The kid swag elevates this otherwise 3 ish star rating to 4- it's not just crayons and a placemat. Youngsters are gifted with a full swag bag, containing surprise and delight items. Skip ahead to the next paragraph if you'd prefer to be surprised, or if you want to know now read on: contents of swag bag were a little pinball + ball maze-in-one toy, a Pluckers sticker, a temporary tattoo, and a little booklet of activities with stay put hexagonal crayons that kept the kids (and I) entertained while waiting for the food. Only one of the two bags had crayons which, intentional or not, is great for two kids to share. Moss didn't start growing on me but the food took just long enough to arrive to be noticably long- especially when the orders were basic garden salads, wings, and a burger, when the restaurant was at about 55% occupied tables. Our burger also cooled considerably while we waiting for a knife to brought to us. Maybe service is slower at the outdoor space. However, the covered patio here has cute walls such as a 'grammable "i love wings so much" in the style of the popular "i love you so much" wall art off South Congress, and faux grass floor for perennial spring picnic vibes. It's also not as cacophonous as the inside of want to have normal level conversations. Game watching experience is ok. The poorly hung four screen wall at the far end gives a bit of a distorted view. If you're here to watch a particular event, choose your seats carefully. Our food was solid.I love that they have Sriracha ketchup.My side garden salad was basically a full size portion. We ordered "real" food for the kids as their kids menu was the basic American standard of unhealthies of the grilled cheese/corn dog/chicken tenders ilk. Why can't restaurants just make kid portions of everything, instead of a kids menu that makes kids think those are the only things they should be eating? That's grooming for an unhealthy future yes? Speaking of unhealthy future the doggie bag containers are styrofoam. Yipes. Service was fair. Our server was was great. When we asked someone else for a knife it took 15+ minutes. Three stalls in the Chicks room with a faucet that's too close to the sink wall, which makes it awkward for hand washing. I always think of the staff. Overall an elevated wings/sports bar spot good for groups of all sizes and vibes by UT. read more

Not sure what happens to this store during the summer but they really hate filling orders before their cut off time and when you pay extra $$ for "extra wet" they give you less sauce than if you'd said nothing at all, very little sauce, but equal grease (see photos) for the extra $? As if that wasn't bad enough, I open the bag containing my side salads to find the dressing in the bag along with both salads busted wide open entirely filling the plastic sack with ranch and the romaine, like they chucked everything in the bag against a wall... Salads are always a disaster when ordering to-go here, but that coupled with spending extra money for the wing sauce to be so poor, place is getting pretty shabby... read more

Spicy Garlic cuz I just wanted a flavorful one and we already go plain ole Buffalo on the appetizer ones.... that one had a tiny kick - honestly should've been a 1 not the spicy scale. The Gochujange - no spicy at all! My friends and I always go here when there's a game but beware that there might be a wait ESPECIALLY ON BIG GAME DAYS. The servers are always super nice/attentive and they even gave us a little toy haha!! If you don't like loud places I wouldn't recommend going here since it gets a little crowded and people start cheering/yelling during games. However, they do have indoor seating, outdoor seating, and a bar area which is nice. We all got the 5 wing combo (fries not shown). I personally like the spicy garlic parmesan, but my friends like the spicy lemon pepper and mango habanero. They have a lot of flavors compared to other wing places which is nice. Some people say it's a little dry but you can always make them wet if you want more sauce. But personally, when I add more sauce it's a bit too salty for my taste. We stopped in after the FB game to use the card for free wings provided after UT won the game. It was very busy with a long wait. We put our name in before walking over and timed it just about right. There are booths and tables with TVs all around. Great place to watch sports. We all ordered wings in different flavors. I got the garlic Parmesan and they weren't the best. The garlic seemed to be powder (not fresh); the Parmesan was overcooked so that it looked more like burnt breadcrumbs and the type out of a canister. The plate did not come with celery and they charge you extra for ranch to dip the wings. Our large waffle fries order came out cold. The waiter was very gracious and brought out some fresh and hot fries right away for the table but they still seemed a bit undercooked or just. It that crisp. The food came out quickly and the servers kept our drinks coming and the water glasses full. I gave an extra star since it was after the game and the staff was likely pressed with the heightened demand which likely factored in to overcooking the Parmesan wings and undercooking the waffle fries. read more

Came in to eat some wings and was not disappointed . Went at around 1pm and it was somewhat slow no wait to get seated. The server was friendly and always checking in us for refills or anything we might need. The fried pickles are spears compared to the coin size adult given at other establishments and were fried up just right not too much breading and the spears were tasty and juicy. We also had the holy macaroni now they may look like mozzarella sticks but they are a step above filled with rich creamy macaroni and cheese and lightly breaded this was a delicious appetizer one that I would definitely eat again and the sauce it came with was great. When it came to the wings I had the boneless Hot honey Bijan made with the Ex TX Longhorn running back Bijan Tobinao. Signature Honey Bijan mustardson this was a great flavor slightly sweet mustardy and a little heat to round it off probably one of my favorite flavors I've tried my daughter ate the Bakers gold and she swears by it as it is her favorite. My love for Pluckers remains unwavering, except for when it's the Rio Grande/West Campus location. Challenges: -There aren't enough seats, and even when tables are available, they're often not cleaned in a timely manner. -The wait times are ridiculously long due to the large number of students who squat around for extended periods. While the servers do their best to accommodate these large crowds, the experience at this location simply doesn't compare to other Pluckers in Austin. read more
