The front desk is so kind and pleasant, the hygienist is incredibly gentle, professional, and thorough, and Dr. Ramin is simply outstanding. My son was on the verge of having an anxiety attack in the dental chair, and Dr. Ramin handled the situation with so much patience, compassion, and calm that he completely changed the experience for him. I've used Dr Ramin Sami for the past 6 years but recently had to change due to their policy of not accepting Delta Dental. I realize they had to make a business decision but it left me out looking for a new dentist who will accept Delta. I've had a few appt coordination issues over the past few years but generally I give the office staff high marks. Dr Sani has always provided top notch dental services and advice - 5 stars for him. However, there has been many changes in their hygienists with a mix of experience. If your insurance is accepted, I recommend this office. If you have Delta Dental, don't bother. read more

Overall professional and clean and friendly office. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of the assistants who was scraping at my teeth too hard and I had to yell so she would stop. The dentist heard and told her to stop. Also one of my nerves was hit during a service which caused a lot of anxiety for me due to the pain. The pain did subside after 2 weeks. I went to another dentist but this is because I think my teeth or nerves are sensitive. read more

called ahead to set up a regular cleaning gave the lady that answered the phone all my insurance information, she told me that for a regular cleaning i would have to pay a $50 fee on top of my insurance. I told her i never had to pay that fee before and went ahead and scheduled the appointment anyway. i then called my insurance and verified with them that i did not have to pay a $50 deductible fee for regular cleaning. I called back the office and spoke with the same lady and she then seemed annoyed that i called my insurance and said well just come in and we'll see here what you have to pay or not pay or we can just cancel your appointment. seems like a very dishonest way of doing business. this is why i called and provided my insurance information a head of time to verify. Recently moved to Pleasant Hill and needed a new dentist. My husband saw Dr Sani and had a good experience so I decided to give the office a try. I was very impressed. The office was very clean, staff professional, kind, high EQ. Dr Sani was great. I had a gum issue and instead of just being aggressive with a treatment plan, he was thoughtful and we discussed next steps with a step-wise approach. He also used an ultrasound water device to do part of the dental cleaning. This was a big improvement over the scrapping device which my prior dentist only used. I went here for the first time today and I was really impressed. First off, parking was easy. In fact, I parked right in front of the office. Then, I got to the practice and they quickly opened the door for me, took my temperature and gave me my forms to fill out ( I was unable to fill them out inadvace). While doing so, they allowed for sufficient air ventilation, had an air purifier going, and had the desk shields around the person sitting at reception. I should also mention the office is clean, beautiful, modern, and I think I was one of 2 patients in a rather large office. Hannah was my Hygienist and she did a great job cleaning my teeth. She actually cleaned my teeth, instead of poking around and putting on some fluoride. Lastly, Dr. Sani was very friendly, knowledgeable, and was someone you actually want to go to (great bedside manner). Overall, I was really impressed by this office and recommend them. read more

First time patient and I cannot rave about Dr. Sani enough! He is kind, compassionate, and expertly skilled. His practice is VERY clean and spacious. Not to mention AFFORDABLE as I was paying out of pocket. I am touched by the tenderness he and his team treated me with. I had an erupted wisdom tooth that broke and was causing me a lot of pain when chewing. I was a bit desperate as it was an emergency situation and tired of calling practices who had openings months away & wanted to bill me into the Stone Age. I searched for help on Yelp and found him as one of the first, highly rated suggestions in the East Bay. And I absolutely understand why! I called and Dr. Sani encouraged me to come in and made an appointment for me for the following morning. His team took an X-ray and he walked me through what he was seeing in my teeth. He warned of risks, managed my expectations, and explained each step along the way. He kept checking in with me to make sure I had no pain as he extracted the tooth. He will not bill you unnecessarily or try to force you to undergo procedures you don't need. I highly recommend Dr. Sani. He is a kind doctor and he made me feel so taken care of. The best dental office visit experience I've ever had. I went to Dr. Sani based on a coworker recommendation to remove my wisdom teeth. I had been putting this on hold for a very long time as I was afraid of pulling my teeth out. Dr. Sani explained the whole process in detail, numb me a few times during the process to make sure I didn't feel any pain, even told me some jokes to calm me down, and there.. he pulled the tooth out easily without me even noticing! I called here this morning to see if i could be seen. I called at 830 am. The very nice receptionist/assistant told me I could come in at 945 am. I called them because western dental was trying to make me undergo a root canal for gum pain and I didn't feel I was being treated properly. He took the time to talk with me about everything I was feeling. He asked plenty of questions. They took some X-rays of the area around the tooth. He said he felt like I might just have food stuck in my gum. He said my X-rays were fine, my tooth was healthy, a root canal was not needed. WHEW! Within 30 seconds of looking at my gums, he found a popcorn kernel. I saved so much time, money, and pain by going to see him! I cannot be more grateful. if you want to be treated right, have trust in your care provider, and be in a VERY CLEAN setting, GO! read more

The best experience I have had in a dental office! The office is tucked away in a strip mall shopping center and the interior is clean, modern and professional. Due to COVID they are following the guidelines for safety and I felt completely safe and relaxed - as much as you can be in a dentist's office lol. Both my hygienist Miriam and Dr. Sani were very informative, explaining everything from flossing, the X-rays and photos of my teeth to the long term plan for my dental care. Ruth at the reception desk and phone was cheery and helpful. Also, I've never had a dentist office explain the priorities of my care in terms of my dental coverage limits and how financially we could postpone some procedures. He fixed work from a previous dentist (that charged me a lot more) and uses only high quality dental products for his procedures (which the other guys used cheaper stuff).
