The room was a tiny cramped dim studio inside this acupuncture shop. This is not a real professional place especially not for facials as listed on her updated site. I regretfully had a facial, if I was smart I should have ran. I honestly truly believe the old reviews on skin are fake dishonest, they are highly likely friends /family. Facial was extremly rough and painful. She barely knew how to place the steamer wand near my head and only used for 3minutes. I was being manhandled, Intense rapid rubbing everywhere. I asked why she was going soo fast, she replied "it's korean style" ..... and whatever lube product she sloppily slathered on mt face, roughly rubbing , was seeping into my eyes! I Was nervous to getup and leave because we were alone and she locked the front door. I would have been happier donating my hard earned money to the pet shelter up the road. Dear god I'll never put myself through that again or hope no one experiences that awful experinece!! Yerin Skincare, owned by Grace, is located inside Elly Hair Salon. I've been getting my hair done in the salon, but didn't really know much about Grace then. I would just notice a lot of people coming in and going straight to the back of the salon. They always came out looking really happy. My hairdresser gave me a brochure of Grace's services, raving about how great Grace did on her semi-permanent eyeliner. Semi-permanent make-up? Ooh sign me up! I wanted to have my eyebrows and eyeliner done, but I saw that each service was $250. That would be a total of $500. I hesitated. Frankly speaking, I have embarrassingly ugly eyebrows. They only grow halfway, so I spend a lot of time every morning drawing them on. It would make sense for me to have semi-permanent brows, but I wasn't ready to spend that much money then. I figured I can just keep drawing it on. Much cheaper that way. A couple of years later, microblading suddenly became really popular. A few of my friends had their eyebrows done, and the results were amazing! The price though? I was shocked with how expensive it was! I then remembered about how much Grace was charging. $250 doesn't seem like so much anymore. So I scheduled my appointment with Grace the same day I was getting my hair permed at Elly. Grace was very responsive in her texts and even sent me a reminder closer to the appointment day. When I arrived, Grace took note of how I did my eyebrow makeup. She wanted to know my preference, so she made observations. She told me that due to my face shape, I can get away with thicker brows and asked if I wanted that. I had no idea what worked for me, so I just let Grace make all the decision. Even if I put my complete trust in her, she still kept making sure I was comfortable with it. The actual procedure wasn't that bad since she applied numbing cream. I was so nervous. I've never gotten a tattoo or anything so I thought I wouldn't be able to handle the pain, but Grace was gentle and made me feel at ease. She was really sweet the whole time too. I enjoyed our conversation :) The end result wasn't what I expected. It was VERY thick and VERY dark. She told me that that's how it is in the beginning and that it'll lose 50% of the color and thickness overtime. She sent me home with thorough instructions on how to care for my brows and some cream and Vitamin E. I appreciated that she was available by text whenever I had questions! Within 2 days of getting my brows done, I already received TONS of compliments. And the time it takes for me to get ready in the morning has significantly decreased. Most importantly, my confidence has gone up tenfold. You don't understand the relief of not having to carry my eyebrow pencil anymore in case I accidentally rub my brows off! A month later, Grace texts me to get a retouch. By then, my brows have significantly gotten lighter and thinner. I loved it and didn't think it needed a retouch. But Grace knows best! She says it lasts longer that way. The retouch process was a little more painful than the first one because the area was still sensitive, but it was tolerable because Grace just applied more numbing cream. My eyebrows are still in the recovery period, so when they're healed, I'll post pictures! So I know this is a long review, but I just really love Grace and the wonders that she's done to my confidence. Thanks, Grace! :) In summary, I highly recommend Grace. I came here because of a recommendation from a good friend and needless to say, I was amazed. Grace explained to me everything that she was going to do, from massaging my arms to misting my face. She was very understanding and honestly, some places surprise you. She also gave me incredible advice as to how to care for my skin in the future (avoiding too much sun exposure, hydrating, etc.) I definitely will be scheduling facials from now on monthly because in the past, I believed facials were useless but now I feel the effects of pressure point facial massage coming in and I absolutely love it! read more

I've been her customer for several months now. Satisfied with the price and output. I had a semi hardcase of acne trouble, felt like my skin was in a decent state after a couple sessions. Think she has around 15+ yrs of experience, so she knows what she's doing. She's also very friendly, easy to tell her what you want/expect. Heads up that your face will be red like you're blushing after the first few sessions on that day if you have a bad case like mine, but there's really no way around it if you want to get rid of acne.. Compared to other facials I've had, I've only seen results from Grace. She's super nice and accommodating, and she really takes the time to make sure your skin will be clear. She frequently gives advice on how to improve your skin care routine at home. I think the products she uses are also extremely effective because I'm never left with dark marks after extractions, unlike other places I've been to.
