Plia's is my go-to place! I've had to limit myself to only once a week. My favorite dishes are their beef pad Thai and pad ka pao (green been pork stir fry with a perfectly fried egg every time!). I absolutely love their spring rolls and wish they included the extra veggies without a charge. Prices are just right and serving sizes are huge. Two things I would like to see improve though: phone orders and consistency on spice level; sometimes when I order it spicy it's either way too spicy or not enough spicy, lol. read more

Doesn't look out of the ordinary when you drive past, in fact it's wedged between a bagel house and a grocery store - but this is one of my favorite places to eat and I come back again and again for my favorite comfort foods. By far the best takeout in Green Bay. The menu is Southasian and they are true to their roots, and their menu is filled with authentic delicious food. There is usually a 15-30 minute wait time, only because of how delicious and popular it is, and everything is made fresh to order. The food always arrives piping hot, packed with flavor, and perfectly garnished. I always order the Shrimp Pad Thai with extra shrimp and bean sprouts, and they always deliver. I simply cannot rave about this wonderful little place enough. I recommend it to anyone I can, and have gotten people dead set against trying new foods falling in love with Plia's. I think I've come here like over 15 times now. lol A friend asked me if I wanted to try some bomb ass pho. I'm new to Green Bay, so I said Yeahh! He took me here, I thought it was very cool modern with cool Hmong art pieces on the wall. It reminded me of this top restaurant gallery in Milwaukee that I love to go too. Once I saw the menu, my heart was about to explode! lol I saw khao piak! Oh my lord! Is a Laos noodle that some of my friends make and I miss it. So I got super excited lol it was sooooo good. I tried the pho, pho is banging. Curry is banging too. Place is clean and service is great. I think is a family business, so I greatly support that and the young ladies that work there work hard and do a great job. My husband and I were looking for something different and new in the area and based off of previous reviews this place was picked. You order right when you walk and then you are seated. The egg roll my husband ordered had a really excellent sweet in sour sauce. Sometimes when you order the sauce is way to sweet this was well balanced. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was not only beautifully plated but the flavors were really good as well. I had to add a little hot sauce as I like mine with a little heat. Since they had such a great selection of sauces on the table it was hard to decide what to add to my dish. The portions were large and we had enough for leftovers for lunch. We will be back to try other things on the menu and I recommend you stop in. They do take out just in case you show up and they are packed. It is a small restaurant after all. read more

Plia's stuffed chicken wings are to die for. Very unique in a very good way. These tasty wings are worth every penny believe me! They came with crispy grill marks and very tasty Thai sauces that make the wings pop. The rest of the food was very good too. But I'd drive all the way from Chicago just to get the grilled, stuffed chicken wings. First class entree. Have "a go to" place now, when visiting family. We are from out of town. A family member suggested this new place. Here's my review: Service: We were greeted with smiles. Servers remembered our names and our dishes. We were not just treated as customers but we were treated personally well. The menu was posted on the wall. Harder to read as prints were a tad bit small. Would have loved to have had a copy to hold and read off from. Pricing was right on affordable! To sum it up, overall service was great! Food: I ordered the Ka Poon and pauses papaya salad. Both were delicious and the best part, the iced Thai coffee was the best! Very satisfied with the service and food. Next time I am in town, we will choose this place over other pho joints. Tried to call and order takeout so it would be ready when I got there, couldn't get through on the phone. When I arrived at this cute little place the tables were all full with one person ordering at the counter. Ordered the Pad Thai spicy with Chicken, a spring roll and sticky rice. He told me it was going to be 20 minutes which I had kind of expected. After I ordered there was a line of 5 or 6 more people so I had a seat in the waiting area. My food was done in less than 10 minutes. It was all very delicious. Large helpings for minimal price. The Pad Thai was tasty and done perfectly, although not very spicy when it was ordered that way and did notice the egg was pushed off to once corner until I was nearly done eating. Chicken was large slices but very tender. Spring roll was huge, tasted good but because of the length it seemed like you didn't get any bites with all the parts in it - still would recommend it though. Some friends brought over the Hmong egg rolls a few weeks back...really great deal for a dozen, and they are much now flavorful and higher quality than your typical egg roll. The pork were AMAZING. Also recommend the drunken noodle, perfectly cooked, and the red curry was solid - it had a nice kick. It also had these adorable and delicious mini mushrooms. Very impressed with all the flavors...and very reasonable cost Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also if you eat in they have a huge assortment of condiments to add to your dish. The stuffed chicken wing is one of the best things you can eat. On the planet. We come back again and again for those --- everything else has been so so. Tucked away in a little corner across from Webster Avenue Market, I heard this place was worth a try. It sure is! Clean modern little place. Authentic Hmong foods. The place is kind of small. But I love how there is lots of parking space and easy parking lot to go into. Plus the food is amazing! Piping hot and fresh!
