Fantastic vegan burgers, sides, shakes, and soft serve. All plant based! We had the Big Burger and the mushroom bacon burger. The herb fries and tge sweet potato fries were also excellent. The dining room and the restroom were clean. Looks like they have a very generous rewards program. Even after only our first purchase we already have some rewards. We will be back. Came here for a milkshake when I was in the area. I ordered it on the PLNT Burger app and it was made quickly. The black and white milkshake was fantastic and was so creamy and decadent and frothy. It had a lovely combination of chocolate and vanilla flavors. The consistency was perfect and was so enjoyable to drink. I love the ambiance of the restaurant and the booths were so comfy. I also love the cute signage on the walls. The service was friendly when I arrived and the employees were helpful. Parking was fairly easy in the surrounding area with plenty of available meters and free neighborhood street parking a couple of blocks away. I have been meaning to check out PLNT Burger in Brookline. I was excited to see a place that offers vegan options. It has the feel of the classic fast-food chains but everything here is plant-based. Of course there are many other places where you can get "high quality" plant-based food, but I think it's great that there is a place where plant-based options are there when considering fast food. I went in during the evening wanting to check out the desserts. I was craving a soft serve and figured they had a vegan one, and they do! I ordered at the kiosk and by the time I finished, my soft serve was ready within a minute - talk about some speedy service! The soft serve met expectations. They offered vanilla, chocolate, or swirl. I got the swirl and was happy that the soft serve was creamy (oat milk based) and held it's own on a summer evening. Would definitely go back for this and to try out more of the menu. I didn't really engage much with employees besides picking up the order since I ordered at the kiosk, but that makes sense for a spin on a "fast food" chain type place. The inside of the store is pretty retro, which I think is fun. Great location and super easy to drop in, pick up (or dine in) with some good food, and go about your day exploring Coolidge Corner. read more

I went here for a quick lunch on a weekday and it surprised me a lot. There wasn't really anyone at the front register when I got there, but luckily they had a kiosk for me to place my order. I ordered the Plnt burger as-is and it came out pretty quickly - probably in less than 5 minutes! I was expecting something more vegetable-y, but it had a bouncy and spongy texture which wasn't unpleasant. It tasted like mushroom, and when I looked up what the patty was made of, it was a lot of soy with mushroom concentrate, so that made a lot of sense. I have to say, it didn't feel incredibly healthy, but it was very very tasty. The burger sauce, the caramelized onions, and the veggies all melded together really well and it was delicious. It was about $9 after tax though, which did feel a bit pricey for a single burger, but it was actually very good. When I looked up the other Yelp reviews, I was also pleased to learn that the restaurant isn't just vegetarian as well - it's vegan! read more

Great spot. What a great spot! Food is spectacular service is great and the ambience is super cute. Think shake shack but in it for the environment and way happier (way better)... The Review: For transparency, I came to their opening event, so all the food was free. I had the classic burger, which was delicious. The food came out fast. The fries were wonderfully crispy. Best of all, the staff were very kind and accommodating, even bringing me a gluten-free (bun-free) hot dog to try! I liked the array of sauces to choose from. Nice fast food vibes but with a plant-based twist. Mostly everything is good, but I do have to say that the pricing to make the burger gluten-free could be considered discriminatory, at around $4. The alternative is going without a bun, in which case you're not recompensated for foregoing the bun... Seeing as they make veganism and vegetarianism accessible (financially too), they should make gluten-free equally so, since they already have the ingredients to do it. read more

Tiny but Mighty! PLNT Burger in Boston totally surprised me. The space is small--gives off old-school ice cream shop vibes--but it's got big flavor. I got the mushroom bacon burger, my husband got the cheeseburger, and our son got the chicken nuggets, fries, and a milkshake. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food was absolutely fantastic. When I took the first bite of my burger, I really felt like I was eating meat again. The bacon didn't add much but in overall, it's probably the best before burger I'd ever had. Everyone finished their meals and were deeply satisfied. I was skeptical about the milkshake but it was interesting. It tasted like frozen soy milk, which is fine. We were concerned because the wait time on their board said we were going to have to wait like fifteen minutes for the food but it actually came out much sooner. PLNT Burger just opened a new location in Coolidge Corner on Harvard street. The veggie burgers are 10x better than any frozen veggie burger you can buy. The hot dogs taste like real hot dogs (l used to eat Hebrew National), and the fish filet sandwich is sooo good. I haven't yet tried the chicken sandwich but I've asked around and it got rave reviews. The fries and dips are scrumptious. The decor is inviting , bright, colorful, and clean. when you sign up for their rewards, you get a free main (burger or sandwich etc)!!!! i got a B.I.G. burger for my free main and it was incredible. i'd never had any kind of plant based meat before and i really could not tell the difference between this and a beef patty (honestly this burger might've even been more flavorful). i was able to customize to my liking very easily on the app (no tomato, onions, or pickles) and the PLNT sauce was soooo good. a little more expensive than i'd like but it's great that they give you this reward at the beginning, definitely makes me want to go back despite the price (also the herb fries looked good i want to try hehe). the worker who greeted me was very nice and the food was prepared pretty quick!! wish i took a picture cause it was packaged up really nicely! :) read more

I love this place! While I'm not a huge fan of some of the pricing for insignificant substitutions ($3.50 for a gluten free roll?), I really enjoy their range of vegan options. The Beyond Burger is tasty and their regular fries are outstanding! The staff members are friendly and helpful and the place feels like a glimpse of a (slightly) healthier fast food future. The kosher certification is also so convenient for those who follow kosher dietary restrictions. The ambiance is friendly and fun, almost reminiscent of the diners of yesteryear. While there isn't much in terms of sitting area, most people seem to take it to go. Overall, a strong four stars. If they work on their pricing a bit and address their soggy sweet potato fries, I would upgrade to a five. Definitely try it. read more
