice was very comforting. The actual estimate was easy and thorough. Ryan actually spent more time writing up the proposal with very specific details on what would be installed. I think he spent more time on the proposal than actually inspecting the house. That seemed weird to me, but it was just because he knew exactly what the house needed. The install took 2 full days, which was a little more than we anticipated, but based on all the work that needed to be done, I'm surprised it didn't take longer. From the fabrication of new vents, to the electrical work, including drywall, the crew did an amazing job. After it was all said and done, we're extremely happy. Ryan was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions, even responding to texts at night throughout the process. He didn't up sell me on bigger, stronger furnaces and AC units because of the efficiency gains that the new equipment provides. After talking to Anita and Ryan, I actually never got additional bids. I felt comfortable that I got a great price for a new furnace, new AC and new exhaust vent on the top floor. Now that we have everything installed, I think I made a great decision.
