I have lived with this bathroom for a long time and was extremely excited to have it redone. We had it in contract that they would demo the shower and tub area, put in a new window, take out a steam trap/put in an exhaust fan, new floor, put in a new sink (purchased by us) , a medicine cabinet (purchased by us) a toilet paper holder/towel bar would be installed (purchased by us) and put in our old toilet that was in good shape. We also had in contract that the area outside the wet area would be finished to paint ready, and they would install new light sockets and a light fixture/mirror. They said all cracks and holes in the dry wall would be filled, fixed, and sanded. From time of talking to the sales rep to construction starting was several months which we knew about. We were originally told it would take 3 days. Then it was told by the construction manager that it would be 3-4 days. Which was fine. Originally the sales rep said the crew would rip everything out, sand the wall down and that way we could paint before they put everything back in. That was not told to us by the workers their first day, but I thought hey they are the professionals so I trusted them. 4 days later, they said they were done. I went in to the bathroom after they left. Only to find the door/doorway was installed crooked, the walls/ceiling still had cracks in it. They caulked around certain things and missed spots. The plug he had installed back in was my original old plug that wasn't working properly before and now it wasn't working at all. The toilet paper holder had what we thought was a hole above the fixture. So I called the construction manager at the office. I told him my concerns and he stated he would send the crew back to fix it. They come back to fix it and did a less than stellar job. This time there was still spots in the dry wall to fix, my gf pointed out another nail under the tp holder that hadn't been filled in AND the tp holder fell off the wall when I barely touched it. The door way was crooked, at this point I would've thought the manager in charge of construction would've wanted to show up and look at it at least. I called and complained again. The manager told me he would send a different crew. And proceeds to ask me if I'd be willing to release the other half of my payment to them in which I said no. So another week goes by not being completely done. The new crew shows up I go over everything with them. They start working and then when they go on lunch I go upstairs to look at what they had been working on. My door way looked worse than it did the first time. Which I didn't think was possible. AND the door knob they installed locked from the inside when it was closed. So the door was stuck locked with nobody in the bathroom. So they proceed to come up with a solution to the door way and knob issue. At the end of the day they fixed the door being crooked but now they used some construction caulk and merged my door frame for the bathroom with the one for my spare room. I thought at least it looked better than the first two options. They replaced the knob to one with a different locking mechanism. Everything else then looked okay in the bathroom that day. So I released the other half of the $22,000+ total to them. A week goes by, and now we have noticed they took off a small piece of trim/baseboard outside of my bathroom doorway andnever put it back. Then tonight we noticed part of the floor doesn't match up with the baseboards inside the bathroom. So water is getting underneath it. I am deeply disappointed in this company and their "quality" service. There is a significant lack in communication between their departments. I would never recommend them, as this has become another disappointment in having work done in my house.

Dan came out the next day to size up the job. He was prompt and very knowledgeable about what Jeff was looking to have done. The patio door was ordered and came in approximately 3 weeks later. Dan and his crew were able to come out to do the job within a couple of days and completed the job in a day and a half just like he promised. They cleaned up and the installation went smoothly. After consulting with several different firms we chose to deal with Wonder Windows for the work to…read morebe done at our home in Eden NY because they had the best product with the best insulating qualities and the best price. Since the windows were built to our specifications it took about 1 1/2 months between contract signing and actual work to begin. Between August 4th and August 7th the 4 man crew of Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean worked on our home. Incredibly, the rough installation of the 14 windows was complete on the first day with 3 windows left to install due to the wall reconfiguration that was needed. On day 2, the crew returned and spent the entire day working on finish installing the windows. Around each window, insulating was carefully done to make sure that every possible way that outside air could infiltrate was sealed off. On days 3 & 4, part of the crew concentrated on completing the trim work. The rest removed 3 windows and installed 2 of the 3 in different areas of the wall after demolition and wall reconstruction was completed. The last window was smaller that the one removed of adjustments to the wall opening needed to be made. For this part, the owner came in from Rochester NY to oversee the 2 day project. During the work and at the end of each day the area around and inside our house was cleaned up so that the area was kept very clean. Inside, many drop cloths were used to minimize the mess that was being created. Several times during each day, we were encouraged to review the installation from inside the house and make sure the installation being done was being done as we wanted and to inspect the windows as well so any adjustments could be made, if needed. The few minor details that we pointed out were immediately rectified and we were asked to reinspect to be sure it was done, again to our satisfaction. Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean were incredible. They worked as a team. We were encouraged to also periodically check the outside work, again the be sure it was being done exactly as we wanted. All of our questions were answered with full explanations and, unlike other firm's employees, without being made to feel like nuisance. Many times during each day, Brad would explain where they were in terms of the project and where the next phase of the work would begin. After completion, we were again asked to review their work both inside and outside of the home. The installation was incredibly beautiful and no problems were found. This was an instance of picking the right firm for the job. It was also the right firm to deal with because of their employees. Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean were polite and very friendly. Their work was outstanding and their being there made us believe that we made the right choice. We really encourage anyone needing window installation or replacement to make no decisions until you check with Window World.
