Here I feel safe to be in contemplative thought and with a relatively quiet environment, it feels nice to not have to force conservation. To cheer myself up, I treat myself to a crystal every once in a while. I carefully read the labels that they have in their selection, and pick crystals based on what I resonate with most. The look is also really important to me as it is symbolic, I am a fan of quirky shaped crystals.

Upon entering you pay $18 per adult, $10 per child and toddlers are free. They had a scavenger hunt going on for the kids so that was super exciting. You really need several hours to go through everything because it's so interesting and there's so much information to take in. The upstairs area was closed and the events hall was also closed for an event. The employees were so nice and even gave us clues about the scavenger hunt. There's lots of cool places for photos and a coloring section inside the NASA area. We got candies in the 25 cent machines, dropped coins in the donation funnel and bought toys at the gift shop. We turned in our finished scavenger hunt and got slinkies. Outside there's a massive exhibit of different aircrafts used in different wars from all around the world. There's a radio museum outside as well. Overall we had such an amazing time. What a great way to learn. I highly recommend it to anyone.

We collect stickers and magnets so we picked one up at the gift shop. Afterwards we drove to the picnic side and went on a small walk along the grass area. Before leaving, there's the Gless Ranch Citrus Stand where you can buy fresh juice and snacks. We bought a freshly squeezed OJ and took some pictures at the entrance before heading out on the road. Usually there are instructions showing how items should be positioned in the machines, but this time there were only reference photos inside the machine. I asked an employee if they could reposition an item (something I've never had an issue with before), and the interaction felt pretty rude. They told me, "You shouldn't look at the reference photos, those are for employees." They attempted to reposition the item, but honestly just placed it back in basically the same spot, so it didn't help at all. It was disappointing because I used to enjoy coming to this location. I don't think I'll be returning since I don't want to feel like I'm inconveniencing staff just by asking for help.
