As I pull out, 4 inches of the plastic snake broke and dislodged into the drain pipe. I was unable to see it after removing the drain stopper. But water was draining... But then after showering twice, noticed drain starting to slow again. When Tony/Fabian came, they said they will try to get it out from the overflow. We would also change out the sink fixtures at the same time to gold ones. Our previous plumber gave us a quote which almost made me pass out from being so high, so I asked around and my close acquaintance referred me to Joe with Original Plumbing. I contacted him with my project, and he promptly got back to me with an itemized quote. The pricing was very fair for the scope of work. I contacted him again to schedule an appointment for the next week. Him and his employee showed up on time. They were respectful, courteous, and extremely competent. You can tell Joe is a master of the craft, and he let me know he has been a plumber for 20 years plus. It definitely shows in his work and the pride he takes in it! He completed everything and we couldn't be happier with the results. I already have another project lined up for my bathroom and will be using Joe exclusively from here on out. I was required to get a Moen Flow valve installed in order to get carried for home insurance. This…read moredevice comes with a supposedly *free installation* that is booked through a phone app called Frontdoor. Frontdoor cancelled my appointment for installation and said they won't have availability for another two weeks. So I called Moen to get a listing of authorized plumbers and will request a reimbursement for the installation from Moen (thanks Frontdoor for not doing your job). Apparently I am better at booking appointments than they are. Maybe I should apply to work there? Although I am partially covered up to $300 by Moen for reimbursment, I had to go a little over to book Original Plumbing. In comparison, a competitor quoted $500 more for the same service. In all fairness, Joe had to do a little extra work to make sure that I would be compliant and not have issues with Moen in the future. That alone is a life saver giving me peace of mind. I already had to get a power outlet on the outside of the house installed for this supposedly *free* device (after purchase) that is costing me a fortune. But at least Joe and Original Plumbing helped keep my costs as low as possible and I should be in good standing with my home insurance coverage. Joe was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and patient. I am happy that I chose him and it is nice to finally not have this nightmare project looming over me anymore since he completed it successfully.
